She single handedly hoodwinked 6-7 kidnappers and saved her husband from getting burnt. She is intelligent, brave and strong. So she need not stay with mean ASR.

She could tell everyone about the contract marriage and leave him if she thinks that he has not apologized to her for the way he has treated her in the past.

1. Her parents will understand. If they came round to their sudden marriage they will come round to this as well.

2. It doesn't matter what happens to Payal. She is a grown up and she is very well capable of taking care of her own life.

3. She should call his bluff about putting Buaji and her parents to the street

4. She need not give a damn to what Hitler Dadi thinks about her

5. She should tell mami to stop calling her "phatti saadi". She is not even her frigging mother-in-law

Why has she taken it on puny shoulders that she should be the one to please everyone around her and change a complicated man like ASR? She should just leave. Why is she putting up with all the crap around her?

Answer to your bold: Because she is IN LOVE! She's HOPELESSLY in love with a man who has RUINED her life, her dreams, her respect, her EVERYTHING! Now that's her BIGGEST MISTAKE! Isn't it? She should pay for it and she's paying badly.

Its not about why Khushi is behaving that way or why Arnav is behaving that way

Someone is making them behave that way

1. Gul Khan( 4 lions)
2.Nissar(4 lions)
3. Ved Raj (independent writer)
4. Lata shridhar (star plus)
5. Shivangi Babbar (Panglosean entertainment)

To each his own I guess. What is redemption? To make up for past follies right? That is exactly what he is doing right now. When he married her, he vowed to never give her the respect she deserves as his wife, and he is eating his words right now when he fights against dadi each time the woman tries to bully Khushi into submission. He has told her numerous times on her face that he doesn't want to see her ever again, and now he is trying everything in his power to get her to stay with him forever. This is redemption. At least I see it as redemption. Yes, I agree that had the creatives put in a scene similar to his breakdown after he witnessed the terrace fiasco, then this confusion wouldn't have arose in the first place.

my answer to all this: the guilt the remorse the pain is missing
it is a smug way of doing things when the one who is seeking to redeem himself knows he is forgiven already

love and the feeling of thinking she owes people-her terrible guilt complex-since she is an orphan and owes her life to others-she thinks she is not worthy of anything in her own right-even sef defence

I agree with your first sentence. To each his own. Yes Redemption is to make up for past follies but right now his intentions aren't really of making up for past actions. he's definitely eating his own words and doing everything to make her happy. But the thing is right now what he's doing is to keep her with him so that she doesn't leave him again. He's just trying "win" her. Why? Because HE cannot live without her. HE LOVES her. Yes she loves him too but it hasn't been about her feelings as of yet. Instead of saying "I'll win you back. " or whatever he said that he would make sure she doesn't leave him again if he had said "I'll make up for my past actions" or something along those lines, this confusion wouldn't have arisen at first place as you said. & To make the matters worse he says ASR never loses. So what should we call it? So basically she's a challenge for him which eh wants to win at any cost! So if Cvs hadn't shown that way then we can't really call it redemption! At least I can't call it redemption. Yes I love what he's doing right now but according to me this is not redemption. The day he realizes his mistakes would be the redemption for me!

It is not just that he even blamed Khushi for all miseries in his life and started to blackmail to get her back. so he has not learned a thing.

He doesn't feel an iota of shame or guilt for what he has done in the past in the name of ego and MU. Firstly it was needed that he neutralizes the effect of insult and then start replacing the old memories with new ones.

I'll add one more note...it doesn't feel like a redemption track because Khushi is still being humiliated now.

If it was proper redemption/wooing, we would be enjoying it along with Khushi. Why was there a need to drag Dadi into the story out of the blue, just so Arnav can jump in and defend Khushi while she gets humiliated unnecessarily. Arnav is redeeming himself...but once again, it comes at Khushi's expense.

These writers will destroy Khushi's character depth and growth; put her through every humiliation and pain and forget it the next moment; make her act irrational one minute, mature the next; make her the most inconsistent and disrespected person on the show; they'll make her do whatever it takes to make the other characters look good. She's their favorite punching bag. These writers suck...that's the only way I can put it mildly, without saying what I really think about them.

Gul will never or ever care about the character Khushi, so we have to forget redemption track, may be we can expect a verbal sorry, but i am not sure about that too

According to me there is no redemption going on now. It is only ASR playing around Khushi and teasing her and defending her against only Dadi 😡. I have never seen him defend Khushi against mami. I don't understand why only against Dadi😆 it actually makes me laugh
