Thanks, Sudha, it is a sad day indeed for the show and for us that we feel it is best not to bother.

I had a look at the WU and thought I might give the first half a miss and watch the rest and spare myself the horror of the pathetic date.

As you say it is for the best if they wrapped up the show with grace, but knowing the cvs, i doubt if they're even capable of doing at least that. I'm bracing myself for an abrupt, illogical end to the show.
What a phenomenal waste of good talent, a good story and a devoted audience!

Loopy my love, you said it!

I really want the show to wrap up now because I can tell that the more they prolong and strech the show the more mediocre it would become and I do not want my favourite show (yes it still is my favourite how much mediocre it is 😭) to loose the little (shaky) ground it's still standing on.
I want it to close with a mindblowing epic finale which will be etched inside our hearts and will be fondly reminisced for years.

Hiru,
Missed you so much. I also think, the constant feeling of big brother watching us and closing our threads because some teenagers reporting is also causing some level of discomfort and uneasiness. Having to constantly keep it on topic is hard. It is not like any other threads do. I know for a fact the SG thread, the redux and other threads which have more than 200 replies all usually go off topic a lot too. But I guess, we need some high powered people participate in our threads as well.
IPKKND of late is like Garlic to me.
Everything about its smell, taste is 🤢, but you eat it because it is good for you.
Why is IPKKND good for me. So I get to interact with all you wonderful, beautiful, intelligent souls.
Case of side effects giving you more bang for the buck than the actual medicine.

Enigma u hit the nail...

I am just going to start my rant by asking one question that has been bothering me since morning...
"What goes in the mind script writer who 50% of the time njoys degrading the female lead and the remaining 50% wants to laugh at her expense?"

What upsets me very much about this track is

1) Ok even I never expected to see classy kHushi suddenly...y make her into a clown talli and all...she is not wordly experienced but she is not stupid...are they forgetting the diwali episodes or the cocktail party episodes when the same Khushi in a big RM party was sensuous, poised and matured. Do they need us to remind them about their own show.

2) Isn't this the wedding of the main leads who got so many awards for the show...and when other shows make a huge deal out such an event...we see the most imp part of a LOVE story being brushed aside like being insignificant

This is unfair to the viewers who have patiently sat through weepingjali scenes, all the swami's, missing main lead, overly irritating masala mama's and bubbly and the pathetic dadi's stop signs.😡

they r making ASR look awesome at the expense of Khushi ..y not give her the due she deserves... No offense meant to ASR but just the way they wrote the story to make him look good after everything he did... y cant they give the same treatment to khushi😡

Again, I want to go back to the thought that the way Arnav is presented is as much the director's responsibilty as the actor's. I don't think I've ever really commented on Arshad's directing capabilities before. But, I personally am now feeling that maybe Barun and Arshad are such good friends, that Arshad maybe isn't as tough on Barun as he should be. I think that with Lalit - from what I saw - Barun maybe had a greater respect level and there was a more distinct line between actor and director. I think this is necessary to get your actor to perform to their greatest ability - no matter how small the scene is, or how insignificant the dialogue may seem.
On the other hand, I think that Barun's level of interest and perhaps his view of the show has probably changed. This isn't his only option anymore. So, I don't know how that has impacted his performance.
Whatever the reasons are, I want the old intensity back. In the writing, the directing, AND acting at every level. Everyone involved with the show needs to stop feeding us mediocrity or half-baked episodes. We expect more. In Friday's episode, there was such an *obvious* editing blunder that I was shocked that they submitted an episode to be aired like that. (I won't say what that blunder was - b/c I'm sure most of you saw it!). It just again emphasizes the lack of attention to detail. This needs to change.

I must say I agree with you when you say Arshad and Barun might be too good friends so that the amount of command needed in their working environment cannot be pulled off by the director. I have seen this happen too many times in my own personal experiences when the boss getts too chummy with the employees working under him and after a time period cannot make them follow instructions/reprimand them when needed without getting personal.
I remember watching this Rangmunch interview where barun and Arshad were playing trick question games as if they were old chums.
Now that you have pointed this out, that interview definetly showed that they are more friends than colleagues. I dont find that a problem as long as they can maintain a healthy working environment.

So I am guessing the forum is waking up? I have seen about 5-6 posts complaining about the similar things we are, but there are certain fanatics that are very rude claiming watch something else if you dont like it, so we should only praise and not critise, silly people.

Sometimes I wonder if he could be doing other movies, we have such big name like Ram Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Karan Singh Grover, Mohit and others all trying lucks in movies, but they don't gain fame as much as they did in television, when a actor makes their debut in bollywood they are given such high importance and talk of the town personality, but here we never see telly actors getting to that level. We have someone like Rajeev Khandalwal who is another example, he left the famous show Kahin to Hoga and left his fans disappointed for movies, he even had a spat with Ekta over it, but has he really obtained that fame he looked for😕 Not being rude and negative but just wondering why the graph of a telly actor is so...😕

KSG and Aamna and Shilpa and all the popular actors, were so good in their times, they ruled television, but then once they left the talk stopped, and then they return back to television after running around like headless chickens

having never followed much hindi shows, I dont know alot about these actors, but one thing is clear. Hardly any actually seem to cut into the B world. I know that many of the youngesters getting into the arena have a huge back up system. I know for a fact that all these famous kids have publicists, PR specialists, managers who actually script everything from all their public appearances to unofficial public appearances. Every single thing is coordinated from scratch and how they appear to the public is managed by a team.
I hope sobti is making the right decission if he's actually going to quit the show and venture into greener pastures (if ever they will me greener for him). It's not easy out there.
