But there was no need to drag Khushi's name through the mud! She always does for others. For once I would like to see one member of that family stand up for her. She has bent over backwards for Anjali, to the point where she was going to leave Arnav because of Anjali's pain. The minute she walked into the house after Remarriage she has been on a mission to help Anjali!

So please don't say "it wasn't about Khushi". Without Khushi everyone in that family would still be worshiping that creep.

when I say it wasnt about Khushi

I mean her honour was not in any danger

The family already trusts her

they already know what shyam is

his saying anything abt khushi will not change their opinion of her

it will reinforce their opinion of shyam

he is a raving lunatic

he proved that again today

anjali could see that

what would they achieve by arguing with an insane man, who spews lies dime a dozen

let him spit venom

let anji see what he is

then throw him out

that was point 1

point 2 defend to who?

Anji, nani, payal have all declared how important khushi is to them

they re not going to get swayed by shyam's words

to defend khushi to who - shyam?

the man doesnt even deserve an answer

Arnav and family were right in not even getting into a conversation with the creep

Exactly my point..and there is a third point..that you can not trust Anjali to be sensible..the way she was walking away teary eyes and weak I was fearing another fainting session..I would have loved to see anger on her face than grief..I would have loved to see her drag Shyam out of the house..Why does Khushi and Arnav always need to support her..Even today I thought they could have given her more hard hitting dialogues than tears..anyway I agree Khushi has the love and support of the entire family..it was very clear he was not in his senses and talking crap after the self confession..so no point arguing with a madman..Arnav did what was best ..give him to the police..

Well, excuse me?

Since when do women need a man to protect/defend their honour?

I as a women am totally capable of standing up for myself and dont need a man to do that! Thanks, but no thanks.

It is not about the "need"! Its to do with what the right thing is! Whose words carry weight in RM? Khushi's or Arnav's? When you are in your in laws house, obviously having your husband defend your honor/dignity/right/respect... goes a long way in establishing your place in the household; at least in joint families in India. When you don't even have your huband in your corner, how can you survive a lifetime there?

Arnav is NOT a gentleman and no self respecting woman would touch him with a barge pole!

I agree with Serious. Grow up dear asr2kkg. no offence but seriously it is high time. Besides Practical life is v diff. A person cannot act perfect all the time thats why it is said that human is to err..Once you enter in practical life than you understand that ideals don't exist but only in imagination so...

Totally agree with you here. As usual CVs have degraded Khushi's character and shown ASR as spineless when it comes to his wife. Its always DI which is imp the rest can go to hell. Even my 15 and 11yr old girls reacted strongly to the way khushi was again maligned and ASR was mute. So those who claim that ASR could not do anything as his nsi was crying bla bla but let me ask them When doesn't rudali cries? She and her tears are always more heartwrenching than Khushi's physical, emotional and character degradation, right???
Shame on such thinkers and even bigger shame on writers who keep doing this to Khushi's character. Its getting intolerable now!!

Aranv has defended Khushi as the man of the house when it was needed and when it really mattered in front of Dadi, the office employee...

Even Nani defended Khushi in front of Dadi and Mami also...

Today there was no need for him to defend Khushi as apart from Anjali everybody in RM knows Snakes true colors and what a lowlife he is...

Also just because Snake called her characterless does not mean she becomes characterless...
