Another Day in the life of Arnav Singh Raizada

Welcome to Director's Cut..

Last week, this time...

All of us were breathing a sigh of relief. Pre-marriage rasams with hot rabba ves.. check...remarriage.. check... Shyam was out of the house...check. Now.. we thought.. now we will get some rabba ves... now we will get some intense eyelocks... some.. major Barun/Sanaya magic... Yes! ...Arnav wanted to take Khushi to the Derby.. and... and...

Now look at us...

Nafrat Paas aaney na de... Mohabbat door Jaaney na de...

Megs thank you for giving me this opening line...

We're in love with IPK and can't get over our daily dose of the drug...

And we're not in love with IPK right now... so not in love and yet.. and yet.. we cant let go... it's pulling us back in.

Today's episode gives me hopes though so hang south and read what the DC-ites thought. Especially do not miss Redwine1's post and you will understand what I mean.

But wait... We've had a plethora of spoilers, rumors, speculations, fantasies about the new entrants.. so I thought we should something different today. We should play a game. It's called

THE SPOILER GAME

The rules are simple

Make up a spoiler... the whackier the better. You can do what you like.. Let your imagination run free... So here are some of mine...

Mamaji comes home with another woman. Mami is distressed as Mamaji tells her this is actually Shyam's sister and he has married her.. So now, Shyam's Di ki Saut is Mamiji...! What will Mamiji do?
The police call ASR over. Shyam has been admitted to the hospital. They have finally found out why he has those facial twitches. It is because Shyam suffers from epilepsy.. All those times, he was actually suffering! Will Anjali have a breakdown and run to his bedside in the hospital
Laxmiji was kidnapped by Lallan and co. All this while they have been blackmailing Nani - this is why she is so often going to satsang... she is actually making sure that Laxmiji is safe.. but HP unfortunately overhears her convo with Lallan and decides to take matters into this own hands.
ASR was growing his hair because, he wanted to look like he did in college. Unfortunately , that day in the market, he got lice as did Khushi. That's why her (BD's) hair was all tousled in the garden. And then, Sheetal got lice too. ASR shaved and cut his hair.. but will Sheetal forgive Khushi for giving her lice?
Chotey ASR goes to school next day. There he is telling about his adventures with the mad woman to his friends - actually one friend. A little girl comes up to listen to him. She is wearing a churidar kurta with gotas and has long black hair. She tells him that if she were there she would have beat up the goondas too. Chotey ASR is shocked! Who is this? She tells him her name is NKG (Nanhi Khushi Gupta)... Is this Khushi's daughter from her previous boyfriend that she abandoned five years ago - when she was only .. .ulp! 18 years? Chotey's Chotey and Nanhi Khushi will have an intense rabba vey moment.
NK has a hidden agenda. He actually is the real villain of the piece. He has now gained the full trust of Arnav and Khushi. Now will begin his master plans of splitting the pair up. See he is actually Shyam's sister's son by Mami's sister's husband. And he wants his share of the Raizada wealth, and only way to do that is ...?
Akash and Payal have decided to move to London to handle the long-forgotten project that ASR was going to London for. They will remain there until ASR comes back to work, as Akash is tired of running the company while ASR chases Bhabi around the house - living room, kitchen, bedroom, poolside.. you name it, there they are.. him chasing her.. mamaji ne satya vachan diya tha - isko dekho.. bibi ke peechey peechey bhagat hai...

WHAT?!! You guys thought I had no sense of humor??!! Hain??!!

am going to start with Points to Ponder tonite .. :

An old college mate of Arnav .. whose son bears close resemblance of stance & behaviour to Arnav .. & goes by the name Aarav .. were introduced tonite ..
The mother .. who goes by the name Sheetal .. was ofcourse "hyper" in knowing that .. her son was a part of the kidnapping attempt ..
The child is unnaturally mature .. & calm ... for his age ..
The lady in question ( sheetal) .. makes a subtle balk at the idea that Arnav was married ..
Arnav was nonchalant about the lady friend having a kid (quite a big kid at that in age) .. cause if the lady in question was a college friend then she wud be same age as arnav .. which is 28 .. & her kid looks to be about .. 8 - 9 years old ..
... ok cudnt resist this one .. Arnav is gud with kids .. 😉

ok i am sure .. all these thots are now running rampant in each ones minds .. oh yea much before "sheetal" was introduced .. in the act .. the whole idea of a Madhura NaiK coming on to screen was titillating enough .. hmmm .. so guys .. since u know my stance on predictions .. will not reveal the plot .. but .. wud just say a simple .. hang in there guys .. not as simple as putting bullet points out .. remember this is IPK .. everything is layered .. so is this track ..

After a long time .. probably since Shyam exposure .. has a scene in IPk touched me so much .. the brilliance of the writer .. the brilliance of the thot .. left me gasping .. yes this was the reason we all were with IPK .. deep .. poignant .. layered ... & incredibly romantic .. who says .. romance is counted .. in Rabba ve's only .. in IPK .. tonite .. love was recreated .. i hope ... u guys rewatch this scene .. & for a moment .. forget the Body doubles .. just bask in the thot ...

so guys a pause release of the Rose Garden scene tonite .. for u ..

scene 1:

Arnav has taken Khushi to the Rose garden . Arnav wants to speak to Khushi but she doesn't want to listen. He tells her he cud force her to make her listen and there is no one around. Khushi states if he does she wont speak to him, he challenges her that she cant keep quiet for more then 5 minutes. She accepts the challenge

Khushi looses and states that she cant keep quiet and she states that it seems like there is no one else in the world but her. Arnav holds her and quiets her. He puts his head down in front of her, she tells him he doesn't need to do that, and he states that he can because its her and she deserves it. He tells her she is mad, Khushi asks if that's why he is doing it, he explains there is no one like her and her selfless behaviour, he knows she is so much better then him and special. They have a rabba ve moment and he bows to her again, she stops him and shakes her head and hugs him, she tells him its strange he said all this and she didn't reply and tells him that he shouldn't say filmy dialogue its doesn't suit him. Arnav apologises for his behaviour but Khushi lets it go, she promises she will not go that easily and will be with him. Arnav tells her to call the police next time and they hug.

pause here please ...

This scene is precursored with an angry khushi .. who is not listening to anything from Arnav .. she was in no mood to let her anger go .. she was in no mood to submit to arnav .. she was in no mood to BEND in front of him .. BEND to his will .. he says that to her in the kitchen scene ...

" jab mein tumhara haath pakad ke 2 minute tumhare aankhon mein aankhen daalke dekta hoon .. toh tum nihatti ho jaati ho .. yea .. totally disarmed"

she quickly closes her eyes .. yea she knows she is vulnerable .. but .. she was in no MOOD TO ACCEPT .. how vulnerable she is to him .. she was in no mood to BEND to his will ..

So he gags her .. blindfolds her .. & takes her to the one Spot .. where .. he is most vulnerable .. he takes her to Rose Garden .. the place .. where the man Arnav singh raizada .. is the little boy .. called "chotte" .. yea the place .. where he has no pretence .. no boundaries .. no outerwalls .. no enclosures .. he is just .. the man .. the man .. who is vulnerable in love .. the man who is madly & unconditionally in love ...

they have a bit of a tussle .. where she tells him .. she will keep quiet .. as she doesnt wish to speak to him .. he challenges her to 5 minutes of quiet time .. .. finally .. this episode marked the return of "challenge" .. yes for me their love is all about the challenge .. no challenge .. no FUN .. so the juice was definitely back .. also .. loved the continuity .. the "seat belt" command .. made my heart sing ... whoa guys we are back ..

Khushi ofcourse cant keep quiet .. so she looses the challenge ... but but but .. when has she ever lost a challenge to ASR ... does he let her loose ?? nope .. ( except the daudti chali aaogi meri bahaon mein) .. he makes her win this one as well ... ... the winner bows his head . in front of the looser there by .. declaring himself .. "totally disarmed" in front of her ...

she is shocked seeing him bow in front of her .. he tells her .. "bowing my head in front of u .. is a MUST .. a NEED " ... the arnav singh raizada .who had never bowed infront of anyone .. today .. bowed his head in front of her .. the man who had supreme arrogance .. the man .. who in his arrogance .. had nearly ruined her life .. today gave her no less than his COMPLETE SURRENDER ..

now pls pause here .. & listen to his dialogues .. he says ..

selflessness

courage

the passion to help others

ur values

did u think he was talking about the kidnapping tonite .. nope .. this is what she has .. done for him .. her love for him is totally selfless .. it started with selfless ness ... their ... love story started on the backdrop of .. her sacrifice .. she had always shown courage the courage of her being right .. & she fought for that .. her passion to help others .. this for him has been in evidence from episode 3 .. when she ran to give him .. his "mannat ki chaabi " & ever since .. she has been helping .. him & all around him .. her values .. her values is what sums up KHUSHI .. in a time .. where .. morals .. & righteousness is passe .. she outshines with her purity .. tonite .. arnav singh raizada bowed to the woman .. the COMPLETE WOMAN .. KHUSHI .. who incidentally completes him ..

a famous movie had a dialogue ..

"yeh sir .. sirf 3 auraton ke saamne jhukta hai .. maa .. devi maa .. aur .. "

tonite .. we saw its enactment on IPK .. but arnav style ..

Arnav the atheist .. does not beleive in Devi maa ..

but he believes in his maa ... & his khushi .. the 2 woman .. who have given him "unconditional love"

so he takes her to the "rose garden" the place he feels closest to his mom ..

& tells the woman in his life .. i bow my head .. to u ...

tonite arnav singh raizada .. put Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada ... on the ULTIMATE PEDESTAL ... he .. put her next to his MOM ...

Gautam hegde ... u have penned a fav scene of mine on TV .. tonite .. u have once again penned another fav scene of mine on TV .. yes this ranks up there for me .. incredibly deep thot .. incredibly simple thot .. incredibly romantic thot .. to me THIS IS ROMANCE .. & gul & nissar .. excel at this ..

To the directors of the show .. guys welcome back .. to pull off an episode .. with such deep meanings .. an episode which just had the leads .. & when .. u did not have the leads on sets together ..is a brilliant feat .. i for one ... blanked out the use of BDs .. so that i may simply enjoy the incredible piece of script writing tonite ..

After watching yesterday's episode... As you all know... I was left speechless ! I just didn't know what to say... on DC, on the forum... everywhere people were just ranting and ranting about how the show is over and how they have finished off the show, and with that our obsession with the show !!!

I, frankly, had nothing to say ! All I could think of was... after watching this... no... after obsessing about this show for one and a half years... watching repeats, watching VMs, reading fictions about these 2 characters, hell... writing fiction about them 2... they... the CVs give us this... Ab Kya Bolun Main??? was literally the only thought running in my mind... Last 1.5 yrs... total waste, if this is what it has come to !

As a fan, I am one of the loyal ones... who has not missed a single episode till date ! Started watching it sometime in Sept/Oct last year... and then went back and saw it from the beginning, thanks to all those blessed souls who upload the videos for us deprived ones... who could never get enough of Arnav and Khushi and their never ending nafrat and mohabbat bhari love story !

So, today... although I was not expecting much from the episode... as the story seemed going the cliched way... I still could not keep myself away from the TV screen, the moment the clock turned 8 !

Today marked the beginning of a new track... a track of love... respect and blind faith in each other ! Yes, I know you would argue, it has always been there... but a chapter was closed yesterday (not in literal sense) when they got married... in love... and united as husband and wife... becoming one... completing each other ! Whether they did on the bachelor's night, or his birthday night is a topic of heated debate still between me and my friends... but, anyway, the point is they have become man and woman in all possible ways... and now a new life awaits...

Today's episode, although was full of Body Doubles which was highly irritating (to say the least)... had a lot of content in it ! Ruby has explained most of it above... so I will not go on explaining more... I was not even writing tonight... because I didn't know what to write... I was too put off by the glaring BD's but then had a long chat with my friends... Ruby specially... who, like always, made me see the layers beneath the surface which made me re-watch the episode with a different perspective... of course, not to mention... when I read Ruby's Pause Release posts... I don't have to watch the episodes... I visualize the scene in front of my eyes... and voila... it's Barun and Sanaya portraying ASR and KSR... not their Body Doubles... the uncombed one and the taut one !

So, this post is to thank you my friends... Ruby (Kumbh ke Mele mein... my long lost sister), Beena (My Mirror), Madhu (the Voice of Reason) & Megha (our Backbone) ... to make me see the right way... and to calm me down when the tides are high and IPK is low !

Coming back to Arnav and Khushi and their love story... Their love has been the love of challenge between them... if one is in even a wee bit of danger... the other person loses his/her breath... saansein ruk jayengi moment... probably what Arnav felt yesterday seeing Khushi drive.. and probably why he scolded her way too much, 'cos of his fear of losing her ! What if she harmed herself... what if something happened to her... what if he lost her !

He knows how important she is to him... and he knows what a gem of a person she is... and he acknowledges that she is a better human being than him... and that's why The Mighty Arnav Singh Raizada bows down to her ! Although lifted from a movie... the scene still carried a lot of emotions for me... as an ASR fan !

There's a song that I loved... and it fits perfectly for Arnav Singh Raizada and his Love for his Khushi... hope you enjoy !

Some pointers from me today -

- Glad IPK is back... a very meaningful episode, the moment fandom thinks all is lost bang comes one of the good episodes making the fandom think if past days has been a dream.

- That's why I feel the tag like "Nafrat paas aane na de, Mohabbat door jaane na de" suits us the viewers best than Arnav & Khushi.

- Arnav & Khushi moved to the next level in their relationship today.

- Both know each other too well how to pacify each other & knows whats running in their mind & heart in an instant. Their souls are entwined...they know each others fears & help each other to overcome together.

- Khushi who uses her constant chatter to keep away her loneliness, fear - today stood silent before her husband & Arnav who uses his silence as a cloak of invisibility to keep other ppl at an arms length...today opened more of his thoughts & his heart to his wife.

- Khushi always & I mean always listens to Arnav's command & trusts him explicitly be it during the HATE marriage track when he asked her not to utter a word until they reach home during temple scene of phag phere or be it now when he asks her not to open the blind fold which she could have removed as her hands were free.

- 2 very important thoughts, promises were done today :

Arnav bowing down to her in front of his mother (the Rose garden - where he is closest to his mom) & explaining her the reason for this & the extent of his LOVE for her.

Khushi promising, re-assuring that she will not leave him & go anywhere so soon... be it Up, down, left, right.

- Whenever there is a nearing of a storm or storm clouds brewing we see a unique way in which Arnav & Khushi re-affirm their vows promise each other a new thing... last time before the past was revealed it was the TRUST & LOVE & this time it is BLIND FAITH & promise of NOT LEAVING each other - Is this also the same promise for new track? do we hear thunder storms 😉

- 2 important weakness were explored :

Khushi cant resist Arnav when he touches or looks into her eyes - she melts, she cant ignore him.

Arnav cant resist her ignorance & her silence or when she is sad/hurt which has always been there.

- Again this would have been a land mark episode if BD's were not so obvious. But again... content was great.

Hope its not too soon to say IPK is back... looking forward to such great episodes.

Thanks Paayal for helping & adding few off her pointers as well.

just a note from myside...

i have made fun of so many episodes.. found so many bloopers .. even the miniscule ones..
but at the end of the day.. i loved my ipk... as much as any of the u guys.. i always waited for updates.. spoilers and hints..
the first thing i did on a wednesday is check the trp.. and congratulate my fellow ipk addicts...

i love arnav khushi shyam payal nani mami dadi even anjali and all the hps ops and jps...
i even loved the extras and sat through different shows by the same PH so that i can see the extras and recognise the set...
i even cheered for lallan when he appeared in a 5seconds role in ek tha tiger

i watch all the sbs.. sbb.. vms.. have downloaded all the episodes..
which i was planning to make a cd of..😭

though i rant a lot.. i loved this show so much... 🥺

but today was asking myself.. why dont i, have the courage to turn off the tv...
why?

i am sorry i really hate writing a negative post on dc... bec we believe in positivity..
but for me arshi = sarun..
i am very bad at dealing with body doubles.. i just cant take it...

i am still hopeful that we might bounce back... i ve sent vamp on holiday till then...

The Tale Of beauty and beast was so poignant because beast bowed in front of beauty for her kindness and the values that she represented..But on the other side the beast loved beauty more than any one in this world as she embraced him as he is,embraced his solitude giving him joy..seems like the tale of Arnav and Khushi .isnt it?

Today,Arnav singh Raizada Bowed in front Of his wife..a no mean feat achieved by Khushi ..Beauty Cries in the end and promises to marry the beast to prevent him from dying..That Is what happened to ASR.The arnav inside was on the brink of death if not for Khushi..IIt is said search for a perfect rose lead beauty to the beast and here Khushi came to Arnav for a shoulder to lean on ..a person to be called her own but didn't realise that It was ASR who DM had chosen for her just like beauty couldn't correlate the dreams of a prince she had with the beast in front of her..That Part of the story is over and the marriage of Beauty and Beast turned prince has taken place..so what did this prince do now?he grew roses . that too perfect ones so that Beauty is not in want of roses,,that she does not leave him..The fear Of Beauty or khushi leaving ASR or the prince fills him with dread..that is what spurs the anger inside..he asks her not to leave his garden as he has grown all her requirements in the garden itself..but whenever beauty wanted to visit her parents and sisters,the prince used to feel upset at the thought of not having beauty even for a short duration...Beautiful. isnt it?,

khushi today understood that the thought of losing her spurs Asr in to his angry avatar... Asr realises that without the innate qualities like selflessness and love,the khushi he loves,the khushi who irritates him,the khushi who infuriates him and the khushi who helps without expecting anything in return,would die leaving an empty shell behind..The moment he realises this he tries explain his stance but sanka devi is upset like beauty about not being understood..so ASr decides to bare it all to Khushi in front of his mom(,the rose garden )according khushi equal status to his mom in his heart..ASr does love Khushi but today was his ultimate surrender..today she stands at par with his mom that too the cake,,the pinnacle of romance i would say..The prince finally understood that though losing her is a nightmare.her motives are what made him fall in love with her and he bows to her for the person she is like he bowed to the mother who taught him human values..

One more Reason i loved today's episode was because of the return of dare that is bulwark of Arnav and Khushi relationship..the way he says that their eyelock is enough to disarm her and Khushi trying to close her eyes was fun to watch..The gauntlet he threw in front of her about maintaining silence was another trademark IPK..challenges and goads are the building blocks of this relationship without which their true feelings are not expressed... with Glee, i watched the return of instruction manual of ASR about the seat belt and not to call him Laad governer which was vintage IPK..The Family's inputs to solve their troubles without knowing the cause for their strife was also Vintage IPk..

"WOH" in the Paradise of the love birds????????????????

Really????????????was the kid and sheetal the "woh" in the life of ASR..lets us think on some of the points i am going to state, before all of you come to a conclusion..firstly,The age of the kid and arnav's reaction to his friend being the mother of that Kid..secondly,Sheetal's expression change once she is introduced to Khushi as arnvav's wife..thirdly,the boy's identical qualities with Arnav...this in itself tells us a story but this is IPK boss..so Kuch bhi hosaktha hain yahan😛..Sorry boss ,cant't write more on this otherwise it would be an injustice to the writer..

no complaints with CVs today, except:

1. can you atleast comb Khushi's BDz hair...I know dealing with ASR is hair raising experience but still...

2. can ASRz BD be asked to relax...his joints must be in terrible pain...

todays epi was worst then yesterday !!!!!!

who is the one who take their dates morons dont knw when the actor is taking off ! y cant they adjust bds in otts and crap ?

such a superb epi allruined ... pissed

are we doomed or wht?

every day we r hit with a new rumor ?

then our tracks r not good

we itch to see good episodes

and when we get it

we get to see them with BD'S?

y did I even start watching this show? I really dont understand my own self !!!!! maybe im demanding too much ! a good track some romance with proper leads ! SIgh !

That same Arnav Singh Raizada, who had called his wife characterless, who had always accused her of being a gold digger, and who had always insulted her at every step, bowed his head down in front of her. Something he has never done in front of anyone before today. He did this today, because he felt that she is a bigger person than him. He told her today that there is no other person like her, that she is special, courageous, and has an exemplary upbringing. He respects her for the person she is, for the woman who she is.

This is really huge, coming from Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada. For we know that he is a self-made man, upright and an honest man. It takes a lot for a man like Arnav Singh Raizada to respect someone. We knew that he loves Khushi, that he cannot live without her. But today he gave all of himself to her. He surrendered before her completely. I really really loved this little exchange between them.

It takes a special woman to win the heart of a special man like Arnav Singh Raizada. Today, they showed us yet another facet of their relationship that we hadn't seen before.

My favorite moment today was in the kitchen when he told her that all he has to do is hold her hand and look deeply into her eyes, and she is completely disarmed in front of him. Total drool worthy moment! SO sexy, and so adorable! The guy knows how much of an effect he has on his wife.

And I kept humming that one line again and again - "She acts like a child but she's always a woman to me".

I loved the episode, as is evident from my analysis. No BDs could spoil the beauty of the episode for me today. The emotions were deeper, and even more meaningful than before. I loved the entire essence of this beautiful episode.
