Coming to your topic Hiru, you know what would be the final TRP suicide by the PH? If they promote this rewedding, give us all the rituals leading up to it, and stop the wedding somehow, possibly because of Shyamu or the past coming out. I feel this show is not ready for yet another hate track, not yet at least, how long has it been since the darned MU finished? It will be too much too soon, There is a limit to being sadistic. How about showing Arnav and Khushi sticking together for a change? Let the past come out and show these two not resorting to blaming each other for what their parents did, watch how the TRPs rise then. Because believe it or not, the kind of audience that IPK has, it does not thrive on negativity, unlike the toppers of the TRP chart where the demographic of the audience is actually different than out show's audience.

I agree with your post. Originally, I thought the TRPs must have been fixed in some way, but come to think of it they may very well be an accurate portrayal of the general feedback on this track or set of episodes. We've all loved the episodes because all of us who love to analyse are having a field day, but a normal audience doesn't draw parallels to past episodes or understand religious symbolism used. I personally don't want a cliched romance for them, but I feel a little cliche won't be too bad & maybe we'll manage to pick the TRPs up a bit!

I just watched the most cringeworthy romantic sequence ever on a drama - it was incredibly cheesy - yet it's the leader in the TRP race. The CVs just need to figure out where they're going wrong.
Personally, I've loved the past few episodes but I guess those that don't like to analyse or think whilst watching a show didn't. It's a true shame - personally, to me TRPs are irrelevant (unless they get ridiculously low, like in the 0.1-0.9 range) but as they matter to the PH... I just hope they use this as a wake-up call. Maybe show a little cheesy romance before ArHi, lure the ArHi lovers back to the show, then unleash the bomb of Snakewa! If Shyam intervenes in their love story this soon, the TRPs will sink even lower. Yes, we all want Shyam back and for him to act, but the PH needs to gain solid viewership first.

if you remember the TRP were at the highest when they got married.. that was enough to let them know what audience was wanting but since they ruined it.. what can be done
