See normally in punjabis the red chuda comes from maternal uncle n u wear it in before the marriage ceremony. somewhat like haldi which they will shw in IPK ,,,,, n then the bride gets ready for marriage ceemony, n now a days its fashionable to sport it too, so a lot of brides they arent punjabi but north indian they wear it post the ceremony n on occassion in the first year as it highlights their newly wedded status,,,, but i wore during my phera ceremony so I decided for removing it post a small puja at the end of 3 months

dunt we all do that sometimes sport uncomfy earring or shoes to look trendy similarly pppl do a lot of wierd things see i loved the chuda n the feel it gv me n i commited for 3 months but i didnt realise that it was summer + i m obese so it restricts me
