In that case u should definitely go through this post I made like 2-3 days ago, read the first line and let me know if I sound fangirlish or frm the crew.

Trying to do a wholesome analysis, taking in account all the characters rather than simply identifying with one is not what I call, "Fangirlish". And as I said, I am just trying to understand them now. A happi;y ever-After is not in near future, cz that would signal the end of the show as it is a search of that perfection, which once achieved, its the end.

I am in complete unison with you. Have not watched a single 'Sheetal track' episode primarily to protect myself from pain and disgust. I have no problems with new entrees, its the inconsistent storyline and its insensitive/ immature handling that has hurt my sensibilities.

My sincere request to all of you is to also voice your opinions in fora where the makers/producers etc could read your concerns and suggestions. Serious rectification by the makers is required before things are too far gone. A case in point being the upcoming karvachauth episode - if Arnav is shown breaking Sheetal's fast - it will cause irreparable damage to Khushi, fans and the show.

Maybe threat of mass boycott of the show may work.

It feels good to see that one is not alone in ones sorrow!!

if anything people who know me well ,will all agree upon ,is that i brutally honest at all times.
given that, yes your previous post did not sound 'fangurlish' - you sounded just as disillusioned as i am. but i will maintain that the reply, written here, still remains under the 'fangurl' category for me. And evidently, i am not the only one who thinks that way.
but i did like the other post...a lot!

As if ASR will say sorry..Back when he realized that Khushi was planning to leave him after 6 months, i dont think i saw guilt or regret in him..even after bringing her back, he didnt even acknowledge his mistakes let alone apologize for it. I think he doesnt know the value of Khushi. She is been taken for granted. He knows that whatever he does she will endure it coz she loves him. Her love for him has destroyed her and is still killing her. And to top it, both these characters are so muddled up now that i doubt if ASR was ever ruthless and cold to anyone else other than his Uncle and Khushi.

Never once i bashed IPK before. Neither the actors nor the creatives. Not even during the post contract marriage days. But this is the limit. I dont even bother to watch the episode these days. I get my daily dose of original ArHi through the FFs.
Things have reached a point where the damange is irreparable. My only hope is that maybe Arnav is doing all this on purpose to rile up khushi or taking revenge on her for distrusting him.
Im not bashing here. This is a heart felt plea from a die hard IPK fan who cant stand to see the self destrucation of the show

See i am a literature person and I have been trained to take objective stands while analysing a situation, a scene or a book, anything, well now definitely my own personal subjectivity colors it slightly. And therefore I an able to make starkly opposite posts. On the 29th I felt betrayed when I heard Arnav talk about how he would willingly lose to Sheetal, cz thats not wat we were given, we were given an ASR, with very definite personality and that one dialogue seemed to bring that entire compact, concrete past under scrutiny. But the Arnav we now have is a changed man. He said earlier that he'd be awkward with Sheetal staying, but now it seems like with all the friendly banters he is moving from the ex-boyfriend mode to simply a friend mode. Now that said, we have seen him always as a man of few but honest words, and wen he clearly tells Khushi that nothing ever happened between him and Sheetal, he takes it almost for granted that Khushi gets it, I mean if u father a child you'll know, right?

Finally i clarified earlier as well that trying to understand Arnav doesn't make me immune to Khushi's pain, I am a woman myself and were I in her shoes, I would have been just as insecure. The thing is we r doing what the CVs want us to do, we r seeing things mostly frm Khushi's POV. I think the point here is to highlight the contrast between Arnav and Khushi, cz being in love doesn't make u mirror image of one another, u r still urself. And so Khushi reacts to this whole ex-gf fiasco in a typical middle class way while from where Arnav hails, such a thing is no big deal.

Finally I would sincerely request u to go through my SS, cz there i have tried to understand what must be going beneath the obvious. Well hope we r atleast clear that I am not some crazy 'fangirl', who has no arguments except for "I DISAGREE" or a crew member, as must be obvious frm my other post. I am just trying to take a balanced view of things.

I am sorry if it felt like a personal attack or something, cz it was surely not intentional.
