agree it is better than actual hate... but what kind of a wooing is that?? put her through more emotional turmoil! i am not buying this until something nice comes out of it!
that said i am not having a problem with ASR... not anymore! i have a problem with gauti bhaiyya and team they dont understand what emotions go through a person's mind on being threatened to be thrown out of ur accommodation! to top it all she has a weird husband and a six month contract hanging on her head! one cant comprehend khushi's present condition and they end up treating it lightly and making khushi a demi-god! cummon man; for god's sake she is human!!!

Once again Rima; thanks a TON for speaking exactly what was in my mind...I mean it freaks me out how you put exactly the same things that I had in my mind😃

I was in two minds about ASR's behaviour myself. Would like to share a part of my post I made at FB.

If I look from what I expect, I might not like ASR but if I see things from what they are, I might actually be ok with him

It's only because of my wrong assumptions about ASR's journey into love that I have been disappointed with his behaviour lately. I assumed him to have learnt his lessons of selflessness (I thought finally he is more like Khushi in this case now) but I was wrong. He has a LONG way to reach where Khushi is. We say they are equals; I guess they are but only at an egoistic level. At the level of heart, Khushi is miles and miles ahead of him

Till now, he has always done things that he thinks she'll like without thinking about her real likings; Khushi's birthday is one example. So if I look at the progress of ASR a year back and ASR now, it's a definite change but not the way a lot of us assumed. Time to do a reality check guys? I am doing mine.

Now that really makes me wonder about what will actually be the BIG thing that will jolt ASR out of his dealing with Khushi and her affection/love as a game that has to be won?! To be honest, from one perspective, it feels he has stepped back as a character but from one, he looks to have moved forward. I guess, why I feel he has stepped back because these days he is not been shown connecting with Khushi emotionally. Earlier during their so called hate-marriage; he was in tune with her emotions, now he is not. The only moving forward part is the trust that he holds on Khushi. I miss that emotional connect because without that it is only a matter of 'winning' her and ASR is doing just that. 'I want you', 'I need you' is the space from which Arnav is approaching Khushi; it is still about Me; I SO wish (umm...kya wishing pe ban nahi lag gaya tha? :P) ok, I rather prefer to see Arnav wanting Khushi out of 'their' love for each other and not for his need or want for her.
But then, love is a journey and Arnav will slowly reach to that point 'surrender to your beloved'. (I hope he does and not pull Khushi to where he is right now! :P)

I know what you are saying and I want to agree

But even if I forget everything else, what bothers me is that

Arnav / ASR - call him what you want...saw Khushi risk her life to protect his. He almost lost her then.

And yet, he feels nothing except this idea that he loves her. No regret at having judged her, hurt her, maligned her.

I don't buy it. And Arnav may be cynical and callous to people. Never to the ones he loves - his Di, his Nani, his Mami..then why Khushi?

When does the Tom and Jerry game end?

i dont think he wud manipulate her, i think he just wants her to realise his importance for her, how he is her anchor, how he can help and protect her... n i wud love to see him make her jealous so she can confess...

Yes, agree!
I won't bash Arnav just this time because that's how he is, and he needs someone else to point out his mistakes.
And seriously Khushi proved him right yet again that this world doesn't care about emotions so he had to go back to his original ASR style.
I am actually happy to see ASR.
I mean seriously he even tried wooing her by going inside that cupboard lol. That's not very ASR.
He told everything to NK again not very ASR. So why not going back to his ASR style? that's how he really is. I am actually happy with this track.
I want to see his redemption as well, but with this situation it's impossible.
Khushi needs to break his ego.

Actually guys, he was being playful. Here is my understanding -- that shukla is already paid. He is messing with Khushi -- just to spend time with her. His thinking is, the more time he spends with her, the better his chances of making her his.

So, I wouldnt look at what he did today as something weird or sinister.

I think this is fundamentally the way the writers have trained people -- he has been so mean to her for so long, when he is making this attempt to get cozy with her, we think he is using his "power". NOPE Shukla is in on the game.

I for one like what is happening.
