If you want to understand Khushi, then you'd have to go to the depth of the issue: Understanding the show, which to me is impossible. They have Khushi the child, the mature adult, the FBI, the vixen, what have you and they flip it all for another reason.

The biggest problem with the show, hence characterization of not only Khushi, but ASR, Di and Shyam is ITs writing and very inconsistent one at that!

The marriage track was useless, as it come after the sex (which itself came after the 6mth contract. so why didnt Khushi have sex when ASR first wanted to?) and exercised redundancy as it revealed the past, ASR didnt give a f**k about.

The woman, who fights kidnappers/criminals goes psycho SP wife-to-be who cant live without her husband.

Understanding the said husband is even worse!

So my point? I dont understand anyone, least of this show, where the characters, story are a victim of sensationalism and bullshit writing.

Well said you echo my feelings to the core...
Each character is inconsistent...

Khushi's conviction and firm belief in her morals and values, while not taking shit from anyone (namely ASR) was a huge draw and relatable factor for me. The martyr bit that they built in and which has eventually come to dominate her character has been such a blow, since she wasn't depicted as being so self-sacrificing at the beginning. And, nobody is that selfless. It's total bullshit.

Honestly, the entire bachelor party epi just makes no sense. Why was it just the 3 guys? How did A and K sneak back into their homes without any questions? It really seems more like this is something the families were implicitly encouraging. Them having sex right before their pheras was incredibly hard to digest. For a girl like K, that's a HUGE thing to do...the only explanation is like Tangy said, her convictions and outlook changed. This isn't a bad thing, considering K also would've never agreed to a live-in ever, but that's essentially what their first shaadi was (minus them actually doing anything about it).

The only real explanation I can come up with is that in their own eyes, they are married and always have been; the pomp and all was just to appease any potential finger-pointing in the future. Personally, I used to be of the opinion that I couldn't even fathom how anyone could ever let their guard so far down that they would compromise their morals so much. But then again, humans are weak in the face of temptation and it seems here that K's definition of marriage finally coincided with A's.

Tiya-ji! What can RC say to that? Other than. ILoveYouDamnIt and other such fangirly exclamations?

To me all the characters of IPK is effed up on some level. But the question is why do we keep coming back it? I think that is the only real question.

Everything else is a arbitary.

Ha Tiyu what a sum up...
in all the burning embers...id say that SHyamu gets the prize...his charactor actually did have escalation and some realism to it...
and yes the whole build up to the past..other than injecting a very good actress as Daadi...there was not point to it...
and Sashi in the chair...
the point of Khushi being an orphan?????
as i am made to believe the PH only introduces the concept..and intial write up and then the channel wangles the writers ..who seem to write off a template...
the same thread seems to run through all of the story lines...
the madonna like woman who bears all trials and tribulations with wit strength and prayer...limited education and underplayed education...lack of western influence...triumphs over all...misguded main man...intrinsicly good family values but temperarily gone wrong with wester influence who is in need for the madonna to come and cleance him...
now that we have bee thru all of it and done that ...all we need to see is the next venture when Madona becomes the virgin mother...

No you may not. What can possibly be more important than talking about highly dysfunctional characters on a ship wreck of a show with a bunch of people on the Internet ME ji?

I'll tell you. Nothing!

The thing that hurt me the most was that there was no Aman in the stag party. Sob.

Jokes apart.

Yes I do find it difficult to comprehend why such a high moral stance was put in jeopardy exactly a day before their marriage.

But CK is right ofc. Sometime hormones and weakness make us fall and perhaps KKG did a revelation of sorts.

Again another instance where a woman forgoes her morals for a man in need. (In retrospect that's how it seems. )

Sigh.

if it is from wht i said...i meant it as the cv's way of having a emotionally heart string pulling type FB to flash..(see they repeated just that clip a thousand times)...
life is such that many a times with new knowledge one modifies their old convictions...and that is what i saw in khushi that night in the dialogue...
as far as i see it...i think the whole farmhouse thing was sweet...and kudos for the less contrived...and yet he did have a whit lambs wool thingie on the floor with a projector loading the sky and stars...
all this on stag nite makes one think...
coming to what they r showing right now...i dont get it...its a luv story...they have after many trials finally found each other...or have they????

I know right! 😕 Arnie boy was finally thinking like a guy, although it's not like he didn't plan out getting laid before either. 😆 It was incredibly simple and not cringingly filmy, so good on the CVs for that.

Now, why the eff are they not acting like newlyweds??
