Clearing some misconceptions about redemption - Page 30

Rima...girl..I love your posts. Sensible ones...though I dont always reply...I always read them and I like how you keep fighting for our Khushi..the one we saw fighting with ASR through and through..the one who taught him meaning of marriage.
That since her wedding she has become meek, and her only retailiation is useless humour..it did leave bad taste. I was also hoping ASR redemption and regret will kick in after he knows whole truth of Shyam. But I was wrong.

I want to see ASR getting to his knees and saying sincere sorry for every time he hurt her will with wrongful allegations, hurt her with abusive words..and married her in cruel way.I want to see him say sorry for making her sleep outside on her first SR night.

I am hoping..CVS are not so dumb to brush off last 6 months under the carpet. I am thinking that real redemption is going to kicj in once ASR knows his Di is still meeting Shyam behind his backs.
So everything he did for her will be waste. Hope at least then he knows and apologises.

I can only hope.

Great post Rima..I need ASR to accept...without much tears and drama..his mistakes. And promise to make it up to her.

and Make it up.

Otherwise his love will not be real..and romance will be useless.

I am totally fine with whatever Arnav is doing nowadays to Khushi. This was my dream from the beginning, where ASR buys her sweet gifts, feels happy to see her smile, always wanting to make her smile, supporting her, sharing his pain with her... etc etc... BUT...

I just can't get over the feeling that SOMETHING was missing between the kidnapping track and current track. Some sort of intense REALIZATION of how wrong he was in thinking that Khushi was having an affair with Shyam. Some sort of REPENTANCE... the typical ASR emotions (pain + guilt) on remembering all the bad things he did to Khushi based on his misjudgement (especially the way he forced her to marry him). Then whether he says SORRY in lengthy words or through actions... either ways is fine with me...latter is better.

But where are those episodes in between??? I don't understand how they could have skipped those feelings by ASR!!! That is the BASIC stuff. He can do it in ASR style... but he HAS TO go through the REALIZATION and REPENTANCE ... before he can REDEEM himself. His current actions are very good for REDEEMING himself... but how did they skip the previous 2 things?? I am confused. And also, How come showing REALIZATION and REPENTANCE be out of character for ASR. He has ALWAYS FELT GUILTY about the bad things he has done to Khushi (many examples pre and post wedding). Now that he has realized that he loves her, the feeling should be amplified. The way they showed a small scene of him telling Nani in front of Khushi that he did the biggest mistake of his life by not trusting Khushi... was that it?? Thats all??

ASR did say ''sorry khushi'' while applying balm... it's his way of saying sorry!! and it's their emotions and not the dialogues! i think they get everything even if it's unsaid!!!
