Her and Khushi were indulged into a conversation when Khushi felt something. Her heart became uncontrollably fast, and her hands began to sweat. She couldn't hear anyone else. She could only hear her heartbeat pounding through her ears. And her heart nearly pumping out of her chest. What was happening to her? Why was this happening? Khushi could not understand this feeling that was tingling in her body.
When she looked up at Meena her eyes were repeatedly looking at the same place. Above her. Although she still couldn't hear what she was saying, Khushi lifted her head to see what was there. Khushi felt as if she was about to cry. She looked at Meena for reassurance but she was talking. She had to be strong. Most importantly she had to look like she didn't care.
