Heyy Gurls, 😃

When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold,
there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth,
the full moon became like blood,

Shall we just zip up our mouth and give a Long and standing ovation to the director, Swati, Pyumori, Abhaas for an awesome episode and Brilliant Acting !! She barged into the show and became a powerful force to reckon with and today the entire episode rested on her shoulder and Boy, Did She deliver ...Not for one minute was there a moment of boredom, of restlessness as Swati kept us riveted to the screen, Our eyes glued to the TV... On the other end of the spectrum was Pyumori, The gazelle caught in the jaws of a vindictive Tigress who was enjoying toying with her, tossing her around like a raggedy Doll ..A Mother who was given the curse of witnessing the destruction of her daughter's life...Abhaas as Shyam who stood by quietly relishing the scenes as he thinks that Khushi is still single and will not be tied in any wedlock..His expression changing the instant Anjali turns towards him...The Minute change of expression was very well done ...

To me the most interesting scene was obviously this ... I was quite intrigued by the fact That Garima stood clutching her Mangal Sutr when Dadi was raining accusation at Garima, casting a slur on her character, blaming her for her Son's and Daughter in Law's death... Making her culpable in the destruction of her house ...

WHY DID GARIMA HANG ON TO THAT MANGAL SUTRA ?

There were myriad feelings and ideas running in my head at that point of time and I need to get it out here...

The AWW Moment ;

To every Pious Married Woman, Her Mangal Sutra is her armour which protects her , the Agni which keeps her purified ..When Dadi was hurling those accusation's ..Garima instinctively held on to her Mangal Sutr like a drowning Man hanging to a life raft, hoping against hope of being saved and yet knowing fully well the futility of it ... She was hanging on to that Agni knowing fully well that it will burn the unchaste and yet she was not immolated ..She remained standing like a fire herself, gaining strength from her Mangal Sutra , That Chain not allowing her to crumble as she faced the whole world with humility, with truthfulness , with Honesty..

Tant's You are loco Moment ;

A extremely bizzare and ludicrous scenario ...When Dadi begins to incriminate Garima in the affair, Garima immediately clutches on to her Mangal Sutra .. Why?? was it to stop herself from blurting the truth, the real truth .. Was she reminding herself that she needs to bite back on the truth to save some one's life , perhaps her husband's life!! The Husband who is not Shashi ... She is a woman who suddenly came into Shashi's life , Was there ever a witness to their marriage, Even Buaji mentions that U came into his life one day and began to take care of the girls ..Who then is real Garima ?? What if she is lying to protect her Husband, taking on a charge on her own head so that the culprit escapes scot free..what if Shyam's agenda is to bring out this truth so that he can further his own plan, the downfall of the Malik's and the crushing of Malik Arrogance ... Is there more to Garima than meets the eyes ??

It was a rocking emotional episode , That cannot be denied But has it advanced the story, Maybe only by a miniscule amount... Now the family knows ..Apart from that Nothing.. Can this pace be afforded now when more than the sound and fury it is the actual rain one wants ... When there is *supposedly* no drama , No suspense and when it appears that Garima is truly the Mistress of Malik and the continued hammering of it in one's throat will only induce lethargy ...Move ON !! either provide suspense factor by injecting a new variable or show the clashes between a wounded daughter and a devastated Son.

Lets move on to the episode shall we... Truly this was Dadi's day...The fire that had been burning in her bosom, The fires of hatred found its outlet today as she maliciously and gleefully set about to destroying the life of two innocent flower's in the garden ... But so intent is she on inflicting the damage that she does not even realize that in her eager bid to wreck the lives of the daughters of the guilty one, she is actually ruining the lives of her own blood , her own kith ..Lives that they had rebuilt painstakingly, arduously !!

The scene opens with Dadi announcing emphatically that the Mother of the girl whom she worships is the annihilator of his world , She is the one who brought his childhood to an end, who forced him to grow up much ahead of his time...The Young Bridegroom who was on the verge of starting a new life, of beginning with a new slate is once again thrust back to the Nightmare , A nightmare which he had felt he had left long back engulfs him completely turning him into that bewildered , lost young boy of 15 ... ,The very hand which rocked his cradle now crumbles his world ..Arnav walks back once again into the darkness, alone under the vast sky, to shed the tears of mourning, loss unseen in the pitch black Night ...

while the unstoppable Dadi gets down to real business ...The Business of Annihilation !!

Will the fires of hatred, vengeance triumph or will the fires of Love Douse it !!One a Poisonous inferno set to ignite all things it touches , The other a warm blaze that illuminates , warms and infuses life ...

BLACK SUN !! .. Marriage is considered to be an occasion where life begins in a new track, setting a new world for themselves, A sunny moment when All things are buzzing with life, joy, expectations ..One is looking towards beginning a life filled with laughter, love and blessings of elders ..Imagine an eclipse to that Happiness !! Black Sun is nothing but eclipse !! The eclipse that is obstructing their conjugal bliss ..but like all eclipse this too shall pass !!

Koeliya, Looks like Your wish will be fulfilled !! Marriage happening and FOURTH promo starts !!šŸ˜›

There is a beautiful story in Mahabharat that explains us the deep meaning of faith, devotion and love.

Draupadi was dragged into Duryodhan's castle and thrown into the middle of a packed courtyard. Here she was ridiculed and tormented by so many of the King's noblemen, and as a final insult, the brutes decided to strip Draupadi of her clothing in front of the entire audience.

Draupadi held on to her saree (a long Indian traditional dress), for as long as she could but she failed.

In sheer desperation, she remembered her Krishna, and called out his name as an absolute last resort for any kind of help. Many may wonder why I am talking about this now. This is what I remembered when I saw Khushi defending her amma. Garima was ridiculed by dadi, ripped of her character and made her defenseless and this Draupadi just stood there making her clear that she was innocent.

There Draupadi called Krishna for her help but here without her asking Khushi the Krishna for Garima stood up for her and made clear that she could not have done anything wrong. That mother who have till now has sacrificed everything for the child's happiness cannot go wrong in character. It was really a standing ovation scene. Garima infact had two Krishna's for her. Another one being Payal. Today the mother in her would have been proud that how both of them had understood her.

When he went to express his feelings for her he misunderstood her and forced her for a contract marriage. When she was willing to hear what he wanted to tell her she got his hatred in return. Now tables have turned. The bride is eagerly waiting for her groom and he was ready to get her home with all due respect but again destiny has made them face against each other. But the promise to each other and love will sure defeat the destiny but how and when we have wait and watch.

CV's i was really impressed with the episode that conveyed their is some story to expect more and it is interesting the way you are building the suspense and this is for your team for its brilliant workšŸ‘ I pray this brings the required number and get back my loved show in Top 5😃

Hi guys!!! 😊 Today's episode was the kind of episode I wait eagerly for! A good mix of drama, heightened emotions, suspense, shifting equations, and good performances never cease to entertain me! So, without wasting much more time, let's get down to the episode, shall we?

===============================================

Arnav was just like a little boy all over again. He loved his mother, was purely devoted to her, thought the world of her, and then she was just no more. To him, his mother's death was the fault of his father and the other woman. His mother had not heard the complete truth, like Arnav, she believed in what she saw, like Arnav she might have misunderstood what she saw. Arnav witnessed his mother's death, he watched his sister's marriage break, he saw his sister crumble and shatter with their parent's death - that sealed it for him. There was just one mother for him, and she was no more. No one else could ever take her place.

Years later he met a woman called Garima - a caring, thoughtful, considerate, polite, loving, and generous woman. She had adopted and brought up the girl he loved. She never forced him to do anything he didn't want to do. She always kept his preferences, likes/dislikes, habits, way of living, and behaviour in mind when dealing with him. During his stay at Gupta House, he saw that though gentle she could be firm, though tender she could be strict, though calm she could snap - she was human; she was just like a mother to Khushi. She was a simple woman who tried to be a good mother to his Khushi all these years - and this quality didn't extend just to Khushi, in fact it enveloped everyone, Arnav too. There was a sense of ease and comfort that existed between Arnav and Garima. A cordial, understanding, respectful relationship was formed between them.

But now, through one photograph relating to one of Arnav's most bitter memories, his relationship with Garima has been threatened. Anjali had once told Khushi that the shadow of the past always has its bearings on the present, and that Arnav has been carrying those heavy bearings all this while. The person involved in Arnav's/Anjali's past is present in their present too. Arnav has been known to listen to just one side of the story in the past (inherited from his mother), he has been known to let his emotions take control of him in the heat of the moment, he has been known to climb into his comfort zone (his SUV) and take to the roads to clear his head, and he has been known mostly - to rectify the mistakes he has done once he realizes it.

Only time, and a few more episodes will tell us if Arnav will return to listen to Garima's side of the story, if he will let his mind think practically and rationally instead of letting his emotions tangle up his intelligence, if he will listen to his own motto - of letting things of the past be in the past, and if he will see that neither Garima, or the other woman had anything to do with his parents' deaths - that was their choice alone, they alone were responsible for it - if anyone else was involved then it is incorrect to lay the whole blame on that person's head. The other woman was just a factor, but the final decision was his parents' decisions and theirs alone.

He will come back, and he will marry Khushi (sooner or later still remains to be seen). I had also said in my last post that Arnav may marry Khushi because... oh wait, just let me get the extract from the previous Redux... yep, here it is:

"What is also interesting is that so far they haven't seen eye-to-eye on almost any matter. Arnav is well aware that his Daadi holds Khushi and her family in high contempt. He knows that Daadi has never truly accepted Khushi into the family. He has seen her attempts at breaking their marriage before - when she went to GH and cast humiliation on Khushi, and when she constantly refused to acknowledge Khushi as part of the family.

Arnav knows that Daadi will try anything to break the marriage. Now, when Daadi tells him her version of truth that Garima was the other woman in his father's life that led to his parent's deaths, he may believe her, may be shattered by this truth and may feel thwarted by the kind, caring Garima."

Now, I'm wondering if this point above will strike Arnav, and make him wonder if this is Daadi's way of breaking up his marriage with Khushi. Of course though, 'seeing is believing' for Arnav, and after seeing that photograph of his father and Garima he may believe it. But, but, but - he has realized in the past that 'seeing is not always believing' - he almost lost the girl he loved all due to believing in something he saw. Will he learn from that mistake this time around? I hope so, because it would be a lovely improvement for ASR as a character!!

Speaking of characters, I totally loved Khushi's character today. From beginning to end her presence as a bride, wife, lover, and daughter was brought forward excellently by Sanaya Irani. šŸ‘ Her name suits her to the T. Her smile, chirpiness, radiance, bubbliness, and enthusiasm mirror her name perfectly. Her naughty streak pushes her to have a look at her husband as soon as she hears the arrival of his car. Merrily, and deliriously happily she traipses down the stairs bedecked with purple orchids and her eyes look around for the one man she loves so much.

When everyone is clueless about Arnav's whereabouts and Buaji enquires if anything wrong has happened, she immediately rebukes Buaji for uttering such a thing. Immediate concern and worry for Arnav follows this as she asks Daadi if Arnav is alright and fine. Minutes before she had spoken to him, cheerfully yet impatiently waiting for him, hearing his voice too mirroring her impatience to finally become husband-wife and to spend the whole of their life together.

One moment of their most beautiful day was bombed by Daadi accusing Garima of being the cause of Arnav-Anjali's parents' death, of being the other woman who had an affair with Arnav-Anjali's father, of lying about it, and of not telling the truth to anyone.

Khushi was aware that Arnav's parents committed suicide, but to hear her mother being accused of being the cause of it - shocked her to the roots. No, she never believed it for a moment. She was just stunned, stunned that Daadi could think that her mother Garima could ever deliberately cause anyone harm.

Garima had been with Khushi ever since her parents died. She had brought her up, taken care of her, instilled values, morals and ethics into her. And if that was not all, Garima accepted Arnav as he was. Arnav was important to Khushi, and Garima always made sure that Arnav was comfortable - she never once said a word against Arnav. She was the one who understood that Khushi and Arnav were different when it came to expressing their love. To Khushi, Garima was not 'like' a mother, she was a mother.

What was remarkable to see was that just the way Arnav can't stand anyone saying anything against his mother, Khushi too can't tolerate anyone bad-mouthing her mother, even if that person is Daadiji!
EQUALS
! šŸ˜‰

Khushi has always lived her life for others. It is her loved ones who are of utmost importance. Khushi will always put herself last, while she strives to help others enjoy their lives. Another interesting factor to note is that while Khushi listened to all of Daadi's insults and humiliation against her before marriage, she shut Daadi up not just once, but twice today when Daadi called Garima uncouth names. A straight "Aap aisi nahin keh sakti" from Khushi shut Daadi up for sometime.

Daadi never really expected Khushi to stand up for her mother, to speak up for her mother, to tackle her head on. This was a surprise for her. A lesson for her - to not take Khushi at face value! šŸ˜† Khushi waylaid Daadiji unknowingly at the time prior to the re-marriage when she did not respond to any of Daadi's harsh words against her, but a few words against her mother and the lioness in her awoke to roar back at Daadi. With Khushi, there's always a limit which when crossed gets her all charged up and ready to battle. Daadi hasn't crossed that line... yet. Daadi is very close to the line, and Khushi is inching forward to counter her. Daadi hasn't yet seen the fierceness of Khushi, dreaming about when the moment will come!

In all this, one can't forget the main lady who stands at the centre, holding on to her mangalsutra, with both her daughters standing steadfastly be her side - Garima. There is still some mystery to be cleared. Like I said in my last two posts, (repeating it for those who missed reading them), that Garima keeps repeating about not knowing that the man she loved was married and had children - and also the fact, that she once said "Humme usi vaqt sach batana chahiye tha." The real truth is still unknown. Is it that Garima 'alone' knows this unknown truth? Or is it that there is someone who knows this unknown truth, and if this truth were to come out, it would do more harm than good? But who is the 'married man' Garima keeps referring to? And for whom will this truth be unbearable?

Also like I said before, I feel that Garima and Arnav's father were not involved purely because Arnav's father's reaction to his wife Ratna accusing of seeing him with another woman seemed innocent and genuine. He seriously seemed puzzled by what and who his wife Ratna was talking about. His subsequent suicide right after his wife's suicide doesn't bear the mark of a man involved with any other woman except with his own wife. She was his love, she was his wife.

Shashiji knows the truth (not sure if he knows the whole truth). He alone knows what caused Garima to come marry him. He alone knows what happened in Garima's past. He supported her faithfully all these years, and kept her secret of the past safe. When Garima is truly broken, Shashiji will be there with her, she will never be alone even after the real truth, whatever it is, comes out.

Somehow, there's a mystery behind Khushi's parent's deaths too. Something just doesn't connect somehow. Just my gut talking, that's all. Who knows, after this mess is cleared up, the next one to pop up may be about Khushi's past - we don't know much about hers! No flashbacks also in Khushi's case!

THINKING ALOUD

My heart broke for these two children today. Two children so happy to have finally found one another to share their lonely hearts with. Eager and impatient to start a beautiful life together. They felt that they had tackled all the possible heart-breaking moments, that there was only happiness laid ahead for them. However, everyone comes with a baggage, everyone carries some sort of burden from the past, and sometimes these baggages seem to unlock themselves at the pinnacle of a happy moment.

Two scenes which caused me to cry was One: when Arnav stares in stunned disbelief at Garima and his father in the photo and then has the flashbacks of his mother's suicide, Anjali crying inconsolably, and the night he spent with Khushi when she gave herself totally and faithfully over to him. The second was Khushi eagerly running down the orchid covered stairs to meet her husband. She had waited impatiently for him, had requested him to come soon, and when she heard the sound of the car tires, she could hardly withhold herself from rushing to meet him finally. On one hand was his brokenness, and on the other was her glowing happiness.

I applaud Barun Sobti for touching a chord within me even without saying a single word! šŸ‘ The pain in his eyes as he relived the scarring moment of his childhood, the sadness as he remembered his sister weeping over their parents dead bodies even as her marriage broke before it began, and the realization of the enormity of love and trust that Khushi has in him as he recounted the night they spent together. The devastation of being confronted with the most sore truth about his past on a day which was supposed to soothe the scabs of a damaged soul - it was all reflected in those eyes, in his features, and in his stance. šŸ‘šŸ¼

The positioning of the characters was brilliant! Anjali, Maami and Daadi in a diagonal line facing Khushi, Garima and Payal. Full woman party it was. Naani, though involved, was slightly on the sidelines. I wouldn't worry or curse Anjali since if you're in her position, you might almost have the same questions in your head, even if they sound plain dumb. Also remember, Anjali seems to be closer to Daadi than Arnav, Daadi was the one who helped Anjali meet Shyam, who helped Anjali get back that life she so loved, so Anjali has more basis of trust with Daadi - you really think she's going to question Daadi?

How glad was I to see Payal pipe up and come stand resolutely by her mother's side! Fulltoo whistle for her! I hope and pray for more Payal scenes. Loved the scene as both daughters stood by their mother's side. The old GH magic was there. 😳

Khushi trusts and had complete faith in Arnav. She will understand the pain he must be in. She will wait for him, faithfully, believing in the strength of their love. Their love has survived all odds till now, it's about time their love survives this one too.

CREDITS

I have already commended Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani, so will move on to:

Swati Chitnis: It was just Abhaas Mehta who I loved to hate in this show, but after you came I found an extra person who I loved to hate and to use the meanest words in my vocabulary on. You make me grate my teeth, and yes, that's a compliment. 😃

Pyumori Mehta: If Swati Chitnis evokes the mean girl in me, then you evoke the sympathetic side of me. I can't help go "Don't cry Garima, Khushi is with you... how dare Daadi talk to you like that!... etc. etc." Endearing performance by you šŸ‘

Deepali Pansare: Girl, I loved you right from 'Manzil dhoond Legi humein' days. I was pleasantly surprised to see you on IPKKND, and hence keep rooting for your scenes since I know that you have a good amount of talent. Hoping to see more of you in the episodes, please try to stay on here.

Karan Goddwani: The only moment of laughter I got from the episode was to see you use your pink turban as a 'phone-holder'. 🤣 Chweetu you are!!! ā˜ŗļø

READERS

My work has started to ease up a bit, so I'm hoping that I can make it more often out here. Thanks for your warmth and love! šŸ¤—

REDUXIANS

I haven't read all of your posts these past few days, but I do press 'like' whenever I read any. If there is no 'like' from me then either I didn't read it, or the 'like' button did not work! 😃 Glad to see so many people writing here, large posts, pictorial posts, chotu-sa posts, funny posts, insightful posts, mythological posts and the rest. It sure is a delight to read the amazing variety centred over the same episode! Kudos Reduxians!! šŸ‘ āļø

Lovez,

Nia 😊

P.S: I wanted to write something about Daadi or Arnav but I just can't remember what! šŸ˜• Will write if I remember!

What you need to know about the past is that no matter what has happened, it has all worked together to bring you to this very moment. And this is the moment you can choose to make everything new. Right now. ~Author Unknown

Finally. Finally. The moment I've been waiting for: The urge to pen down my thoughts about the episode no matter what. For who knows how long, I've been MIA from penning down everything in my mind. And today was that episode. I felt the pain felt by everyone. I felt Dadi's triumph and Shyam's relish (much to my disgust). But I just felt terrible because they were feeling terrible.

(To Watanuki about Nanami) The rock, once it starts to roll down the hill, it won't stop. It will keep rolling until the end of the road. ~Yuuko Ichihara from xxxHolic

What does this quote mean? What does it stay? It means that once we make up our minds, we cannot stop yourself from doing something... instead of vowing to do something... There is a difference in the previous two sentences.

I shall start with Dadi. She vowed that she "would" destroy Garima. And she did. Partially. Then there is Shyam, who vowed he "would" break the wedding. And he did. Partially. And then there is Arnav, who vowed he "would stop at nothing" in his quest to get his "Khushi." He cannot be stopeed.

See the difference. I don't have the words to explain what I am trying to get across. But I hoped that you can get what I am trying to say.

Assumptions is the mother of all f**k-ups. ~ Quoted by Lalit Mohan (It is not his original quote. I don't know whose it is though.)

Dadi and Shyam are in for a bitch-slap. They've assumed that Arnav won't come. They'd assumed that everyone would accept their side. But that isn't the case. The divide as I see it:

Garima has:

  • Khushi
  • Shashi
  • Madhumati
  • Payal
  • NK
  • Akash (from what it seems now)
  • Nani

Dadi has:

  • Shyam
  • Anjali
  • Mami
The game-changing factor: ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA

Dadi and Shyam have once again UNDERESTIMATED AND ASSUMED that Arnav will abandon Khushi. But he has already made his decision. I agree with Sathya when I say, he will marry her. Come what may, he will marry her. And they've ASSUMED that Khushi and Payal would take things lying down. Never underestimate your enemies. Certainly not the ones who've defeated you before.

Shyam has made a fatal error. By trying to break Khushi's wedding, he has firmly established the camps. Arnav will come around. Or else I shall personally come after him after I buy a brand new pair of shoes. Oh yeah, I will!

When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile. ~Author Unknown

Khushi and Garima. They have a tie of blood between them. But some bonds are more than blood. Garima and Khushi have been there for each other almost always. In hindsight, I now fully appreciate why Garima had slapped Khushi on her wedding day in February. It is because she was angry that her little angel was walking along the same path as her. And so she reacted with anger. I have never thought she was wrong to have slapped her. It is a mother's right to do so.

They are very similar. Both love life. Both love everyone around them. Both get paranoid very easily. Both can spread smiles easily. Both can take all the pain in the world, hold in to their chest and give only love in return. Both don't hold grudges. Both just want love. And I think it is Khushi's real mother who is responsible for that. Both can be fierce if the situation demands it.

And both are scapegoats. No woman truthfully accused of what Garima's been accused her would clutch her mangalsutra like her lifeline. She is pure and honest. Just as much as Khushi. Like Khushi, she too was duped for the same reason. And like Khushi she will be given her due. By none other than Arnav Singh Raizada.

Khushi is the type of daughter I want to be. I really, really would be very happy if I can be as good of a daughter to my mother. And I can't give Khushi a bigger compliment then that. And so is Payal.

I felt my heart break, when I saw Garima smile through her tears when Khushi defended her. Her love shone like the sun. I felt the pride Shashi, Madhumati, Payal and Devyani Raizada felt when Khushi stood up for her mother. Why wouldn't I? It takes great nerve when you stand up your enemies. But even more so to stand up to your friends and family (I am a Harry Potter pankha).

Devyani Raizada was a highlight for me. At first she was angry, and rightly so. But she is one person who has her head firmly on her shoulders. She thinks with her head and decides with her heart. The perfect combination and balance. I want to grow old to be like her.

Arnav Singh Raizada has made his decision. He had his eyes open when he thought of his mother and sister. But he closed his eyes when he thought of Khushi. When do we close our eyes in pain? It is when we cannot bear to have someone we love taken away from us. Come what may, he will not let Khushi go.

Arnav has retreated. He has gone to gain his bearings. And when he returns, he will be back with a bang! I will say this: He is not a Malik. He is a Raizada. He is not his parents' son. I have always felt he is more Devyani Raizada's grandson.

Often times, people simply deny the existence of what they do not understand, and anyone who tells them otherwise is a liar. What they don't know stays 'unexplained' and they are happy with that. By Yuuko Ichihara from xxxHolic

Isn't this the case with all three of the remaining Maliks? Subhadra Malik, Anjali Malik and Arnav Malik all have the same issue. Even "Ratna Malik" did. They were presented with a situation and were unable to bear it. Arnav is the strongest one because he denies the name "Malik" and thus has the most potential to recover. Subhadra Malik is still a Malik, Ratna couldn't digest the possibility of not being a "Malik" and we never knew if Anjali gave up her surname of "Malik" as Arnav did.

Only one of the four gave up their "name" and he is the only one, along with his soulmate, who will be break the curse of the "Malik".

Arnav is fast reaching the point where he cannot run any further. He has to face the issue head-on and he has no choice. He won't let Khushi go. Whenever he faces a situation where Khushi is being taken away from him, he forces through. He makes his way in, he invents a way in if there isn't any. And he often disappears before doing such a thing i.e. he secludes himself from everyone and returns afterwards to take charge. The situation seems bleak, but he manages to turn the tides the minute he arrives.

If you've seen the video, it will be easier to make sense of what I mean. When he was kidnapped, most particularly, the scene in the clip, he sought Khushi. When we are ill or ill trouble, we seek the person who we are closest to, the person we depend upon the most. For children it is their mothers. For Arnav, it was assumed to have been "Darling Di". But no it is Khushi. Do you know why he expresses everything, negative or positive, to Khushi? Because he knows she can take it in and give him only love. Deep down, he knows she won't think less of him and will be by his side. Because of his past, he fears that she'll disappear. But she is the one thing he needs to survive. Di needs him, he needs Khushi. That is all the difference in the world.

Women really do rule the world. They just haven't figured it out yet. When they do, and they will, we're all in big big trouble. ~"Doctor Leon," drleons.com

Khushi is like any woman. She has an invisible line drawn. Cross it and she will tear you apart. She did to Arnav, she did it to Shyam and she will do it to Subhadra Malik. Just push her s little more and she could push Dadi into the fire (I hope so but alas!). She will defend her loved ones and will die doing it if necessary!

I won't mention Anjali. For some unexplainable reason, I didn't sympathise with her. I just couldn't bring myself to. I felt her expressions weren't right and I think Daljeet is getting complacent.

Payal, hugs! Akash dude you tried to grow a pair! NK you were wonderful! I wanna marry you! Mami you were OTT but you are OTT.

Actors of the day for me: Barun Sobti, Sanaya Irani, Pyumori Mehta, Jayshree T, Deepali Pansare

Actors who I thought weren't fine: Swatnisji I felt was the same constantly. I don't see variation. Abhaas, you creeped me out. Daljeet was a bit too much. Everyone else was okay.

A beautiful episode that took me back to February. That February night, Shyam had moved the same chess piece as Dadi. Shaym'd assumed Arnav would leave Khushi and do nothing. Arnav was cornered and brought to his knees. He was helpless. Arnav secluded himself and screamed his agony. And came back and took what was his, albeit forcefully. This time as well, Dadi's assumed that he would leave Khushi and do nothing. He is corned and brought to his knees. He is helpless. He has secluded himself and will most probably scream him agony. And he will come back and take what's his. And both times, he will face his opponents head-on with a look that screams of his will, determination and never-say-die attitude.

Arnav, it's your call. Take it and dial the right numbers.

After a long, long time am I making a full post! Well, with an episode such as this it is not difficult.

@Sathu, I was going to vlog but I decided against it. I have a fever, cold and sore throat. So I chose not to look and act like a fish. Reputation ko save karneka padi!

Love

Isn't it always easier said that done??
The man...who was basking in the warmth of his love...was all smiles...that feeling of bliss so tangible...comes to know of that terrible truth...just before he sets to bring Khushi to his life forever..the truth that has haunted him forever...the truth that has killed a part of him completely. And still he does not deserve a few seconds to stop and think??!!

It is always easy to blame him...The mighty Arnav Singh Raizada...the typical anti-hero...formerly a misogynist...Khushi's "gunegaar" in many ways...whom Khushi is"better off without"!!Who committed a terrible mistake...making love to her a day before they got "married"...He...who always "intentionally" puts Khushi in a precarious state..ALWAYS!!

It is always so easy...to blame a man...who probably "still" does not "love" Khushi...Who still needs a lesson or two in love...After all...it was his duty..to hurry to the Mandap and marry Khushi...To accept her "amma" as his own...Even after knowing that it was because of the same woman that his mother committed suicide..A mother that he adored..a mother that he lost fourteen years ago...

Because he is the great Arnav Singh Raizada...he is above all mortal beings...He does not cry...not even when he knows it is a choice between his dead mother and the love of his life...He does not deserve a moment or two to express his pain or anger or despair...

A few people amuse me,really!!Before you pass those snide remarks about this character..night and day...who feels that ASR should get his retribution even before Shyam...STOP and THINK.IPK is not a 3 hr movie..It is a minimum 500 episode daily soap...Where a 20 min episode cannot bring a conclusion...Cross the bridge when you come to that!!Just because ASR is a man...don't go on his back to such an extent that it louses up the mood of the forum...and messes up the beauty that IPK is...Yes the man is flawed...But the man is an honest and upright one...Don't try to take away from him those few minutes he so deserves!!

After all..It is easier said than done!!

PS:Sorry if I hurt anyone...But this is strictly for those few people who clearly lacks the cell to understand this character...

Just to add..I found a few posts in the forum saying the flashback that ASR had about him and Khushi making love or whatever shouldn't have been shown as that shows the physical aspect of their relationship..More than the emotional bond..Well..if someone asks me...The lovemaking was just another aspect of the relationship they share...They are man and wife...and this was bound to happen..some day or the other...There is nothing crass about it..The man simply realized he is a little too involved with Khushi now to let go off her...That is all...IMO!!

BTW...Did I say..I loved the episode??!!😃I loved the lioness Khushi..I loved my wounded lion Arnav😳😭I hated(That's basically an understatement) Daadi😔...I loved Naani..shattered but not hateful😊...I loved Payal...She once again showed what she is actually made of!!Garima should be soo proud of herself..To have raised two such daughters...šŸ‘The magic is slowly making its way into IPK ..all over again!!

Chained Memories...

Pic Credit: Chowna

A photograph of a man and woman...standing close with a smile on their faces... an innocent photograph..it could be of two friends... two acquaintances or of two people who shared a deeper bond than that..A picture is worth a thousand words and equally open to a 1000 interpretations...and the blackest of them all was served by a mother grieving for her son and baying vengeance for the calamity that befell him...

Pic Credit: Chowna

A version of truth that a mother saw then is opened up by her now as a grandmother...In a breath she asks her grandson to give up his reason to live for the mother who was a reason for his existence...Can anyone choose which is precious between his two eyes?Arnav Singh Raizada has been asked to make the choice on the happiest day of his life...
A girl who came into their lives because of his decision.. was punished for a crime by him which she did not commit... gave him the gift of love that made him come alive again.. was ready to sacrifice her life for him... gave him the most precious treasure... her soul...her being... In return he had given Khushi a promise to love and be with her always...

Today as she stands at the altar to be married..her dignity, trust, love too stands with her waiting for him to keep that promise...Arnav had always maintained that he was unlike his father he did not run away from his responsibilities...he honored them at the cost of himself...

Arnav Singh Raizada is a man of his words and it can be hoped that the promise he made to Khushi will be honoured but... it will be out of a sense of duty... the feeling of love will be chained once again as a mark of not disrespecting the memory of his Mamma..

Pic Credit: Chowna

Khushi a young girl whose biggest dream was to have a fairy tale wedding to the man she loved... A dream that Arnav almost fulfilled...all the pre-marriage rituals were solemnized ... at the wedding celebration finale, beautifully dressed as a bride...she waited for the dream to materialize. Union of two souls in holy matrimony with the blessings of family...

But the stark truth of a stain on the character of her beloved Amma came instead... Her mother who had given the orphan in her the sanctuary of love was accused of cheating Arnav of his parents love... The fact her heart and mind refused to fathom...her life long experience with Amma shrieked a different story... Garima's innocence of the wrongdoing... As her mother pleaded forgiveness for not coming forward with the truth earlier.. told her unawareness of the fact that Arnav's father was married...her intentions and truth got lost in the vociferous accusations that were hurled..Her daughters stood up for their Amma...putting their future lives at stake... A mother's selfless affection for her children cannot go un-reciprocated by them..

Khushi has faith in her Arnavji that he will understand from where her belief stems from...she has bharosa on him and his love...will her unwavering trust in him get it's due reward ?

Pic Credit: Baki

Dadi is confident in it's brittleness and Shyam is gloating on it's fickleness... as the bond of Arnav and Khushi tied by destiny gets ready to be tested yet again...

An episode that maintained its tight content, excellent acting, and a nice pace in it's story telling.. An applause worthy effort by the onscreen and offscreen team of IPKKND.šŸ‘

A toast to Khushi,,, a miracle a daughter!!! 3 cheers

A daughter is a miracle that never ceases to be miraculous...full of beauty and forever beautiful...loving and caring and truly amazing.
-- Deanna Beisser

I loved the episode would sound cliched isnt it so but a stretched track is suddenly picking pace, and all things are just going Pppuuurrfffeeecccttt,,,,. So i need to say it loved it!

Today I would like to share something, my grandmother always said that daughters though wonderful angels scare parents bcz even a needle pricks them parents get hurt 1000fold and owing to that and few others experiences in my life I hv always wanted a boy baby for myself, much as I love girls, I am scared to have one but tonite I thought, if all daughters can be like Khushi why not a daughter, A salute to her

khushi has been always like this, if she has faith in something its absolute be it payals marriage n her anti dowry stand, her faith in DM n destiny, her stubbornness to earn to money to return to arnav, her GH episode, her resignation to arnav, her training to LA n her faith in marriage, her standing up to Arnav regarding his stance to marriage, her standing to shyam when she found his truth & going against her mother for truth, her faith in Arnav post marriage and in kidnapping too,,,, she always has been sure of what she believes...

Tonite too when no one was standing by/ defending Garima, a women who is equal to her mother for her, with silent dignity she rose against dadi, defying her belief in what she knows as absolute trust to her mother, a torn women who past is effecting her daughters present, who is ashamed of her mistakes and has given years to rectify the mistakes of her youth, most of us commit mistakes in our past which we never want to effect our present,,, so is she wrong or vulnerable, but her husband is proud of her, he is being torn when her dignity is being ripped in shards and in walks khushi, standing for her, she doesnt raise a finger on others involved instead she full empathizes with their loss but she will not take a insult to her parent too... I was amazed by this like most would but then remembered Durga avatar of goddess and i wasnt so amazed then yes khushi can be durga or saraswati whatever the moment deserves,,,,
So salute to her...
Dedication to Khushi Singh Raizada

DEAR FRNDS, THIS POST BELONGS TO ANU, Please post ur aapreciation to her

__________________________________________________________________________________

A VENGEFUL DAADI ON A WAR PATH

The episode started with a shell shocked Arnav listening to a vengeful Daadi's words reigning down on him. She tells lies to him that she found out the truth about Garima only today when she found the Photo. She asks him how can he marry that girl whose Maasi is responsible for the death of his parents. Can he get married to such a girl and live the rest of his life with her? How can she let the shadow of that lady who was responsible for the death of his parents to come into this house and family? And she does not want anything to do with that family. She leaves the decision with Arnav.

A shell shocked Arnav is devastated thinking about his parents on one side and Kushi and her love and trust she bestowed upon him on the other side. He leaves the room in shock.

Barun and Swathiji excelled in this scene.

Does Daadi have her own agenda in going after Garima other than the death of her beloved son as she claims to Arnav is too be seen? I felt she was taking revenge on Arnav for not liking his father.

The anxiety of the family and the Bride when Arnav does not answer the phone or messages is shown very beautifully. The happiness on their faces when they see the decorated car and Daadi comes is shown so beautifully. NK goes in search of Arnav and Kushi is ready to complain with her bridegroom who came late. Then they ask Daadi as to the whereabouts of Arnav.

DAADI'S OFFENSIVE

She then goes into her offensive mood and asks Garima that are you really misunderstood that that Arnav will come today to marry your daughter. She tells her that after what you did to my family how did you think that I will allow this marriage to happen. She asks her how you can even think that you and your family will get this happiness in exchange for the sadness you had caused all those years ago.

Garima, a shocked and tearful Garima begs her and says I thought you forgave me. Then Daadi says that I told lies because wanted to hurt you and make you realize who much hurt I felt after what you did. When both my Son and Daughter in law gave up their lives just because of you? She tells this is the same Garima who trapped my son in the name of love, the same Garima caused the destruction of our house, and Anjali and Arnav are orphans.

Kushi immediately stops Daadi and tells her this is not the truth and it is all lies. When Garima does not answer, Daadi very triumphantly says you got your answer.

Anjali goes and asks Garima why she did such a thing to her mother and what did her mother do to deserve this.

So clearly Anjali and Maamiji whom Anjali turns for comfort are with Daadi in this fight. I loved Naaniji, she being a just person and a good judge of character tells her friend that she must have some misunderstanding.

Garima tells Kushi that she did not know he was married and had two children. If I knew all this would not have happened. But our Daadi who is bent on taking revenge tells Garima that you knew everything and you knowing everything purposely destroyed everything. You know that if you have a relationship with a married man, the name given to that lady will be giri huuyi Aurat.

KUSHI JUMPS IN TO DEFEND HER MOTHER

Now Kushi jumps to the defense of her mother and says stop Daadi. She tells that if Amma does not know that your son was not married then she really must have not known as my mother does not tell lies. I have faith in my mother. I KNOW HER VERY well

Kushi tells I know Amma very well and in her whole life did not hurt anyone knowingly, but always felt others dukh as her's. She tells Daadi I have strong faith in her. Now Anjali enters the ring and asks why she did not tell all this before? Daadi asks her to answer to Anjali? Why did she not tell her earlier? Why were you hiding from me? Maamiji also jumps into the ring, Naaniji pleads that why did you tell the truth before.

Garima tells she wanted to tell but could not tell because of my daughters' future and happiness would be stolen away. Garima tells that I could not do it because after all I am a mother. Daadi then tells if you very a mother you would not have stolen Anjali's and Arnav mother. She tells you are only a fallen, greedy and other woman.

Kushi can't bear anymore and asks Daadi how she can talk Like that? Looking at Daadi she tells I know how it is to feel how you lost your son, looking at Naani how it is to feel losing your daughter and at Anjali how it is to feel without having parents. I know this very well. But even I know that my mother is not responsible.

Maamiji starts taunting Garima. Aakash tells her to stop. Maamiji shuts up Aakash. Payal then goes to her mother and tells that I know my mother did not tell earlier because of me.

Daadi tells that whether you knew or not makes no difference to me, but all I know is that you are the cause of the death of my son and daughter-in-law

Clearly battle lines are drawn with Daadi, Anjali, Shyam and Maamiji on one side.

Garima, Kushi, Payal,Nk, Buaji, Shashiji, Aakash on the other. Naani is neutral and we are awaiting the Bridegroom

MY THOUGHTS:

Barun, Swathiji excelled in the first scene.

Pyumori, Sanaya, excelled when Kushi goes like a tigress to save her mother.

Daadiji why did you not tell the truth to the family before if you knew about Garima

What hidden agenda do you have?

Till date you did not show so much concern for your Bahu and only considered her weak. Now you are taking her as a cause for your vengeance.

How did you spend time in the ashram, plotting vengeance while praying to God?

I could not stand the looks of the resident snake who was gloating. Abbas excelled here. Changing expressions when Anjali looked into his eyes.

I feel that Daadi is taking revenge for some other slight Garima would have caused and not the one she is claiming.

There is something more to this story. We will know only when Garima opens up and tells us the story.

The story of Arnav and that of Garima will be different.

I never expected to land on the front page. I hope you would put up and appreciate my analysis of Daadiji who is on a warpath.

I would like to thank everyone who encouraged me and appreciated my very few posts. Thanks Jhalak for reserving a spot for me.

Great to have you and Redux back this weekšŸ‘

I really enjoyed today's episode and as you mentioned, the acting was excellent. I loved the way Khushi stood up for her Amma and Payal too lent her supportšŸ‘ I really hope that they don't solve this whole "Garima as the other woman" issue in a hurry. What I mean by that, is that I want to see Khushi fight to clear the stigma, I want to see Arnav realize that the past wasn't only what he remembers it to be and then I want Arnav to join forces with Khushi to clear Garima's name. If Arnav just shows up, finds Khushi and they get married, I think it will be a great disappointment. Khushi, IMO, should hold out until Arnav is willing to accept Garima irrespective of the past, whatever it may be. Kind of like "Love me, love my family" deal!!

One thing that surprised me today was when Nani and Anjali asked Garima "Why didn't you tell us the truth earlier?" Really?? Did they really expect her to come up to them and say "Oh,by the way, I am the woman your son-in-law/father had an affair with and it is because of me that senior Mr and Mrs Raizada are now dead. Please forgive me and accept my two daughters into your family"!!!! However honest and truthful a person may want to be, when it is a question of his/her children's happiness, things become more gray than black and white. There was never a good moment to broach this topic and Garima, in this case, did what any loving mother would do...swallow her guilt, bury her secret and pray for her daughters happiness.

What I now look forward to is the whole, entire truth coming out in front of everyone...and oh yes, that includes Arnav finding out that Dadi lied to him twice...first, by pretending that everything was ok and giving Khushi the kangan, while plotting revenge and waiting for the day of the wedding to reveal Garima's past to him...and second, when she said today that she got the picture only just before she revealed the truth. Oooh interesting times ahead

Can't wait to read what all you wonderful Reduxians have to say...

An extremely well executed episode!!!!! That was my first thought..

The pace is brilliant, the acting is crisp, the drama is gripping...after a long time I am at a point where I am again excited and constantly thinking ab kiya hoga??

Well done Team IPK for getting it back ... I just hope you maintain it!!

And ofcourse my happiness knows no bounds that redux is back...

Thank you sats for taking the reigns again...you have no idea how important my brain exercising is and that cannot happen until you post,...I love the way you give your theories substantiating all through various gestures, dialogs and all...you and doods have a unique talent that sees through layers of the master pieces put on TV...you have an eye to pick and give us food for thought...It is because of you both I came to know what is kept in mind when designing scenes, characters and sets... šŸ‘

Now before anyone says ke not all theories put forward are true I would like to point out that its a daily soap which buckles to the pressure of TRPs and tracks are changed probably every other day based on public demand...but what still should be kept in mind is what ever doods and tants write is read and respected and scanned for pointers...we have seen various acknowledgments of our work being read and I am sure it is appreciated because they will have no other reason to read it...

I am not analyzing today but would like to point out that I loved the expression of pride on shashi gupta's face when khushi spoke of trust on her mom, loved the Gupta sisters turning to tigresses to protect their mother's honor...loved Dadi, khushi, payal and garima's acting...and felt sad for akash...as he got one tiny dialog which he tried to speak but got told off even before he could utter it

All in all a well shot and executed episode and my post will be incomplete if I don't say ke what an apt and beautiful title sathušŸ‘
