Now if Shyam had told Dadi all about khushi: why didnt Dadi recognize her right away?? Is it possible that she just has a really bad impression of Khushi and first impressions are lasting ones, so she is now just hating Khushi out of some misplaced sense of ego and pride and distaste?

There are many instances when it looks like Shyam and Dadi are in cahoots...and for some reason, I am beginning to feel that Dadi is just hating Khushi because of the above two reasons and perhaps a bit more because of her pride and ego and ASR's blatant love for Khushi in face of Dadi's hate.

Dadi and Garima:

- Dadi has been neutral/kind to payal.

Neutral: when she asked Payal to ensure all the celebrations are done perfectly in the previous episodes.

Kind: was that a hint of a smile we saw on her face when Payal strode forward today to give shagun to Khushi? Was that a hint of annoyance at Mami for calling Payal's home a refuge camp?

- now if Dadi was to hate khushi because she is garima's daughter, wouldn't by that token she would hate Payal...we can see she clearly hasn't been rude/caustic to her.

Refuge camp:

other than the obvious batameezi of mami (which was again unchecked by her son! grr Akaash! wake up!...look at NK atleast reacting to this by staring at payal and then at Akaash) i am just going to go out on a limb and wonder if Garima provided refuge for the other woman in ASR's dad's life??

I believe Dood's analysis saying khushi's parents death served as the catalyst for the truth to come out. Which means that khushi's mom had nothing to do with ASR's dad. And garima doesnt look like the kind of person who would go around doing this kind of stuff. But Garima is scared senseless about Dadi..so she must have defied her in the past. The only way I think she could have would be to go against her wishes or to stand up to her (perhaps by helpin the 'other woman' who Dadi seems to detest heartily.).

Small aside:

The biologist in me wont let me let this pass: there is no nerve that connects the ring finger to the heart. That is complete Balderdash!!. Utterly romantic, yes oh yes, but not based in fact. Just saying because if someone gave me a penny every time this was said in bollywood or brown soaps, I would be a millionnaire by now.

1. It was a contract marriage for her but she treated it like a real one always...I don't agree that she didnot care two cents for the marriage.. she tried to irritate Arnav to tell her the reason why she had been married in the first place in the hope she could iron the situation.

2.She didnot forget the way they were married because we have seen flashbacks of the marriage night being relieved by Khushi..

1&2) Yes she treated as real ones..but since she is leaving after 6 months..why bother how it happened

3. I agree Arnav made her unconfortable with his teasing on SR it flustered the poor girl she could not think straight...but her dialogues whether pheras come before... and that she doesnot know wedding in wedding rituals pheras are required was poorly written.. Now when Khushi tries to teach ASR the significance of marriage rituals it looks a shallow track to me.

When did she say pheras comes later and SR first or vice versa😲

4.Arnav addressed once that she was his legally wedded wife.. I was hoping that it meant they had registered their wedding because a marriage is not legalized until it is done so..but I guess it was a passing dialogue...

Arnav should have shown marriage certificate..if legally its court marriage. he should have put full stop when dadi questioned about their illegal living

5. I would have like the plot much better if-

a) Khushi would have told arnav by herself that she doesnot feel right to continue as husband and wife because according to her they didnot have a proper marriage...rather than her menthos moment @ nani...

After knowing arnav..how he always force her to come back to RM..this would have worked??? after telling arnav he did not listen to her until DAdi..nani..anji forced him..so coming from khushi was not make any difference

b) Arnav would have realized that in fact he has stolen her dreams of a memorable wedding on her words and have obliged with the same...

This i was also expecting..but CVs disappointed me..i said i want arnav to remarry khushi not because of dadi but because khushi values that

6. I would have preferred a clash of ideologies of the protagonists to sort out the issue among themselves and then the family taking them to task about it and keeping them in the dark.

family has to come..because arnie is ziddi..would not have agree

Dadi seems pretty confident that the Garima from the past is Khushi's mom Garima. How?

I had an odd feeling that dadi has agreed to go ahead with all the rasam's but deep down she is confident that the wedding will not take place.

She is confident about the past blowing up.

Is history repeating itself?

Dadi is having a hard time digesting the fact that Arnav is rebelling out because of his love for a woman.

From a man who laughed at the idea of love, Arnav has now become the man who can't imagine spending a minute without Khushi.

Is Arnav more alike to his dad than he realizes or acknowledges?

Anjali has promised dadi she will make sure Arnav and Khushi doesn't meet after haldi. If Anjali makes Arnav promise, he will never go against it.

Will dadi use it in her advantage?

Garima is trying to run away from the situation instead of facing it.

Did she do something similar in the past?

Dadi comes across as a manipulative lady. She has not developed that skill overnight.

Did she use this skill of hers in the past?

Earlier dadi stressed on the fact that Arnav is taking a wrong decision, a wrong judgement (possibly indicating his stance about his father), Dadi does not blame her son for what happened in the past or even for the suicides.

How and why is she so confident? Was he really not at fault?

If spoilers are to be believed, the wedding is confirmed and SP has also supposedly approved the budget.

When will the promos come on air? 😕

TRPs take some time to pick up. Shouldn't the channel at least start promoting the rasams to generate interest among the viewers?

If the channel has approved the budget, please make good use of it and give new clothes to the actors at least for the rasams.
