@psarada..I think the PH doesnt want to let anybody else take over the project because if they then continue successfully 4 lions stands to lose face. Also even though they currently have a co producer, somehow.it is 4 lions who has gained thye most out of IPK. I dont know the terms of their deal with the other PH, but they seem to bebehind the curtain types.
So then what they are doing is playing blame games and creating confusion and doegrading the story to.such an extent that everyone begs them to.end the show.

See the point is there are lot of takers for this show still. Even the second production house I believe is still interested in continuing as well as the channel. It is only 4Lions who wants out. They I don't understand why the 4Lions PH doesn't hand over the reins of the show to some one else and walk out dignified. That would save lot of trouble for everyone and even fans would be grateful. But the way 4Lions is out to humiliate and demean the viewers is horrible. They will learn things the hard way.

I get what you are saying..
Things would have been in a much better state if the PH had researched and managed things better.
And if they had planned to end the show in a year they should have stuck to their plan rather than getting greedy and letting thinks go haywire. But these things seem beyond their understanding. To me they look like bunch of people who did not believe they would strike gold when they started their journey and dont know what to make of all the unexpected success.

most of the PH in india is like that only.. there was one called directors cut from Rajan Sahi.. same is the case.. starting of the serials gives so much of hope and later they make it as hopeless, and move to new shows.. don't know whether the same is related to profit making.. news shows for an year can make more profits than the old ones..??

Then it truly is a sad state of affairs..

Btw you seem have a truck.load of knowledge regarding the working of television industry...do you by chance work in a related feild

This PH should have stuck to their original vision and delivered the product they promised! The show was excellent till march 2012! Then they lost direction! Even up to July it was alright!!

But now, the PH wants to kill their baby! They have a great product still, all they need is to treat it with a bit more respect!

I agree with you. 4Lions doesn't want to hand over the show to someone else because they would lose everything if the other production house successfully brings IPK to the top. SP doesn't want to end the serial and hence we get the blame games, spoilers saying boring track ahead, degrading the story, characters and leads. It is like 4Lions is wishing for some miracle to have this show close. With Geet they had the channel revamp going on and here they are wishing the channel wouldn't pressurize them into continuing. Well each to its own. Now a days I will watch the serial one day at a time. The channel will take a decision by end of december because it has too many projects in pipeline and if TRPs are bad then IPK will face the axe. Let's see what happens next.
