I think that the CV's themselves do not know how to fit redemption into the serial, since they have left it to late. The plot has become so convuluted and non-linear, that all the opportunities they had to fit in redemption and regret have been missed completely.
They could have fit in regret after the kidnapping track, where ASR could have thanked Khushi and apologized for his mistakes and told her I Love you. I think Khushi would have forgiven him easily and the love track could have begun.
The redemption could also have been introduced after he remembered about the contract marriage and could have gone to Gupta House and apologized and promised Khushi a real marriage.
But now Khushi who was very angry when she was forced to leave GH for RM, suddenly was all upbeat and chirpy by the time she reached RM during the Raksha Bandhan episode. She seems to have developed amnesia about the whole contract marriage and is worried about pheras and SR.
ASR has also forgotten about the contract marriage, Shyam, WW's suicide attempt and is busy trying to seduce and flirt with his wife. One night he tells her about his mother's suicide and his sorrow and next day morning he has developed memory loss and flirts with wife.
Now the CV's have entered a maze and don't know how to exit it and enter the door to redemption.
I really dont think there is going to be any redemption eventhough we want it, becoz no one would be able to fit it in the current scenario.
