They didn't abort a nameless, faceless foetus- the CVs murdered a baby girl.

A father murdered his own daughter for money.
A mother had no concern over the wellbeing of her own child and instead chose to walk some Glassneepath to prove her "love" for her husband was above all else.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon finally makes sense. I've said this in Ridz's thread earlier today, but absolutely nobody working on the show has even a remote idea of what love is. No wonder they can't effing NAME it.

They don't understand any form of it- sibling, spousal, paternal, maternal, filial- even just friendship. And they have no intention of TRYING to understand.

The keep spouting out "MAHA TWIST" after "MAHA TWIST" which they think will raise TRPs but in actual fact just loses more and more of their core audience by giving us utter bullshit that nobody gives two tosses about.

They do not understand that what drew us to this show was the simplicity of it. It wasn't overly dramatic- the drama was believable for the world these characters inhabited and the situations weren't beyond any realm of possibility.

The relationships- oh the bonds between the characters, the way everything wove together so beautifully... It was so real. Almost tangible.

We rooted for the characters and both laughed and suffered along with them- they taught us lessons even as we watched. It was the closest thing to realistic we would get in the world of Indian drama.

A miscarriage is a huge deal and so the focus SHOULD move onto Anjali but this will be to the further detriment of Arnav and Khushi. Once again, she will not get the wedding she dreamed of and deserves, if she even gets one at all.

I can no longer watch the show because it kills all inspiration for my FFs for days- I prefer to remember what the characters used to be and write with that in mind.

And now they've introduced infanticide to all the f**kery that was already going on. Fantastic. I hope the past is revealed quickly and they, true to character, completely forget to explain W*F happened to Khushi's parents and end the show because the whole thing is making me sick.

Sorry to rant and become progressively more and more angry throughout this but if they make miscarriage as big a joke as they have made suicide, I think I will be forced to fly to India and throw up on all the writers' faces.

You have said it all.. 👏 the PH seems to be affected by the sliding or stagnant TRPs .. so they are aping the plots in other serials to see if they could get it to move.. yesterday's episode was the pits... all of next week we will have to watch a grieving Anjali ... she was partly responsible in the murder of her unborn baby so who will sympathise her... she will make ASR feel guilty and ruin the happiness of others too by her stupid mistakes...

I am pretty sure DB would not have thought about her character turning negative when she did the negotiations with the PH... if the PH thinks there will a change in the TRPs due to the sympathy vote, it ain't gonna work here... Anjali and Shyam are well matched both need help...

Hey Sudha, I think I will give next week's episodes a skip.. I simply cannot bear to watch Anjali crying and the rest hovering around her... Man she is an attention seeker... 😡

And yeah...before we even go to limpy wimpy walking on the glass shards..I remember they had made such a huge fuss of her brace coming out in the Kanya pooja episode and over here she's walking without shoes?? 😕
And who would give more importance to a 30+ man who knows his way in and out of the house where he's supposedly stuck but could enter, to an unborn child who doesn't know anything else other than his/her mother's womb?? Plain wierd I tell you...That lady has no common sense...Well, it's too much to ask for...

Simply marvelous and great writing, you have hit the jugular with this one, problem is we are the one who know and think this, the CV's are bunch of sadist or they are plain stupid who dont care either way.
Too many cook spoils the dish and they should know that no one cares for so many twists when the others are still hanging around like damp clothing...what about shashi's accident, shyam's cheating money, garima and buaji and many more and then they just keep coming...even though no one wants it anymore.
The limit was yesterday when a girl child was killed for the sake of TRP...that was just revolting, not one person here can say that they loved watching it, acting wise the actress sucks, she is bad we all know that...what she wants to potray only she knows but to agree to this gore and this stupidity is height of craziness

As always late to the party on your thread but then better late than never

Wow what a direct and hard hitting post no words minced and the truth standing out 👏

What we witnessed yesterday was the Entertainment equivalent of what our politicians do to raise the maximum possible pandemonium with the minimum possible effort of self exposure and ethical values be damned or similar to a bloody cheap stunt pulled by a very unscrupulous TV journalist(?) in a made for TV news ratings war when he unashamedly took advantage of a moment when a young woman's modesty was being outraged to goad the hooligans to give her hell and strip her bare, all in the name of making sure folks eye balls popped out of their sockets when his channel got to be the most tuned in for the news to watch the molestation of a woman and he would have gotten away with it if it were not for the heat from the public over this incident Now its another matter that the memory has faded from the viewers mind

Anjali was shown to have been completely taken aback in sheer delight and shock over this miracle of God that she least expected I will not go into the details of that stupid live in wedding inflicted on all of us but suffice to say they built the cause around this pregnancy
The CV's chose to show the progress of the said pregnancy on and off depending upon the scene or episode they wanted filled Bas! We all expected the pregnancy to play out in tandem with the contract our attention being on the love story and not the historical Egyptian Dynasty sort of track. No guesses there at my hint
Yesterday the heights of ludicrousness was attained when she stepped on glass and put on that annoying little girl voice of hers with the most piteous poor me face to garner sympathy Remove the damn piece anybody would have as a first instinct and yes like La said call or yell for someone why did they have to show her as some bloody martyr dragging her foot while invoking her husbands name and then ending up being electrocuted juxtaposing that scene with the entire family dancing happily Left a very bad and acrid taste in my mouth and instead of compassion all I felt was anger over the sudden change in story priorities and leads yes I am shallow so sue me😛

The less said about the actor's inclination to wear the prosthetic the better for my own peace of mind as I may rant into territories not amenable to the longevity of this thread

I found it to be a puke worthy moment when I saw ground zero again.

There have been so many symbolic interpretations and theories floating around of past hate revenge to a need for settling score on the part of the father mother uncle cousin hell I wont be surprised if Lakshmi decides to get even and have no issues with that as after all it is a drama but what I do have a problem is when they decide to throw in foeticide as a TRP shocker just to jolt the viewers into watching which in my view is highly unpalatable and downright pathetic Was the scene of a murderous father taking malicious pleasure in watching the mother of his unborn babies writhe around in pain added just to remind us why he won best villain award? else what justification for this?

I watched IPKKND because it was sans drama melodrama of the familial kind but now the very embodiment of everything I used to sensibly avoid on TV Who should I blame?

Swathi🤗
Lovie the problem is I dont feel hate for shyam because that is him, he is bad we know that although his past attempts were of a bumbling idiot and a dolt we know he is a black soul, it is revolting but we can handle it because the actor who does it is good and he potrays emotions well...
Here we dont know what Myrtle wants me to feel? i cannot get her because she is not showing me how she is, the actress is bad in her acting because she cannot evoke that sympathy in me. Another thing is the fact she ALLOWED it...she knows she is pregnant, and she knows hubby is hiding those are the facts correct???now who should be your priority???? you child!!!! husband can and has looked after himself and the most important thing is you are HURT!!! you obviously know carpet has glass shards...and they were big too so why are you still in your condition roaming around??
Imagine this a person almost ready to deliver loves horse riding, there is a competition so chances are you have to go fast and you know that will not be good for the baby, so if you still go ahead and then lose the baby is that the horse's fault???? answers all the questions doesnt it???
Love what you said love, who cares for symbolisms and other crap when the show is on its way to kingdom come

Vibha Great post.

You know my take on weeping willow so I won't start again.

Just wait and watch until Monday epi airs. The woman who tried to kill her own baby BECAUSE her husband doesn't get any respect, who didn't take any meds until every tom, dick and harry in the house reminded her, who didn't bother to check her feet and STILL tried to get down the stairs with broken glass will behave as if she lost her life. While the baby is alive she didn't give tow hoots about it but see how she'll use it to her advantage to emotionally blackmail ASR into bringing shyam back.

I'll have sympathy for her IF AND ONLY IF she chooses to rise above this, being to put two and two together and start doubting Shyam and will keep her brother's happiness above all and let the remarriage happen.

Siri,
Lovie I dont care anymore the series is gone for me so I dont care whether remarriage happens or not...but i do know this that myrtle is a sick woman in head that is and she will use this to her advantage and manipuate more..
As a pregnant lady she never ever thought of her kid unless it was to manipulate others, she never looked after herself and in my eyes she killed her own kid, she had the phone with her how about using that as a light and calling for help???hubby is not around and even if he is who cares your child comes first...
I personally dont think marriage will happen but that now more blaming khushi and we can see harvard and myrtle again hugging and touching each other and all...blehhh
