Dadi Sexist to own Sex?!

Why is Dadi sexist to her own sex? She is blaming Khushi for being the other woman in Shayam's life (which she clearly is not) BUT why is she NOT blaming Shayam? Shouldn't he be held more responsible for having an affair as a married man? Same goes for Arnav's dad. I am not for the other woman in his life, who had a relationship with him knowing he was married, but what about the man? why isn't he held responsible? Dadi hates the other woman who came into her son's life, but why does she not hate her son, who despite being married and a father chose to purse an illicit affair? shouldn't he be held at a higher degree of being the irresponsible party? Why is nothing being said to Shayam by dadi? Fine Dadi might believe the woman trapped him, but is he that gullible, why can't dadi chide him for being so vulnerable to another woman's charms, was her grand-daughter not enough?

I don't know if to woman like Dadi there can be no fault of "their" children and only the "other" party can be at fault, but I am sick of this ignorance that her character is portraying.

I agree with Sanika. My brother always argues that women are oppressed in India, because they have forced that oppression upon themselves. Women teach women to behave a certain way, a way which in the eyes of the man is acceptable. It is the very women who rather than supporting for their sex chide them in public.
