Oh Khushi
Khushi is as complex as the show itself. There is a lot said here and to some extent I agree with most of it.But for me if I really have to write and think about her, then this is what I have to say.Khushi's a girl forced into growing up not by choice but by chance/circumstances.It almost feels like she missed out on a few childhood years because god took her parents away and for some time she forced herself to believe they would be back. When she grew trying to learn the worldly ways of marriage, money and life, she was driven out of her hometown away from her parents and put into sadi DILLI, and forced into getting a job to support her family, did she want to work? did she want to study further? did she want to take up dancing? no one would ever find out. (Losing another phase of growing up and wanting to become something)When she had her first crush and she kind of understood what attraction and eyelocks meant she was forced into an engagement. (Again a chapter of life closed on her)When she let things pass and didn't let betrayals get the best of her, her first love was back and made her feel like a woman again. Just when she thought she knew what love meant BAM! Forced into a wedding. ( Loss of Love and faith)When she got her life back on track and learnt that the man she was fighting for was the one who truly loved her back she got a hurdles. ( A fight she won but along with hardships)So somewhere the loss of those years and her immaturity pops in reviving things she missed out on.She doesn't know things but she understands. If someone explains to her and validates then Khushi is good to go.Ab itna samjhe ya aur samjhaoon?
I love it when Menty makes me fall in love with Khushi all over again
