Any one could have played ASR... But no one could have made us fall in love with him...like Barun did!

No one could have amassed such a large, varied, intelligent, dedicated, fervent fan base as Barun did!

No one could have made us desperate enough that we would rather end the show we loved, than see him be replaced!!

No one could have a year ago, told me that I would lose it over a Hindi soap and lived to tell the tale!!

Lose it is an an understatement if ever there was one!

And finally, no one could ever have dragged ME out of my comfort zone to do the things that I earlier scoffed at as being sophomoric, delusional and pure idiotic!

Happy to report that I am all that I said and more with a smile on my face!

If anyone would have played ASR there would be hate towards the character because of the character's portrayal in it's intial days.Many would have loved Khushi more than ASR.But Barun turned the tables with his acting which is beyond intense

That's a complex statement. Since it came during MAMR shooting, I wonder if it had indirect meaning. Maybe he meant that if we love BS, we should be ready to accept him in any role and not just ASR and he is right.

True, but the reverse may not be. We accept him as ASR, but not anyone else
