Thank you Rima. I see you like Robert Browning's poetry. I can't recall anything appropriate related to the topic at hand at this point of time but I do remember his wife's Elizabeth Barrett Browning sonnet. How Do I love Thee. Now that is the best salutation to the man from the phangirls on this forum, me thinks.

How do I love thee? / Let me count the ways. / I love thee to the depth and breadth and height / My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight ... I love thee with the passion put to use / In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. / I love thee with a love I seemed to lose / With my lost saints,–I love thee with the breath, / Smiles, tears, of all my life!–and, if God choose, / I shall but love thee better after death.

Totally agree. ASR has started his redemption in his own way in the sense that he regrets doing the things he did to Khushi. He's even started to show that in how he treats Khushi. We all LOVED Arnav for defending Khushi in front of Dadi and standing beside her.

But the fact remains that what he did was already his duty as a husband. He hurt Khushi too much for him to remain without saying a simple sorry to her. Redemption doesn't kill a man's strong character. It strengthens his character all the more.

If any man is even an iota of ASR then he will surely be facing a number of legal cases or may be behind bars.

I wonder how many wife's will even talk to there husband's after hearing insults which Khushi has gone through

legal case badmein that guy will definitely get some solid mukkas from me

i don't know about others but i defenitely won't.
and if i am madly in love with him like khushi is, i will forgive him, love him but will leave him because there is no love without respect

but the today never came and here i am with half the interest in the story

That's right, Rima. We have all been waiting from day 1 that one day he will regret all that he has done to her. But, that day never came. And, now it's too late. And, I am also hanging here by a thread. Loosing interest fast. Too much inconsistency, too illogical.
Mayuri, as always Rima's posts are great. I have already stopped watching this show. While the Olympics kept me busy and the WUs were sufficent to know what is going on, I agree with Rima and you that our patience has been tested to an extent that the interest is fast fading. To me ASR protecting Khushi or saying all those things such as Khushi is my wife the bits just don't weigh as much as him coming to a state of mind where he realises how cruel he has been. Remember he has done nothing to the effect of presenting facts to his sister Anjali (OMG this character is still getting on my nerves). I am not sure if this Dadi entry has much to do but if it all means that Khushi continues to get disrespected then there is not much point to this series.

DKS, firstly I love your user id. It is awesome! 😆
Secondly, you would be amazed to see the figures. There are many women in India who tolerate much worse than what is being portrayed in the show. They tolerate it day in and day out. They do it for years. Without complain. The figures are astounding. And it is not just in rural India, but it is more so in the urban cities. the middle Class women who are educated. the pressure of the society is such, the stigma all this often becomes too much and they end up living a life worse than death .In fact, Death would have been more welcome.

India has a male dominated society. Here might is right. So the men are always right.

As it's often said Chocolate says "I'm sorry" so much better than words.

I see I'm sorry- When he stands up for her.
I see I'm sorry When he holds her hand when he sleeps.
I see I'm sorry- When he goes out of the way from his hi-fi life and gets her what she likes
I see I'm sorry- When he told her she can do what she wants
I see I'm sorry- When says he wants to see her smile.
I see I'm sorry- When he shares his dark past with no one except her.

It's perspective. We can agree to disagree. 😊
