hi tennismaniac,

i watch outside india so am not a part of trp audience. but more pertinently, trp's themselves seem to be fudged and are being questioned by advertisers and media. just for your info.

I agree with you. I live in the US so I can't help with the TRP, but I think most people tend to watch it online and a lot of the fans are not from India.

IPKKND right now has very tough competition. We lost a lot of viewers during the kidnapping phase (this is when the trps dropped below 3)...and still havent regained them. Meanwhile BV has picked up steam and they are coming up with new twists and turns every other day. There might be a love triangle of sorts coming up as well...hence it drawing more & more audience. Not just this show...in the same time slot, Mahadev is also doing well..and then there is the new show on Zee.

All this is not helping IPK...the other shows are strongly promoted, while IPK is hardly so. Now they are starting to promote...but I feel they are not promoting the right content.I hope the PH and Channel, comes together on this and work together to bring its old glory back.

I abs enjoy watching this show. If the channel doesnt care much for TRPs, I wouldnt have been bothered by all this. But they do..and i would like to see this show for atleast couple of years( am sure majority of the forum members would agree with me on this)

So, people in India, Kindly watch the show at 8pm sharp and no catching up at the repeat telecast. Wish SP removes the repeat at 11 and put it at 1:30 or so

A lot of ppl lost interest in the show when they showed khushi and arnav at khushi's house and then the kidnapping. A cousin of mine..she was in love with the serial...now she says i don't watch it...coz its boring.
Even i was bored during those tracks and switched on to different channels when i couldn't handle the boredom anymore.
With dadi coming in and the wedding happening...everything is goin on smooth..they even show shyam, some romantic stuff and everything...but u know its very difficult to get back the audience once they have lost interest. There has to big something huge to pull that audience. even the remarriage or arnav's past is not helping get back to the trp which we had. And if you look at the 8 pm slot IPKKND has a tough competition. In BV also i think they are showing the remarriage..and then we have Mahadev..i mean both the serials have their audience who prefer watching it during the 8pm slot over IPKKND and they watch the repeat telecast of others. This atleast happens in my family/relatives donno about others. IPKKND has to do something huge for the remarriage..like the other tv serials do in the marriage tracks to gain trps...you know like really grand...and also promote it from beforehand.
