totally agreed with all of you.Nice post and well explained .I am not going in the past lets talk about recent one when Anjali (Daljeet) is justifying herself that after two days what happened to me in the show nobody in my family will do such a thing the way Arnav and Khushi is doing.OK how about your brother came from being kidnapped does anybody bothered to find the whereabouts of how , when , who ,and where on earth this happened and did anybody bothered Khushi who just survived a near death experience.Nobody call the police to investigate not even ASR himself is doing anything about it .NO but everybody should give you 10 out of 20 min of the show.We are loosing TRP because script is loosing its grip and yes Mr GH a parent has a right to raise the child by his or her way but it takes a community to raise a child as a complete human being.Sorry no bashing but try to hear our constructive criticism because as you love your baby we love your baby more than you.But you need to realize that ,sooner is better.

They damm very well know this fact! They know IPKKND is ArShi (and for many of us, if not all, that means Sanaya and Barun as their respective characters).

There are so many fantastic "fanfics" that explore the love story so well - yet the writers of this show seem completely clueless as to how to carry the story forward.

Great post .. I didn't watch the last 3 weeks episode , but I red the WUs.. Really , I was expecting Arnav at least to appologize one real appology .. to admit that he wronged her a lot .. to explain to her some of his previous actions with her .. CVs should realize that we want more than romance & Rabba ve ... many people like me are waiting for the day when this poor girl will get the respect that she deserve, for the day when Arnav will make her realize that he done all what he done because he love her but he was afraid .. but unfortunetly , they are not giving Khushi's character the attention that shedeserve ... and about GH , he should know that most of us will not even think to watch this show if they promot Arnav and Anjali as a sole of the show .. we tolorate a lot of stuped tracks just for Arshi \ SaRun .. and without them , I would long back ago stopped watching the show after over dragging and some stupid tracks ...

Khushi never gets the sorry she deserves from anyone. This show always undermines all the humiliation Khushi faces. She got called characterless by both Shyam and Arnav...the next day, they pretended it never happened. They act like all the hurtful words she has to hear from various members of the Raizada family and her own family don't matter, as if her feelings don't matter.

She dismisses the biggest of insults then gets upset over some insignificant matter. Ahhh! Why are they doing this, making her character inconsistent and hard to relate with on purpose? I think a lot of members on IF have done a far better job explaining Khushi's character than the CVs have. We love Khushi so we try very hard to understand her on our own because she is not making it very easy right now.They barely show us her POV. There is no deep or emotional thought shown behind her actions. But when it comes to Arnav and Anjali, there seems to be no shortage of emotional breakdown scenes.

At least showing us Arnav's POV is limited to on-screen and Barun nails it perfectly. However...Anjali's POV is being explained and justified by the PH, writers and actors even off-screen. What the heck? They are leaving no stones unturned to get Anjali's pain through to us. Yet they are so careless when it comes to all the pain Khushi has been facing for over a year. We keep waiting to see her get the apology and respect she deserves but it never comes. It's completely unfair.

One last note...speaking about Khushi brings me Sanaya. If I were her, I'd be insulted by Gautam Hedge's tweet that the concept of IPK was about Arnav and Anjali. Where does that leave Khushi? I'd be worried about the future of my character if this guy is writing the story. Going by his thinking, Sanaya is the parallel lead...though they are still promoting her as the main lead because they know better.

I wonder if Sanaya is okay with the sudden change in the theme of the show. She had to carry this show on her shoulder for the past 2 months and she did an admirable job keeping it in the top 10, without any complaints. After all that hard work, her character has been relegated once again.

And how can she be okay with her look on the show? We see how amazing she looks at award shows and other events where she styles herself. As opposed to the show. I would be horrified if they told me to wear such ghastly clothes. I don't mind the colors but the material looks quite cheap compared to Daljeet's expensive wardrobe. Sanaya is naturally beautiful so she still carries them off. But what about the hair, the unnecessary extensions and hair clips that look very unappealing. It doesn't make sense. She is not treated like a lead on the show.

I don't like to be dramatic...but I had to say it. I think I won't watch another show by this PH again. Its too much of a headache! They are just all highly unprofessional, from top to bottom. Sorry for the negativity but I don't care. I'm getting increasingly annoyed with the way Khushi is being sidelined.

I agree with you... some prefer to call this serial Arnav's serial and some like to say that Khushi's popularity is all thanks to her co-stars.. I do not wish to stir the hornet's nest but that is how I too see the situation... But not all think that way.. I see the serial not for Sanaya nor for Barun cause, I did not know who they were when I started watching the serial... my response too is limited to the characters in the serial and not the actors...

We have partly the character of Khushi to blame for the predicament .. Sorry I too am blaming khushi because I too am frustrated at people taking pot shots at her... she is able to bounce back after every calamity or tragedy that befalls her.. she is always chirpy, caring and is always ever ready to give a helping hand no matter what status she is in... She is easily forgiving and is the first to give the benefit of the doubt to the other... her selflessness is her worst enemy.. therefore, people tend to take her for granted and think she she invited it upon herself.. also being the younger member of the family, they think they can treat her anyway they want without any apology...

I would not worry about Khushi's role being cut... ASR cannot romance Anjali and the show will not go down well if Khushi is out of the picture.. I see all other characters helping the plot to move forward and don't see them as the leads of the show... if the CVs try to show one whole episode of ASR & Anjali , they can also see the TRPs sliding.. I am hoping they will tread carefully with the current track which has great potential..

Yes I agree Khushi carried the serial for the 10/28/11/40 days ... she selflessly rescued the hero from the clutches of the evil Shyam... I don't know why the other characters have not enquired ASR or Khushi about the kidnap... why did they not want to know more about Khushi's engagement to Shyam.. at least Naani wanted to know more about what transpired but the others all took it with a chalta hai attitude then and now are pouting and sulking... they behave as if they don't care ... how can they then point fingers at Khushi when they have not even bothered to get clarifications.. ?

Akash is in a world of his own.. when he was in love with Payal he could think of nothing else except Paayal and even sought help from Khsuhi & ASR to convey his feelings for her.. and now that he is disgruntled with Payal he does not want to see nor hear her and does not want his SIL trying mend his relationship... I was never happy with Akash and Payal's characterisation... Payal was angry at Khushi today but had she ever given a thought about her action or omission? Akash is angry with her because she too hid the truth... so rather than accusing the other , she should accept her mistake .. she should discuss with Khushi to see how they could improve the situation...

Shifting the blame on the other seems to be trait in the Raizada and Gupta families... When ASR forcibly married her Khushi became the punching bag...Little did they realise it needs two to tango... One track minded is all what I can think of now 😭

You said it, there are too many inconsistencies in her character. I didn't get her monologue either, nor do I understand exactly what she is angry about right now. Her monologue made me go "Huh"?!!

First of all, I thought she is upset with Arnav for the contract issue...but in her monologue she said she is not angry with him!

I mean come on! How is that possible? She loves him, was hurt by the way he brought up the contract, but is not angry? And she got angry that he did not wish her "Happy Birthday"?

After what he put her through with the hate marriage, I was waiting for him to make it up to her..but she herself has swept everything under the carpet...

ANd now she is playing hard to get...because Payash marriage is in trouble, Mami is angry...etc etc...what sort of reasoning is that to keep hurting Arnav's efforts in pacifying her?

I mean if she was shown upset for all that he put her through and now the contract, it made total sense.

I don't even know how to write all this coherently!

I am finding it hard to sympathize with her...which is shocking! I am one of the crusaders for "justice for Khushi" league...and I am finding it hard to digest whatever nonsense they have written for her character...

Only after reading the posts made by gals like Tia, rima, am I able to understand her position to some extent...even then...I feel the writers neglect KHushi's character a lot...

They make her look childish one moment, then mature, then downright silly...

All the maturity and depth shown in her character during the kidnapping track has vanished.

Now its all about "Di" and Arnav desperately trying to win Khushi over...

I think it is a combination of two things...one, DB asked for more importance and was this close to quitting and two, the writers probably have run out of ideas to drag the show!

Thanks everyone for your responses! I can only hope that the writers handle Khushi's character with the same sensitivity and care that they are handling a supporting character. Because right now, I'm worried that Khushi is being shown carelessly. Then again, the writers of this show have never written an author-backed track for her. It is all credit to Sanaya and the FANS for bringing this character of Khushi to life.

I don't even know if Sanaya feels bad about this or not but I certainly do. I'd be annoyed if I was her. Its like...you use me to promote the show, the Arshi romance, go overseas to meet international fans and then when it comes to the storyline...you sideline me and even have the nerve to say that the show was always about the brother-sister's story. SI is the one who should be going around, running her own campaign to get people to feel sorry for her and her character.

Second, I can hug you for this! 🤗 Thank you so much for making an excellent post. You made complete sense, but I'm not sure whether I will, so bear with me while I use your topic to vent!

Khushi: Arnav flirts with her, and then when he feels like it, he tells her off in the rudest manner possible. Khushi sulks for a while, then she's back to her jolly old self and mind you, Arnav doesn't give a single apology. How long will this go on? Where's the justice? What happened to the Khushi who told off Arnav at the GH? They are showing her as a punching bag. Whenever someone is mad, it's Khushi who gets the blame. Anjali, Akaash, Arnav, Maami and now Payal too. Did the Gupta's apologize for pushing her into marrying Shyam? NO. Did Raizada's ask her whether she is ok after the whole Shyam fiasco? NO. Did Arnav acknowledge the fact that Khushi risked her life numerous times to save his butt? NO. Did Payal once ask Khushi how she's doing after the kidnapping? NO. Everyone, and I mean everyone takes her for granted. She is everyone's punching bag, and I absolutely HATE it!

I want Khushi to burst, tell Arnav off, make it clear how she is not one to be taken for granted, she has her rights, she needs to be valued. But sadly that will never happen. Not until Hedge uncle ji decides to stop whining and write a proper damn script!

Sanaya: Oh I adore her! Her professionalism, her dedication to the show makes me respect her more than ever. But I feel like she is being used. Her talent is being used. During the crappy swami track, it was evident how impeccable Sanaya's comic timing is. They clearly took advantage of that. They obviously also know how amazing she is at intense scenes (refer to the GH ones). Why aren't they taking advantage of that? You have a gem in this show who emotes with perfection. Use her talent wisely! Or are they hell bent on proving that this show really is all about Di and Sanaya is a supporting actress?

Looks: If Sanz wasn't so gorgeous, I would have had a list of complaints! She looks so beautiful no matter what, but what's with Daljeet's new and beautiful saris, while Sanaya wears repeated old uniform clothes? 😳 Who's the lead again? Oh wait I forgot, Sanaya has been replaced by Daljeet!

Anyway, I agree with everything you said, but out of everything, the inconsistency in Khushi's character, and the lack of a proper script is what's annoying me these days. Had it not been for Sanz, I would have left this show long ago! 😳

I totally agree with what you said about Khushi. That being said, I doubt Sanaya feels too upset about it considering her job is to act what she is told and she gets paid to do it. She's also achieved a lot of fame through this character so she's probably not worried about her characterization.

I really wish Khushi would speak up, Arnav would be a little more consistent, Anjali would be a little stronger, and Payal would slap Akash for being a jerk.

I don't disagree with you but since I started watching this show, Khushi has always been like this. I mean she's very selfless and we what saw today backs my point up. She's having problems in her life but rather than sorting them out she is worried about Anjali, Payal, Akash and Mami. I mean what the hell?

Khushi needs to stand up for herself. She really needs to! There's a limit right.

I agree, I keep waiting for the day when everyone will make their apologies to Khushi for everything they've done to her. If it happens though, I don't think it will be until after Anjali sees Shyam's truth for herself and after Shashi has fully recovered. He was always the only one who ever treated her with respect and kindness (granted he hasn't been able to talk for the better part of the year) but I hope that when he gets better, he will get her what she deserves.
