Coming to your topic Hiru, you know what would be the final TRP suicide by the PH? If they promote this rewedding, give us all the rituals leading up to it, and stop the wedding somehow, possibly because of Shyamu or the past coming out. I feel this show is not ready for yet another hate track, not yet at least, how long has it been since the darned MU finished? It will be too much too soon, There is a limit to being sadistic. How about showing Arnav and Khushi sticking together for a change? Let the past come out and show these two not resorting to blaming each other for what their parents did, watch how the TRPs rise then. Because believe it or not, the kind of audience that IPK has, it does not thrive on negativity, unlike the toppers of the TRP chart where the demographic of the audience is actually different than out show's audience.

exactly..this is what people wants and this is what any normal indian daily soap will give to tis audience but this is IPKKND..has it ever done anything cliched? never..and thats what i love abt this show.but sadly trps are not counted from my part of the globe and im sure the same is the case with most of the people here...also i have dropped my expectations with the trp chart..just enjoy the show and send mails to SP occassionally thanking them for the show!!

Just out of curiosity i read the Written updates of the dhokla show, mature oldies love show, marriage musical chairs show, Desi Masterchef show, babies galore show, child bride show & many other such blah shows & i am actually shocked that with that miniscule non-existent story line they r higher than IPKKND.

I feel this show is way better than those kitchen politics & baby shower shows. But kya karen our mindset is diff frm that of the house wives who watch Indian soaps 😕

So my honest opinion is that IPKKND definitely deserves better TRPs.

You might be right but when the competitive shows are showing better content that appeals more to the audience we will have to take the lesser number right? It might not be the fact that our show isn't good, but it's not good enough.

The problem with the show is that they drag every track for so long that ppl stop caring what happens with the track. Regular audience wants a track to be closed before a new track opens up. If the track gets stretched like an elastic band, ppl lose interest and go to an other channel and watch another show. Many won't come back unless the other show really spoils their storyline and thus we lose audience and hence TRP's.

Also the shows which are our competition are really not Saas Bahu shows. I just started watching BV and have found it to be pretty progressive sometimes and the lead is really hot. I have not watched Mahadev but it seems to be a very lavishly mounted show with great production values and it has made Mythology hot and sexy. I think it is adapted from the book "Immortals of Meluha".

In the past 6 months our story has not moved while our competitive shows have had a divorce, a remarriage, an new hero for the heroine. In Mahadev, the Sati story has ended and Parvathy-Mahadev marriage has happened.

It is no use hurrying multiple tracks now in IPKKND like remarriage, past, Shyam's entry now, becoz our audience ain't coming back. They are happy with the other shows.

After watching the last week's episode I was tired seeing that crap Dadi her tauntings nd all. I really got frustrated so how the TRP viewers bear it! They might have switched to some other shows cz all they see Khushi crying , Dadi's evil!!

Ditto. Haven't we seen enough already? I get it that this is supposed to be a love-hate story but come on, it doesn't have to 90% hate and only 10% love. Even the weeks following Shyamu's revelation did not focus heavily on Arnav and Khushi's bond strengthening. What should have been a perfect opportunity to show these two coming closer, trust blossoming between them, was instead waste on that nauseating didi ki saut track. I felt the 2 or 3 episodes where Arnav and Khushi turned to each other for comfort, shared their pain, were brilliant, but then of course the whole AnJhali drama had to start.

Then what? We had Arnav trying to get her back to RM, and I was left banging my head against a wall thinking why on earth the writers promoted this track as as wooing one.

I felt things had really started to look up after he got her back to RM. I have been really enjoying the past 1 or 2 weeks of episodes. Arnav standing up for her, giving her the love and respect she deserves, and bam, out comes this stupid track of Shyam trying to stop their marriage. There is only so much negativity the audience can take. And duping them into believing there will be marriage and then cheating them out of it will kill this show, that much is for certain.
