All the members of the family are all in the mood of celebration, all dressed up and busy with the Sangeet ceremony preparations. Khushi arrives, she watches them discuss stuff in a whispers. She leans forward in an attempt to listen to the conversation. Anjali's eyes spot her, she screams surprised, "Khushi ji!" All the yes go wide and most of them start hiding things behind their back as Anjali asked her in a coherent fashion, "You.. when' did .. you. come?" Khushi asks all excited, "Just now! What were you guys whispering about?" Eacyh one looks at the next person instead of answering the question. Nk asks, "Khusur.. pusur. ? What is that? Is this the name of some disease?" Mami explains, "She is asking what we are talking about!" NK goes, "Oh!.. about the weather!" Simultaneously Mami says, 'About food!" Anjali and Nani make frustrated faces. Khushi asks, "Food.. weather'?" Mami goes, "Yes, Yes, Yes!.. What I meant was that, it's so much fun to have food in this weather!" "Really?" says Khushi. Then she puts both hre hands on her hips and marches forward, "And.. what's behind that curtain?" Aakash pulls Payal close with his hand around her shoulder to block Khushi's way and as they smile Aakash tries to distract Khushi, "Behind the curtains.. ? What.. is.. Yes.. what is behind the curtains?" Mami goes, "What isszzz.." Nk tries, "It's just curtain.. " then he attempts few words of a popular Hindi song though messes it up big time. Aakash goes to correct him but then gives up. Buaji says that there is no need to worry about it, she would come to know eventually. NK agrees. Khushi insists, "No, I want to know right now!" Mami successfully attempts deviation by welcoming Shashi and Garima. All the family members join in. Khushi thinks for a moment then takes off.
Arnav gets ready in his room. As he buttons up his jacket, Khushi walks in aggravated and says, "Do you even know what's going on in this house?" Not amused, Arnav guesses, "Our wedding?" Khushi says, "No, something else!" Arnav asks, "What?" Khushi makes a face as if she is about to share a big secret and says, "I have seen it in their eyes, they are hiding something from us! Some big conspiracy! They all are in it together?" "Who.. all?" "Nanhe ji, Di, Jiji, Jijaji.. and even Nani ji!" all animated she says, "I tell you Arnav ji, they all are cooking a huge conspiracy against us." Puzzled Arnav asks, "What do you mean?" "For the Sangeet. Music!" Khushi says. Relieved Arnav smiles to himself and says, "You are worried about it?" Frustrated Khushi says, "Yes!" Arnav's smirk deepens, "What the!" "That's what.. I am saying too! What the!" Khushi says. As Arnav controls his smile, Khushi grabs his hand and pulls him, "Come with me!" "Where?" Khushi says aggravated, "To se what those people are up to!" "Khushi, if they want to surprise you.." Khushi tells him off, "I don't care, Arnav ji! I just want to know what they are up to! Come on!" Khushi pulls him with her.
Khushi drags Arnav hand in hand to the stage. Aakash sits with a sign in his hand, curtains down, guards the stage Aakash shows them the stop sign and jumps to his feet. Khushi demands, "We want to go inside!. " Aakash smiles and says, "No, you can't!" Khushi's jaw drops open, she pulls Arnav on the other side And says, "What? You will say no to Bhai?" Arnav tries to interrupt, "Khus.. h.." Khushi continues, "Jijaji! You will say no to Arnav Bhaiyya?" Arnav's smile widens.. Aakash looks at him and says, "Yes.. I mean, no, he cannot!" Khushi is about to say something Aggravated, when Arnav controls her, grabs her and and asks in a low voice, "Khushi, what are you doing?" Khushi is about to say something aggravated, "Arnav ji.. you!" when Aakash interrupts, "Excuse me, Love Birds!" then he stands on one side and claps, makes a welcoming gesture to Arnav and Khushi. Lights go down and Aakash disappears behind the curtains. Khushi asks upset, 'Arnav ji, what is going on?" Arnav says calmly, "Khushi, they must be keeping it a surprise for you, that's why!.. Relax!" Khushi almost throws a childish tantrum and says, "But.. I wanted to know before the curtain lifts!"
Just then appears NK on the stage as a spotlight covers him, "Ladies and the Gentlemen of the ladies! Presenting, the Handsome Groom and the beautiful bride!. Nannav and Khushi ji. !" Khushi claps an d jumps with happiness.. Arnav smiles. Family and friends welcome them with a clap and smiles on their faces. Payal gets them seated. Khushi's smile knows no bounds. As she sits next to Arnav and smiles ear to ear non stop. Nani asks Anjali, "Where is Subhadra?" Anjali answers, "Shyam ji has gone to get Dadi!" "Okay," says Nani.
Upstairs.. Dadi finds a picture upside down on the table in her room, strategically placed there by Shyam. She picks it up and looks at it. She is shocked to find that picture of Garima and her son.. "This picture.. from where?" she wonders. Shyam pops up from behind, "Yes, Dadi ji! I know everything! " it's now Dadi's turn to get shocked at Shyam's revelation.
Mami joins NK on the stage, 'hello Hi Bye Bye! Welcome to the music of Arnav and Ph.. ph.. " she struggles.. NJK waves at Khushi,. Mami says, 'I mean, dear Khushi!" Everyone claps. NK says, "Sorry, Khushi ji, surprise has to be kept a surprise! But I promise you that this ceremony will be very distinct music ceremony!.. and you will never forget this day!" Arnav watches Khushi as she giggles and claps.
Shyam explains to Dadi, "Dadi ji, I got suspicious when you told me that the name of that other woman was Garima. Dadi ji, you probably don't know but she was hiding from you during Haldi ceremony. Well, that's when my suspicion turned into belief!" Shyam tries to impress Dadi, "Dadi ji, you know that I am a lawyer! I don't make claims without any proof. That's why I brought this photo from Khushi ji's house! Dadi ji, I would have shown you this picture yesterday but' you met with Mamsi ji before that!" Dadi's gaze continues to weigh Shyam' as he continues, "I saw everything that happened between you and Masi ji!" Now he pushes his agenda forward, "I had thought that after all of this, you would not allow the wedding to take place. But.. you put the Kangan on Khushi ji!" Dadi's penetrating gaze settles on Shyam.
NK announces, "There was a girl.. completely crazy but very sweet.. always used to talk very sweetly.. " Khushi smiles. Giggles as she hears about herself. Mami then takes the microphone, "And there was a boy.. very handsome! Face just like a hero!.. but adorned with anger all the time! Arnav looks at Khushi, finds her stealing a gaze at him. Mami says, "One day, they crossed paths." NK adds,"and then their love started.. Curtains come down and lights go off on the stage. Khushi puffs up her cheeks like a little girl. Arnav tries to calm her down, "Relax!"
Shyam says, "Forgive me, Dadi ji but, I cannot tolerate what's happening. Especially after finding out the truth!" Dadi is a seasoned player. Much more shrewd than Shyam.. she won't give in so easily into Shyam.. all she says is, "So, what do you think, Damad ji? Nothing is as simple as it seems. I won't forgive that Garima so easily. Never! She will have to go through punishment for her wrong doing. Not just her. .. both her daughters too! Especially, Khushi!" Shyam looks at Dadi puzzled, "Dadi ji, those Kangan.. bracelets?" Dadi says sternly, "I know what I am doing!" gives Shyam a sharp look and leaves. Shyam's frustration and anger mount. Restless he paces and says with frustration, "Don't know what this Dadi is up to? Arey, she has this huge secret revealed..still did nothing! No! I cannot wait for Dadi to do something! Who knows if she does anything or not! I can't miss this huge opportunity. Never! .. Now, I must do something!" Shyam's eyes narrow down..
Downstairs, first presentation begins.. Buaji and Payal dance.. Khushi dances in her place sitting next to Arnav. "Listen, Groom's people, tell us if what we have heard is true! The groom is very egoistic.. very obnoxious! How can he love our dear girl?... He cannot change a tire, does not like to light a diya. Lamp. .. How can he love our dear girl? .. He is always immersed in work. Bluetooth stuck in his ear.. what kind of love will he give to our dear girl?" Buaji and Payal leave the stage.. Now enter NK and Mami, they dance away teasing the bride now, "Listen, the Bride's people, tell us if what we have heard is the truth! Bride speaks in her sleep.. can never walk without stumbling..How can she love our son! .. eats berries al the time.. puts clothes on inside out! ,, how can she love our son? She never concentrates on her work.. spills hot tea on the groom. What kind of love will she give our son?" Khushi and Arnav enjoy the performance. Arnav smiles and Khushi opens her mouth wide in surprise at times, giggles at times, claps and jumps pother times..
Shyam comes downstairs now. Some people walk over tio him and talk as his eyes keep searching for something. Dadi follows in.. as soon as she walks in, some guests greet her.
Buaji and Payal come back, 'She is as beautiful as an angel! She brings happiness to the house she goes.. He will be thankful to get such a bride! She always says sweet things.. she is our invaluable Khushi. He will be thankful for such a bride! " Dadi's eyes spot Garima' she walks over and sits down next to her. Smile disappears from Garima's face as soon as she looks at Dadi. Dadi looks at her with a faint smile on her lips.. Garima puts her hands together to greet her, Dadi nods.. to imply that everything is alright before turning her gaze away full of disgust. Shyam watches their interaction keenly as Nani dances her way on the stage.in defense of Arnav, "She will be thankful for such a groom! There is a secret in his sealed lips.. his style of love is different.. Love is wrapped in his anger.. one can see that in his eyes.. she will be thankful to have such a groom!" Anjali joins Dadi on the stage. Now Aakash, Payal, Buaji, Nani, NK, Anjali and Mami all dance together. Khushi claps enthusiastically.. Arnav smiles. Khushi Khushui Khuhsi.. my dear, you are not a child who is watching a fun game show.. it's the music ceremony in honor of you and Arnav before your wedding.. how about behaving in a more dignified way.. I am not saying that you cannot enjoy but giggles and expressions like a five year old do not bring you any dignity.. nor do they bring you any liveliness.. it makes you look childish.. not innocent! I love you dear and I love Arnav too.. but I want to see that dignified Khushi that I saw in the garden! Ah, well!
Garima feels uncomfortable in Dadi's company. As Garima gets up to leave, bang comes Dadi's hand that hold her in place and directs her to sit back down. Garima looks at her a bit scared, a bit uncomfortable.. apprehensively.. Dadi looks at her and makes a comforting gesture with her eyes. Shyam now is angered, thinks, "I thought that dadi would reveal Masi ji's secret to all. BBut she is meeting with Masi ji as if nothing ever went wrong between them! Wonder what this Dadi want! Is she going to so anything or not? Just then walks in a guy and hands Shyam a white envelope, "For you, Shyam babu!" Shyam takes a quick look inside.. it's the restored picture of Garima with Arnav's father.. Shyam is shocked! As he keeps an eye on Dadi and Garima, he moves away slightly to make a call. He says angrily on th phone. "What did I tell you ? That I would come to pick up the picture! Was it necessary to send it home? ..then he adds, "What if someone else would have received it?"
Shyam hangs up. He takes another look at the picture as he keeps an eye on Dadi. Shyam's mind goes racing as soon as he looks at the restored pictured, "It's good that now we can see the face of father-in-law. My idea of getting the picture restored was great! But.. what if. . I did all of this for a wrong person! This Dadi is keeping Mum. She failed my plan. Well, now I would use it when needed." Shyam is startled by someone's hand on his shoulder. He looks above, then turns his shoulder and around .. It's Anajli, she asks, "What are you doing here?" Shyam hides the photo.. and makes an excuse, "Nothing, Rani Sahiba! I just had to make some phone calls.." Anjali pleads in loving fashion, "Everyone is enjoying so much! Come with me, you know!" Then she spots the white envelope in Shyam's hand, she quickly grabs the envelope and says, "Whenever I see, you talk of work!" She takes and throws the envelope on another table, grabs Shyam by his arm and says, "Come!" Shyam's eyes keep returning to that white envelop as he follows Anjali. Anjali brings him crowd and says, "I will be right back!" Just then Aakash comes on stage. Greets guests and family. Now look over hear! Then he calls for ,"Curtains!" The dance begins with "Kathputali" and then appears NK on stage suited as Arnav.. and Mami as Khushi .. they dance to bring the love story of Arnav and Khushi.. based on what NK was told by Arnav when Khushi was upset with Arnav and based on what Mami knows about Khushi. Beginning from how Khushi and Arnav bumped into each other that night at the fashion show in Lucknow. Buaji and Payal go on the stage and ward of evil. Nani then comes on the stage and wishes happiness to the couple, all join in and the dance concludes.
