I've always believed that a person is who he/she is after the choices they make. The conclusion in an essay, sums up the uniformity in the paragraphs above and the ace in direction enhances the screen play!
An episode that contradict where one walked towards light and the other, purposefully towards the dark.
Dadi, what to say about her! I see a reflection of my family in her thoughts. Conservation, thick headed, and a person who never looks through his own eye. Since the beginning, and her purpose of return has been on one thing. Personal Satisfaction!! Fourteen years ago, a woman had entered the life of her family and she had failed to protect them. Subidradevi had failed her responsibility & in the eyes of society, she wasn't a person with values. Fourteen years later, immersed in thoughts of past, she's told that the history is repeating and that's why she strikes, trying to prevent what had happened years ago. It is another battle in this war, and she won't rest until she wins the battle (not the war).
I mentioned trials didn't I?
Another trial awaits this starcrossed couple today. Tough times will be faced ahead and these memories will be the one to cherish in times of happiness and sorrows.
The whole game of blindfold was amazing. A naughty chotte stepped out from his shell, not for Khushi but for the family that is a part of him.
Khushi I believe was the chacha ji today, Arnav the Sr. Malik. The deeds of Sr. Malik paves a path for chacha ji to obtain what he wanted; Arnav leading Khushi down the stairs with him. He was underestimated by the family, considered spotless by Dadi who blames the other woman entirely for everything *rolls eyes*, and he in the end sneaked his way through. He made lives hell for everyone. He (khushi) points towards Garima, putting her in an uncomprehendable situation. But eventually, chachaji himself falls in a hole. The grand house he had taken away from its rightful owners, remans the only thing worth to repa his debts, and his debts are he could never repay concluding Arnav to buy the sheesh mahal back!
Separation, Separation!! Honestly speaking, there were signs of this damn separation since last year!
Abandonment has a deep effect. The fear it brings with itself rest in a person's roots; and the utterance of running away without letting him know gave him a jolt!! Beautiful scene captured.
The phones left behind together, I'm taking the separation will cut off their phones as well. No communiations!
Adam had asked Eve to trust him as he led her to the Garden of Eden. Arnav like a tree, had been dependant on others but as time passed by, others became dependent on him. He had grown up to be a man his mother had once hoped for. Honest and true to self! He today truely hands Khushi himself. He accepted her with all of his heart and that really matters to him.
The present of rose on her birthday now holds a deeper meaning.
There was a back shot in the garden where Arnav & Khushi sat together but there was a line separating them showing that there ways would be parallel to each other!
A beautiful episode that had some meaningful material. We, thanks to Bushra, know now the reason of Shyam's 100 watt smile!
