Farce of a First Date? [MOD p.39] - Page 2

I was bored. There was nothing to look forward to. In fact sub consciously I was perhaps expecting something like this. Romance has lost its intensity. Nowadays we get it with a dash of buffoonery which isn't funny. Rather it is irritating and gets on our nerves.

The comic scenes completely ruined it. It was supposed to be special. K doing something for A for the first time. And instead of reveling in the intensity of their unspoken promises and suppressed passion for each other, we had some very ill timed comic scenes. Why make a mockery out of someone's love? What was the point in reducing this special night into a a circus act of KKG pleasing her master? It was supposed to be momentous.

I wish the Cvs would stop stealing the thunder of their lead pair. Please stop it! We are sick and tired of watching Anjali and Shyam taking the center stage at the most momentous occasions of their lives.

After reading the written update, I was already cringing 😕
The message received by me from the CVs: ALL Desi's are Gawar without the western influence.
Dignity and poise are apparently limited to a few cultures! 😡

I haven't complained about the CVs... EVER! But everything has a first time I guess!
I am not angry at Khushi...I am angry at the CVs...Firstly they could have handled the entire wedding scenario better.

When they were stretching the story during IPLs...didn't they show superb episodes?
Swami act, of HIs bolti band, their indoor honeymoon, even their fights? They were so sweet! Even the kidnapping they handled it well. Showing ASR from time to time. If they could stretch then, why not now ?

But their actual wedding ? Why are the fast forwarding it ? Even their date. Firstly they could have shown it so much better. But they could have shown it so much longer as well. The HOTEL was so DRAB! Her hairstyle was sad! Because the interior was purple, the black was looking even more dull. The hotel should have been at least off-white/silver/cream for their dresses to stand out!

After dinner, they could have shown them going on a drive. Stopping to eat something silly. Him sending her off home. Even trying to get comfy in the car. Parking the car at a cliff. Sitting on the hood of the car and looking at their parents. Discussing how happy they would have been ! SOMETHING ???

In the last couple of episodes, why are they not completing the scenes? Abruptly the scenes are ending. The continuation the next day is erratic to say the least! I don't even feel like watching new episodes anymore! Re-watching old episodes makes it worse! Because there is such a huge difference in the quality of the product. Then, even though they hated each other, their chemistry was sizzling. Now that they are in LOVE with each other...what pakaogiri they are showing !

I know right! I felt cheated that the first date was so ho hum! He didn't say anything to her, granted he was amused that she was trying to change and he didn't want her to change. But that shouldn't stop him from appreciating her... A man in love would be oblong at his love... And he was just amused / watching her.

And hand holding... Or some flirting would be shown... But nothing ... Except for lovey Dovey stuff with poojali... 😕 Which just screams deception at me!

To be honest, I think its quite nice to see a more laid back ASR, him enjoying his romantic moments with Khushi and being humble, but today didnt click to me, the way he brought himself forward, I felt for one he had a single expression, and then when he had to mimic Khushi he did it so badly it looked fake, there is something B needs to work on for ASR, not sure what it is, but something is missing, it looked pretty much like ok "lets do this, done? can I go home now" kinda epi

I was cringing through out the episode.

I did rant quite a bit in your earlier post about what I feel for the team, episode, story and actors/characters in general.

They did the whole abrupt ending again, I wanted to see ASR driving Khushi home and them having a conversation in the extra 5 minutes left in the episode, but we see the "hai daya" crap.

I said previously too, Shyam coming was exciting, but now its irritating me the hell out of me, not because he gets screen time, but because the screen time he gets his doing the most stupid things ever.

There was no magic when arnav said " I love you the way you are" wish they had emphasised on that a bit more. To be honest, I had mute the episode because I was feeling embarassed myself to see Khushi embarrass herself.

Gosh I am have become like the weeping willow, always complaining, wonder what I should do to keep myself sane.

That was Barun Sobti NOT Arnav Singh Raizada in that episode and no that's not a compliment since as an actor he cant be himself on the screen while trying to portray someone else. I ranted in the other thread. So Im done ranting.

Just want to say VERY disappointed with Barun's acting today.

That is Barun having fun at this idiocy pretending to be a drama

SI has always been professional, whether its interviews or whether its performing a scene, I have never once felt khushi going off even if it is the most stupidest storyline!! I dont think Barun has any fun these days, his expressions make me judge him quite a bit😉
