The apology scene didn't really work for me. It was kind of flat. I guess, I was expecting something far more intense. To me it seemed like it was put there to pacify the fans who wanted an apology from him. His previous apologies were far more meaningful. Anyway, I have moved on. Don't want to think about it anymore.

Im off to read it...bdw just like today's apology scene and the lukewarm hug, barun's acting does lack that spark it used to have. I have no idea what the reason is...

could be direction, reluctance from barun's part or him just not being good with direct sensitive romance scenes...

Bingo. it was very flat and I had felt his passion and agony on that first apology waaay better...

Not just the body language (as in the hug) but his expressions also lacked depth...they are very linear and dont vary much.

Anyway there's no point cribing about it because we cant do much...

i cant say ive ever sat down and read the india forum rules,, however i have gathered that in THEORY insulting actors or other forum members is barred. However, wasnt aware its against forum rules to discuss other shows. and i dont want your post to close coz of me!

i also agree there is alot of sensitivity around dissecting any tv show,,, eeven though mostly i dont think im being rude or offensive if i am critical. i honestly dnt understand peoples protectiveness over a tv show and tv characters. what level of discussion can we say is acceptable? do we all just have to take everything we watch at face value. gloss over it, romanticize it. so as not to offend the more sensitive.

OR am i being sensitive if i think petty namecalling and direct/indirect digs aimed at forum members is unacceptable and downright rude.😕😕😕

I honestly dont find any thing wrong with comparing two fictional shows since I always take these discussions and analysis as something we would do in a literature class where we dissect, try to interprete works of fiction and sometimes draw in examples and points from other fictions to contrast and prove what we are trying to say.

If drwaing out an example from another show is relevant to the debate at hand, so be it.

But apparently this forum has rules to stick with the show in question. I dont know the basis of this rule neither do I agree with it.

probz thats the problem,, weve spent to much time in literture or media studies classes... how can you enjoy anything if your always reading between the lines instead😆
