and in the first place, why should he give a statement - explain me ? does any other actor goes around the town answering all news and rumours ???

I so agree with you.its his career and he has all the right to choose what he wants.I love him as ASR but more than the character i love the man who put life to the character any sensible person will know wat this PH is upto.thanks for this much needed post.

I may be wrong but I have come to understand that shelf life of a TV actor is not very long. So if Barun Sobti is getting a worthwhile offer to change into something different, why not?

With this role, he has become very visible and if he finds these opportunities it would be foolish not to take a chance.

As far as IPK is concerned, if makers have a good product (good story, script, direction etc), why should they worry about Barun penning it or not. Makers perhaps are not confident of their product and want to ride on actor's back.

Personal opinion - if I were the actor, I would certainly want to look at the other opportunities and if I find one, I will take it. This serial is not going to last forever. Who know which way it will go? whether it will go downhill as it has been going for past 5-6 months or will it improve. Makers are too erratic to take a call on that.

Though I am not too sure about doing both.

Thank you so much for writing this post. I've noticed over the past two weeks that a lot of different stories/rumours have been circulating regarding Barun leaving and then staying. We're getting so many conflicting stories that no one knows what to believe anymore, thus causing this panic among fans. These multiple stories absolutely make no sense as one day you hear someone has signed a one year contract and the next day, you hear they're only staying for two months but then you're going with them to London to promote the show. What on earth is going on???

I have no idea what could be going on between the actors-PH-and channel but all this confusion needs to be cleared up soon. This confusion isn't good for IPK.

I think we should give the PH some time to sort this all out. It looks like they're playing catch up and trying to fix what happened with the Zee News thing. For now, the board should take a deep breath and calm down. Until we get an official interview of Barun or an official statement from him regarding his status on the show, we shouldn't over react.

Remember one thing: "Don't believe everything you read"

4 Loonies, for the love of God, speak up! Either back the lead actor and the channel up, or go against their statements. But do something dammit!

thats wat its only and only the responsibilty of the PH to answer the stand - their ridiculous admin makes a post and washes away his hand !!!!

You knw what even if the spiler givers are true, this is not the first time we are seening actors quitting rajeev Khandelwal , Sushant quit from ekta camp, did Ekta hide?? With Sushant , Ekta even let us know who is replacing him as Manav , their was nothing hidden .

What is topping this PH to give it a statement?? Either say YES he is or say NO!!
Its not SP who created the mess, its not the actor Barun who created the mess , its the production house, own up now dammit!!

And you know what they have created this mess purposely..they even dont know the spelling of the word 'professionalism' ,,who releases this news when negotiations are on...cant they wait until everythign is settled down and then make an announcement.

Trin this PH def doesnt deserve nice people...somebody like Daljeet are best suited for them ..see how she went and smartly gave the news to media and then started negotiating.
