Short update from me guys!
Firstly, what a beautiful episode. Lalit Mohan, take a bow for the best direction ever. Barun & Sanaya, take a bow for being amazing actors and setting the screen on fire with that electrifying chemistry!
Now, am I team con or no con? TECHNICALLY, it's not really con or not because they're not married 😆 but personally I think they did the deed. I'll explain why soon.
Drunk Aakash and NK were hilarious! & Payal scolding Aakash 🤣
Arnav tricking Khushi was hilarious and adorable 😆
As I predicted in a text to Rits on Thursday (posted in the last thread), Khushi did a dance to an item song in pure KKG fashion, clumsiness and all. So this is what Arnav asked her to do when he pinned her against the wall? Haye haye 😉 How could bitwa control himself after that? If Arnav can be Salman for Khushi, Khushi can be an item girl for Arnav (ah, so Arnav likes item girls then? 😆)
Ooh, Khushi's started getting possessive! Any churail that even dares to look at Arnav Singh Raizada, beware of Khushi's wrath!
Aw, the adorable scene with the projector! Khushi, you have made Arnav fall hard! Khushi, uneasy at first, settles herself into Arnav's arms and admires the stars with him (aw, they finally watched the stars together! 😳) One thing I've noticed is that every meaningful conversation Arnav & Khushi have had is somehow involving the stars. The stars want them to unite, their parents want them to unite.
"Tumhe kaise pata hai ke yeh sacha pyaar hain?"
Isn't that what Arnav has been looking for the answer to for ages? Being far from Khushi when he was kidnapped made him realise that he really was in love with her, but he wanted to know Khushi's perspective. To him, he has always loved Khushi more than she loved him. If we think about it, he married her when he thought that she was in a relationship with his brother-in-law. Why would you bring someone who has committed such a low act closer to you if you didn't feel anything towards them? He wanted her far from Shyam, but he also wanted her closer to him. Anything bad that's happened - yes, he does push Khushi away but never all the way. He can't live without her, so he'll never let her leave him; he's too selfish like that. This is why I still think the marriage is going ahead; Khushi is blameless, and Arnav is madly in love with her. She has to live with someone she hates on a daily basis (Shyam), so why can he not do the same and tolerate Garima for the sake of their love? & why can Arnav and Khushi not work together to unveil the whole truth? I see no reason for that not happening.
Khushi explains how she felt when Arnav had been kidnapped, and they both remember their telepathic conversation. They finished each other's sentences! Adorableness overload 😳
Khushi starts to get up but Arnav pulls her back down again. Khushi will pull away from Arnav after their wedding, possibly because he left her waiting at the mandap with no explanation. He, involuntarily perhaps, humiliated her in front of everyone and she will not forgive him that easily. He will, however, win back her trust. More on that later. Just as Arnav's about to have his wicked way with her (Rits, what have you done to me? 😆), he senses her discomfort and stops, apologising.
"Aap samajhte hain." And that's all that mattered to Khushi. The fact that he was willing to wait until after their wedding because that's what she wanted, the [saint-like] restraint he's had to put on himself throughout their entire marriage and the way she never allowed him to question her values or change her principles. But now the two of them are one; she feels what he feels, and Khushi can see how difficult it's been for him. "Humme barosa hain aap pe. Aapke pyaar par." Khushi had built these walls between herself and Arnav because she still remembered the sting of Diwali. Just like him, she is just as scared of bringing him close as she fears that he will take what he wants and leave her. But not anymore. This dialogue shows how her perspective has changed; she trusts him and the love he feels for her so she is willing to give herself to him openly, putting herself in a vulnerable position. I'm not saying that Khushi just did it for Arnav, to prove her love for him. She wanted him too, that much was evident. She made the first move to kiss him and assure him that she didn't mind. This will make events of the wedding day all the more heartbreaking and difficult to digest for Khushi. She has given him everything and he has left her at the mandap, suggesting that her previous ideology was correct and she was kidding herself. It will be incredibly difficult for her to forgive him after this because of the shame she will feel inside herself for giving her most precious gift to a man who could break her heart so easily. That too before their wedding night, against her beliefs. An observation I've made is that after all their intimate encounters, it's always Arnav that leaves; Diwali, the hut, almost SR when he stormed off in anger after confessing his love. Will he leave her like all the other times, but this time on their wedding day? All the spoilers are suggesting just that.
"Jab tak tumse mila nahi tha, toh vaise lagta tha ki sab kuch adhoora sa hain… mujhse waada karo ke mujhe kabhi chor kar nahi jaogi". Khushi's disappearance on the wedding day will break Arnav just as much as it will break Khushi, as he will also feel heartbroken that she has gone. "Main tumhaare bina nahi ji paoonga". Arnav is exposing his vulnerability to Khushi, and both are fearful of what this love has turned them into. Both will be devastated once again, but they need to find solace in one another as one will not be able to live without the other (Heer-Ranjha dialogues come to mind). Khushi's kisses and the *cough* actions that follow *cough* seal the promise that Arnav and Khushi are making to one another. "Khushi, main..." "Hum jaante hain." Khushi knows that he loves her and is willing to wait, but Khushi wants to show that she completely believes in him and wants to be with him completely. They promise to be there for one another through everything, and for their two souls to be entwined into one. This is proof enough to me that re-marriage will happen, because their bond has just become even stronger; they first had attraction, then a mental and emotional connection. Now that they also have a physical connection, no force can break them apart.
& if all the fact that he was undressing her wasn't proof enough that they did it, her shy "Arnavji" was (clean thoughts, Ghausia) 😳
But it's like I said to Rits earlier - if that was just a kiss, how will con be?! I'm still feeling like jelly after seeing such a hot episode. Just gotta pray that my mum doesn't watch the repeat on Monday now!
The precap - I'm going to take that at face value. I don't like these theories of Khushi having a mental breakdown and thinking it's her wedding day every day 😕 Buaji and Garima are just shocked that she's running around so much. Yep, that's it.
Loved the episode overall! I've also made a VM based on ArHi's intimacy today and in a few other episodes. Thanks to a Reduxian for suggesting Bahon Ke Darmiyaan. It'll be up soon!
