I will stop here since I dont want this thread to get closed for 'negative critisizm'

Again, I want to go back to the thought that the way Arnav is presented is as much the director's responsibilty as the actor's. I don't think I've ever really commented on Arshad's directing capabilities before. But, I personally am now feeling that maybe Barun and Arshad are such good friends, that Arshad maybe isn't as tough on Barun as he should be. I think that with Lalit - from what I saw - Barun maybe had a greater respect level and there was a more distinct line between actor and director. I think this is necessary to get your actor to perform to their greatest ability - no matter how small the scene is, or how insignificant the dialogue may seem.
On the other hand, I think that Barun's level of interest and perhaps his view of the show has probably changed. This isn't his only option anymore. So, I don't know how that has impacted his performance.
Whatever the reasons are, I want the old intensity back. In the writing, the directing, AND acting at every level. Everyone involved with the show needs to stop feeding us mediocrity or half-baked episodes. We expect more. In Friday's episode, there was such an *obvious* editing blunder that I was shocked that they submitted an episode to be aired like that. (I won't say what that blunder was - b/c I'm sure most of you saw it!). It just again emphasizes the lack of attention to detail. This needs to change.

hey Shriya, for a moment I thought BW was Balika W(v)adu and I was shocked beyond words that he would say the rival show is better. And then realised its Bollywood 😆
Did he really say that? yickes!

Sometimes I wonder if he could be doing other movies, we have such big name like Ram Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Karan Singh Grover, Mohit and others all trying lucks in movies, but they don't gain fame as much as they did in television, when a actor makes their debut in bollywood they are given such high importance and talk of the town personality, but here we never see telly actors getting to that level. We have someone like Rajeev Khandalwal who is another example, he left the famous show Kahin to Hoga and left his fans disappointed for movies, he even had a spat with Ekta over it, but has he really obtained that fame he looked for😕 Not being rude and negative but just wondering why the graph of a telly actor is so...😕

KSG and Aamna and Shilpa and all the popular actors, were so good in their times, they ruled television, but then once they left the talk stopped, and then they return back to television after running around like headless chickens

FB, I am suffering from Anjali delusions too. I am thinking praying hoping that they would redeem themselves but I get disappointed even more. Maybe they would see our POV and make necessary changes.

His exact words being 'ppl who don't end up in BW end up in telly'

Although I am in a little confused state of mind as I wonder if my dislike for ASRs character potrayal is over lapping with my feelings towards Sobti.

After all used to swoon over the man pretty much 24/7. Sigh.

Just a qs is Arshad on vacation?Coz fridays and todays episode lacked the signature detailed direction thats usually there when he directs.

Girl, LM, Arshad, The original Cvs, they all are on a life long vacation. They have deserted the sinking ship faster 😆

Goodnight girls, Annie, Sudha, Hiru, Swathi, FB, Faiza, Lali and every body else.
Catch you all tomorrow after another disaster of an episode. 🤗

Hi! Sudha 😊

Hi Lali,
I do not want to say this. But I don't think it is a episode you want to watch.
it ruined ASR/Arnav for me completely and Kushis role was that of a silly goof and less said about Anjali the better.
The only good thing for me was Shyams Ass. And now, saying that itself, should tell you how much the rest of the episode sucked !!!

So as usual, I am late to the party.

Everyone has said all the things I wanted to say and hence I have nothing much to add.
So, let me just add the following.
If Gul Khan ever wants me as a customer to any of her future shows, she better, wrap this up, as quickly as possible, with the same grace, beauty, heart warming, emotional and completely satisfied exit of La. We viewers who loved it when it was good and who supported it during the main leads absence, who opposed the promotion of individual actors negotiations for more screen space, who criticised with merit and facts all the crap they showed and yet watched and ranted in hopes of a brighter future, we fans deserve an exit as unique as its start.
If these juvenile idiots masquerading as CVs make this show end in a fart the way todays first date did, then, I am sure, Gul will not only lose all credibility, but she effectively will lose any future audience for her future shows.
because one thing is guarnateed. She may get a better, story, better creative team, but she will not get two leads who will set the screen on fire like BS and SI did (once upon a time).
So, if Gul wants any kind of appreciation, she better wrap this up quickly, gracefuly and leaving us with a sense of feeling entertained, happy and most importantly, forget the horror that was the middle.
Sorry, unable to rant properly.

Loopy my love, you said it!
I really want the show to wrap up now because I can tell that the more they prolong and strech the show the more mediocre it would become and I do not want my favourite show (yes it still is my favourite how much mediocre it is 😭) to loose the little (shaky) ground it's still standing on.
I want it to close with a mindblowing epic finale which will be etched inside our hearts and will be fondly reminisced for years.

I agree to most part of your post. Why are they showing us the romantic scenes in such a hurried manner ? ASR 's passion for khushi was not very evident today. ASR looked very conscious today as if he had come on a date for the first time ! But all ASR's restaurant scenes were similar to today's ASR behaviour. Remember Arhi following payash meeting in a hotel. Guess ASR is bindaas with khushi only at RM and GH. I will ignore it though today.
I will ignore it because I think I got the essense of today's episode. You see, the actual focus of today's episode was meant to be the suspense of whether anjali-shyam hide/seek date will meet the arhi date !!!!!!!!!! So, when they ended the suspense they didnt want to focus anymore on arhi by following them on their return home. !!!!!!! Looks like this was not supposed to be a romantic date for arhi.. apart from the suspense part, it is just a date meant for a few laughs and to get ASR say that he loves khushi as she is .
(BTW, Are they trying to bring in a comparision between arhi and payash ? Remember payal too tried to go to a party wearing an outfit which she was not comfortable in ... what is with thes GH girls ?)

Arnav Singh Raizaada here, with a public image of one who is suave, sophisticated , ruthless and an uncompromising businessman

That was then, now I am seen as this smirking, quirky eyed, eyebrow raising, unshaven , unkempt unwashed man who has altered to an unrecognisable level
This doe eyed beauty with a hundred watt smile, fair of face and a lush and curvaceous body has captured and captivated me
Now one would think this would induce me to spruce myself and smarten up instead of looking like tramp in a suit living in a carboard box out on the streets
