"Di, what could I possibly add when you've given us such insight to how exactly the agni pariksha will be passed!? "the garden fought back and stanched the rush of venom"--this one line pretty much encapsulates the "answers" to the test. The impetus for thinking through all those moments we saw in the FB and which you so vividly described (best summary of all of those precious "pearls", IMO!👏)

Where, despite that venom cursing through his veins, he dares to find THE ONLY antidote to fight it! I just loved how you juxtaposed that resilient bahu against her venom spewing matriarch! How can a woman who taught her darling boy such cherished lessons ever be "kamzor"? When the garden stops the venom from causing its intended harm, who will be the weak one then? Who will have the last laugh? Can't wait to find out...😃

Di, I do not pay attention to the noise re. actors or the PH. I had given my 2 cents re. DB a long time ago, and now I regret it...But I so agree with every word you've said about the "politics" of this forum and the distractions taking away from this brilliant juncture in the story!! I am tunnel visioned these days when it comes to the forum...I only stick to this space!!"

anjali,

you see things in what i write that sometimes i can't see. my shatir shatir friend. however weird the writing might have become, we are at a breathtaking place in the story. i am also getting tunnel visioned. i managed to stay away from the forum pretty well, it was a friend's smses that rattled me. what is it that we expect of actors of a show? gah, never mind. tunnel is here and there is light at the end of it. milte hain chalte chalte aaj raat ke episode ke baad. and a huge 🤗 for everything. whatever barun might or might not have achieved, he opened up this fascinating world to me. take care.

i am excited about tonight.

Hey Priya and all crooner buddies..
As always your crooner are pleasure read..loved your write up especially the way you took metaphor of rose in yesterday's episode ..I really found that interesting and very beautiful way of describing things...I usually dont go into symbolism things...but red roses are something that we relate with love too..😳..Just love how you took us to all wonderful crooners too which I too remember... Indeed he had to come friends... as his character is a "Just" one and more than that I dont know why I remembered last night your crooner words- He is not a malik but a raizada...
Loved your post...😊
Have a nice day friends...will be back to this place later🤗

"...he has always been possessive and very close to his mother. A simple prick by a thorn made him react so violently so can you imagine what impact her death has on him. If he has mustered courage to go back to the wedding hall where Garima is, then it is only for Khushi, her faith in him, her love for him."
Love you for these words .. explains a lot for many confused souls. 😊
That slap was really so uncalled for .. what was buaji trying to do? Bring her out of trance .. or something?? 😕

Thanks Farha😊. I think people got confused with his last statement...he is yet to complete his sentence but the fact that there was no precap added to the pain😆.

For a second I thought Arnav would roar the minute Buaji raised her hand on Khushi. it was not needed IMO...Khushi became all the more adamant after that slap.

The way you described Daadi .. amazing! 👏 I almost shivered as I gupled down the effect of those words .. almost feeling the hatred running through my veins. "the garden fought back and stanched the rush of venom." .. There goes Daadi & her venom .. the true reptile.
Mothers - tending to their plants - teaching ethics of life through daily occurence. Beautifully put.

"she's falling into his arms in the same place where he lost his mother" .. I am surprised I never noticed it this way. I have always said she just fell from heaven on his arms .. and after reading you, it just makes more sense. 😊
A beautiful take .. what did he mean, what did he not .. keeps us waiting for him back on screen in 4 and a half hours more. 😊

@priya, first of all sorry for reserving and not updating. I opened with the honest intention of updating but my brain which is still drunk from yesterday's episode got a huge dose of forum hysteria 😡 and now am too anxious, too excited and my brain too cluttered to make a post of any sense!😒

you write so beautifully and today, the past connections to all the earlier crooners...all the discussions that I have followed here even before i started writing here.. it made me very emotional and affectionate both for crooner and for the serial...for me, the two have merged into one. I have found such mindblowing creativity and excellent writing here and this space is so cozy and comfortable.. please don't stop writing and deny us poor souls this space!!!!

The rose and thorn was especially heartwrenching. How much ever a mother teaches a son to not hurt the rose when the thorn is the culprit, no mother can hide the cruel fact from her son that every rose comes with a thorn. And if a mother does not tell this to her son, life will teach him this harsh lesson. For Arnav Singh Raizada, his rose is his thorn and his thorn is his rose. But he is no ordinary gardener. His mother knows; Khushi knows. It is only he who ought to know this truth. And if those flashbacks are any indication, the truth is within him. Reach within, Arnav!!!

Yesterday, I was in too much of a muddle to decode the fire going out in the havan kund. But today, it feels so much like Pheonix from ashes. But will this phoenix rise completely without the crux of giving his love a choice? That is to be seen.
For me, the true rise will happen only when he takes the choice upon himself... he will reduce himself, not understand himself enough if this rise includes thrusting a choice on his beloved.

I am jittery, I am nervous, I did not need the offscreen drama early morning and I have never been so much on tenterhooks for a man to complete his sentence and get the steel out of those dark brown eyes. Let me have read him wrong. Let him have refused the touch for he has to speak before feel. Let us see the healing begin.
