But I dont want Khushi to go down to the level of the insane-zadas and punish the innocent (in this case Arnav becz he after all didn't have anything to do with his dad's two timing affairs).

If she does that there wont be any difference between her and Dadi.

I thought that's because the loss to Arnav'sfamily is huge compared to khushi's maa(garima) got cheated.

I thank you damnit for creating this post... I have been wondering the same.. that why is everything depended on ASR's decision...Why do we need ASR to prove/ Decide that khushi and/ garima have a good character...

Khushi has two good reasons not to marry ASR...

Shyam and Arnav's father... both the same... Actually Arnav's father is the culprit. And ofcourse the blinded dadi.

I agree with you. I am not for Khushi simply punishing an innocent Arnav here as he was and is not responsible of his father's deeds. But can be done in case he decides to accuse Khushi despite this whole scenario not being her fault at all (like how Mami had accused both Khushi and Payal for the past deeds of Garima). Knowing Khushi, she probably will not sink down to this level - she is not like Dadi.

I can understand why he would react such a way as this all such a huge shock for him but taking it out on Khushi will not be the right thing to do. I am really hoping that the whole truth is investigated from all angles before a decision is made regarding the separation/ ending the marriage.

Arnav's dad cheated Garima. Ok, but so did Shyam with Khushi. But Garima and co. still decided to face Shyam, and in that one episode Garima even let Shyam help her find Shashi's medicine.

I would say that the case with Arnav is a bit more serious. He is a angry and hurt man today, because he lost his parents. His parents' death has effected him very strongly.

Not belittling Arnav's pain and grief... yes, Arnav lost his parents esp his mom, his childhood and faced a lot of problems because of that incident. And even if he doesn't hold Garima responsible for all that, he might still need some time to process everything and deal with it and he might get reminded of the tragedy because of Garima.

What I meant was that Garima too was a victim in that incident since it was Mr Mallik who cheated her. And even though she is Khushi's adopted mother, Khushi obviously loves her a lot and this is a big deal to her as well... that Arnav's dad had been the one to cheat her mother and now this is being used by daadi to humiliate her mother. So Khushi too can be angry and hurt to hear that Arnav's dad was responsible for a tragedy in her mother's life... just like Arnav is angry and hurt to learn that Khushi's mom was responsible for the tragedy in his life.

Whether Arnav's case is more serious or not... hmm, maybe it is. But I was just trying to look at the other side of the coin as well...

Reg the Shyam issue... That is a good point you raised!! Garima knows what it is to be cheated and if anything, she should be reminded of that incident when she sees Shyam and she should be angered by Shyam's presence instead of calmly taking medicines from him, etc!! It is quite illogical how Garima, and more importantly Khushi are not bothered by Shyam...

I agree.. even though Khushi has a reason for walking out because her mother is getting blamed for no reason... yet the CVs would show it like Khushi sacrificing for Arnav and his family's sake. And the CVs are probably going to make this all about Arnav's pain, his past and his tragedy...

Even I don't want Khushi to hold Arnav responsible for something his father had done... but it would be nice if Khushi answers daadi back by pointing out that her son def was at fault...
