reserved for tonight's episode Had been wishing for this for a long time.

A rose is a rose is a rose is a rose.

That's what I am, a bouquet of red roses. I have been witness to all - passion, love, anger, hatred, hope, glory, worship, birth, despair and death.
Today also I went through a myriad of emotions. As I felt Anjali's hands on me, she had just seen a silver lining after her life had just turned into a gloom. She was sad, she was angry and she was broken. My presence had just given her hope, that petal by petal , leaf by leaf she will build her life again with her Chhote at her side just as together they had done almost a decade back . How thoughtful of him to send me this little bundle of bloom and joy when I thought everything is over, she thought.
With a new enthusiasm she cooked Chhote's favourite dish and took it to his room. I was not present there, but the breeze blowing from the poolside told me what happened when Anjali climbed her way up to her brother's room. I can make out the possessive streak in Anjali made her to see and feel the big contrast -- as she felt a dragger has been drawn through her heart. Here she was, standing in the darkness , carrying the pale light coloured food for Chhote , and there he was , with his Khushi and with bright stars, holding her hand , giving her chocolaty cake !!! For Chhote the world seemed to be the one filled with his Khushi so much that he could spot a speck of chocolaty icing on her lips. Her own Chhote has forgotten his Di and how her world had turned upside down just a few hours back. She just could not but wonder how Khushi has slowly tried to tread on her happiness. She remembered when Khushi had tried to get cosy with her husband, so what if it was just an act and so what if the world believed that Shyam was responsible for Chhote's kidnap. She had climbed up the steps with hope and she climbed them down as she went down in despair, depression and gloom again.
As Anjali entered the room again, I could feel the little ray of warmth which was present when she had left for the kitchen had been replaced with anger, fury and yes plain old jealousy. She felt she was alone and has lost even her Chhote to Khushi. Now she is no more happy, bubbly Anjali who could think no ill of others as she had always believed in her happy paradise . She has lost her paradise and she is wondering who has tried to take it away from her...
I came crushing down as the hands which had caressed me before, threw me down just as cruelly. As I said before I do see all the emotions – love , passion, anger and jealousy. Still I continue to give the fragrance even if I am crushed. Believe me, it not just the shade of Khushi's cheeks that I share with her. She is like me, always giving sweet fragrance even if crushed.

THE SMALL THINGS IN LIFE, MATTER THE MOST

Since I did not write on Saturday for the ME, I will combine it with today's episode.

Today's episode left me crying my eyes out. I felt especially sad for both Arnav and Anjali. I could feel the sense of abandonment that Anjali was going through. It was heart-wrenching to see a sister, so used to her Chotte being by her side. A brother who was always with her, and who had kept her as the centre of his world all these years is now with another woman taking her place slowly.

It is perfectly normal. Which one of us hasn't even once felt just a prick of unease when our best friend would start spending time with someone else? You are used to that special place reserved for you, and to one day see that space being occupied by someone else isn't really easy to adjust to.

Now think of Anjali. A person who has witnessed her mother die on her marriage day, a woman whose baraat left her alone, a sister who was thrown out of their house along with her brother, a lady who is handicapped, a wife who is shattered by the accusations and decisions made against her husband, and a mother who dreads the future of her unborn child - loaded with these unpleasantness in life, who will she find most comfort in during such a time? Her loyal, steadfast brother of course. The one person in her life who she has always depended on, the one person who can understand her plight, the one person who will do just about anything to feel better, the one person who will always be by her side, the one person who will see to her tiniest needs' that one person whom she believed was her own.

Anjali needs a bit of comfort, reassurance, company and love right now.

Shyam and Arnav have been the most important people in her life. Shyam is not by her side right now, but her Chotte is.

Chotte - Her one hope, her one ray of light in her dismal world right now.

Comforted and grateful for having a brother like Arnav who bought her her favourite red roses (according to her), she wants to give him a dish prepared especially by her for her loving brother. She was so moved by receiving the roses that she actually abandons her safe sanctuary of her room, moves away from pining about her sorrow, casts her troubled soul aside, and prepares the dish as she normally would. (Brilliant touch of showing Anjali actually resuming a bit of normal life - delusional/dream-world?).

The sister in her is however left feeling torn and alone when she sees her brother with the woman that pulled her dream world down. She is left feeling broken at the realization that her brother is no longer just 'her' brother, he is a husband too... a husband who stood by his wife, supported her, acted for her, believed in her and cast her husband out ' all on the appeals and words of his wife.

'His' wife. A simple girl whom he hated at first was now the girl who was starting to gain importance in his life, nudging Anjali out.

This girl whom she had once welcomed with the right step was the girl on whose words her husband was made to step out of the house.

This girl Khushi had taken her husband from her, and now, her brother too was slipping away.

Put yourself in her position. Wouldn't you too feel somewhere that you are neglected, ignored, bypassed, alone, and your only constant companion since you were left an orphan is now dredging up the feelings of being an orphan all over again?

Anjali shuts herself in her room. She doesn't disturb the couple, she doesn't let them know of her presence, and she leaves quietly from there, feeling withdrawn from her brother's protective company.

Anjali has already lost one anchor in her life due to Khushi, and now her most important anchor seems to be unwinding himself from her and going toward... who else, but Khushi!

Anjali is vulnerable right now. Arnav has been her support, her ever constant wall of dependence. It's not that she wants him all to herself, no... if it was that then she would never have played Cupid between Arnav and Khushi. It's just that right now, she needs her brother, she needs him to be her support, her protector, her shield and care-giver.

Her monologue shows that it has hurt her that her brother lied to her about the roses, and that he celebrated his wife's birthday by keeping her out of it. Who wouldn't feel slightly betrayed? Which one of us would not have been hurt if we were in her place?

She feels that she is losing importance in Arnav's life. The thought is compounded by the fact that it is Khushi, the woman behind all her tears who is making her way into Anjali's place in Arnav's life.

It was really sad seeing Anjali like that. She may be slightly selfish, and dependent but, I could understand a bit where she was coming from.

Coming to Arnav now. I felt sad for this man who is sandwiched between the two most important women in his life. The poor guy is trying to balance both relationships as well as he can. However, after today, I'm wondering if Anjali will withdraw again. A few more Khushi triggers for her and Anjali may snap! Just saying...

Hmm... just realized, the siblings share common elements right now:

Anjali - torn between the two most important men in her life - her husband Shyam and her brother Arnav

Arnav - divided between the two most important women in his life - his wife Khushi and his sister Anjali

Well, that was interesting, now coming back to Arnav.

This man has never, ever till date been openly vocal about his feelings. The 'I Love You' was said out of the pressure and seriousness of the moment. But otherwise, Arnav acts out his feelings rather than speaking about them.

Today was no different. Actually, his act of getting the gift for Khushi in the ME too backed up this nature of his.

If you overlook the fact of the cost of the bag, and that he asked Aman to pick it up, it was a very thoughtful gift from him. He had seen her bag break, and immediately asks Aman to get one for her.

Arnav has been used to the 'expensive' life for quite some time now. Just like Khushi is used to her simple life, Arnav too is attuned to his own lifestyle. One can't really expect the other to change overnight!

This man, who was full of attitude, ego, and indifference has been undergoing a gradual polishing of his nature that accommodates the simplicity, genuineness, free nature of the GH members. Notice the change in him when he's at RM and GH.

At GH, Arnav seems to be one of them. There are no 'levels' or hierarchies in GH. Everyone talks freely, and yet politely, without over-stepping their boundaries but in such a natural way that it doesn't seem forced.

On the other hand, at RM, ASR emerges. The tight face, the stern look, the silent frame and the curt voice. As owner and Lord of RM, responsibilities of the house feature in his countenance.

Arnav is learning about his wife's ways, slowly and steadily. It is a pleasure to watch him keep correcting himself to make her happy. Each new thing he does for her elicits a lesson from her on her simple ways of living, and enjoying life.

His ego is nowhere in sight in all this. Nearly losing Khushi has drilled into him the importance of her in his life. He is taking all the efforts to ensure that he gives her what makes her happy. He knows his words about she being a mistake in his life have hurt her, he knows that by bringing up the contract he has vexed her even more - being classic ASR/Arnav, he wants to make it up to her, to apologize and bring back her cheerful smile again.

He put himself through an embarrassing time in the ME. Unable to utter a simple 'Happy Birthday' provoked caustic remarks from his wife. He still didn't give up. Never have I seen Arnav unmindful of his personality taking a hitting. Speaks volumes about his growth!

Coming to today's episode about Arnav, Khushi is clearly at the end of her tether with this tongue-tied man. This man, who otherwise snap, growls, whispers, roars or teases her is unable to wish her a simple birthday wish. Khushi is the kind of person who is very easy to please.

The small things in life matter the most to Khushi. Arnav hasn't fully understood this yet. He knows it, but he has to still acquaint himself with this feature of life.

After the bag fiasco, and after Khushi making him realize through her interrogation whether 'he' was the one who bought the bag, that Khushi just needs 'his' personal touch to make her happy.

He follows this very line and decorates their poolside with her New Year style fairy-lights, along with a cake bordered with red rose petals.

Khushi is aware of the effort he has put in. Look at her expression when she sees the beautiful sight in front of her. She is pleasantly thrilled, a soft look in her eyes, she looks around smiling at the sweet and thoughtful efforts put in by her Laad Governor for her. She senses his 'personal touch' in it, and is warmed by the thought that he did all this for her.

He then approaches her, and she, after seeing how much he has understood her waits for him to complete the magic by saying
"
Happy Birthday Khushi!"

But it doesn't come... awkward pauses between them, coupled with Arnav opening and closing his mouth like a gold-fish for the umpteenth time finally sets Khushi in a sulky, obstinate mood.

Arnav covers his plight by ordering Khushi to cut the cake. Ordering Khushi to do something is never a good idea, especially when it comes from Arnav, and when Khushi has decided to be stubborn and show bhav.

Khushi knows what Arnav wants to say, Arnav knows what Khushi wants him to say. Khushi can see that he has been trying all day to wish her, but since he is so tightly closed up, she can see that it will take a lot to make him open up and spill the words.

From her own personal experience, she knows how long it took him to say "I'm Sorry". He had practiced in front of the mirror at that time, and fumbled a bit when the time came, but once he said it, he found it easier in the future occasions to let it slip easily from his mouth.

Khushi didn't snub him at all, nor did she not understand him. It was precisely because she understood him that she poured out all that talk. She has seen him all morning trying to manao her, she has seen that he is listening, and taking her thoughts into consideration. Her talk was to help him overcome his weakness in disclosing his inner feelings. Her talk was just to trigger him to open a bit of himself. Khushi just wanted him to realize that nothing would be lost if he would just let himself out from his tightly wound cocoon. All she did and said was to help him understand that it was easy to please her, he didn't need to indulge in expensive gifts to capture her heart, no, it was the little, simple, meaningful things that mattered. Khushi jut imparted one of life's beautiful teachings to Arnav - the loveliest moments, are the little tiny moments of life - they do not have to be grand to make an impression.

Her lesson hit home pretty fast when Arnav remembered her complimenting him for bringing a smile to Anjali's face, just by submitting himself to her happiness.

That is what Arnav will do tomorrow.

SCENES I LIKED

The ME was filled with hints! Most of them were about re-marriage, but there were other few too like Shyam coming back in some time, impending peril for Khushi, and Anjali staying clueless till the last minute (all well known and established ones!)

Nannav and NK scenes in the ME: so adorable it was to see them bantering 😆

Buaji and Arnav: these two get along so well! Was rofl all the time with their scenes 🤣

Babuji getting better: He'll pull the shutters down on Shyam soon, was really happy seeing that he is improving!

Payal-Maami: I felt Maamiji was in character in the ME. She never liked Payal, and after what happened with Anjali, her dislike has found another reason to sit on. She has always been like this, and continued to be the same on Saturday.

ArHi+PayAsh: on one hand we have Khushi who understands perfectly how important the bond between Arnav and Anjali is. She will never dream of parting them, or causing a rift between them because of her. Khushi respects and values Arnav-Anjali's relationship. On the other hand, we have Aakash who fails to grasp the bond Payal and Khushi share. Yes, he was right in saying that Payal should also see to the responsibilities of the house as a DIL, but to tell her to stop focussing on Khushi and doubting his importance in her life, Aakash came across as a person who failed to comprehend the siblings bond. Maybe it's got to do something with being an only child' 😕

Khushi-Payal: What to say, I always love it when they show these two sisters. Thank you CV's for giving us back the sisterly bond! Loved it, and also thanks for gifting Khushi a new saree... hope she wears it, please gift her a few new salwar kameez's too!! 😛

Khushi-NK: These two are too adorable for words! No one has any doubt that NK will always be there for Khushi!! Simply cute scene! 😊

Khushi-Arnav Birthday scene: Aye Hayye, so cute they were, both stubborn, both obstinate, both short-tempered, both awkward, both child-like' Adored this scene. 😳 It didn't play out the way we imagined it to, but it was absolutely good even then! Khushi giving him some more fodder for thought and gradually opening up the windows of his heart. Arnav listening intently to every word she had to say... excellent!! 👏

Wondering if I left out anything... well, will add them if I remember. Anyway, interesting times ahead... Anjali may turn any way (not black or grey) but her emotional state may turn anyway, and I don't think that she would plan, scheme or purposely make Khushi leave. At the most she may just ask for Shyam back so that she won't feel alone and abandoned. Let's see how it goes...

Arnav-Khushi are communicating more often now - a very very good sign of a relationship growing! The more they communicate, the stronger their relationship becomes, and the better they will be at tackling problems together.

CREDITS

Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani ' hahaaa, I had a great time laughing at the two of you' sho frickin' cute you two were 😆

Daljeet Bhanot ' you brought tears to my eyes' 😭 really really loved your performance today after the scary surgical instrument waala scene!

Deepali Pansare and Karan Goddwani ' You two I have always liked. I'm just glad that you're still around Karan, please don't leave till the re-marriage happens at least!! 😳

CV's ' The show is at an interesting phase right now. 👍🏼 We're not sure how exactly Anjali is going to proceed, I know that she won't be purposely grey, it will just be her insecurities playing out, so looking forward to that. Also, great to see you giving PayAsh and Maamijji some pace too ' keep it up with that! Please keep Karan Goddwani on a permanent basis!!!

Pip-pip,

Nia 😊

What is IPK??😛

A hindi soap..

A Hindi soap airing on SP…

A primetime Hindi soap Airing on SP….

A Prime Time Hindi soap fiddling with human emotions like no other…

Well…IPK can be defined any way…It doesn't matter what adjectives you use to describe this helluva TV serial…

I won't ramble on today..Just pick up a few points that I adored/loved/was forced to fall in love with…😊

ArShi-Any doubt why we love this couple??They are the duhling of millions of hearts..And why wouldn't they be??For the past few months..as a true blue IPK fan I was totally disheartened by the failing chemistry between the two..The nok-joks were a pale shadow of the pre-marriage epic ones…Crumbling story line..It seemed nothing went in these two's favour..

But then again..How can one rule these two out??From the "candle jalao Abhiyan"..to forcefully feeding her cake..to wiping that little bit of cake from her honeyed lips….These couple makes us go weak in our knees with their crazy but absolutely adorable antics…His priceless smile as his ingenuous wife rambles on…What a unique scene that was!!Plenteous affection for each other interspersed with those adorable squabble..Can these two get any better??!!😳

Anjali-I've said time and again that my heart goes out to this woman…We need to cut her some slack, pronto. Her life is in its crepuscular mode now..Arnav is the last resort, her last straw of life..That she wants to hold onto dearly!!Is it so unrealistic of her to think the way she's doing??That look of rejection, pain on her face when she throws the bouquet..The FB's all centering around Arnav-Shyam-Khushi…all indicate a stiff sense dejection..But has she yet done anything to bring her in bad light??To absolutely loathe her??Is it wrong of her to try find some sunshine in her insipid, depressed life??!!

Hasn't she always been a little insecure??Just like her brother..she's had a tragic past..Did anyone ever question whether she came outta that??!!Her first marriage didn't happen.Insecurities are ingrained within her…Moreover the fact that she's crippled has made her more insecure….

Shyam was more of a God to her…She was spending a hunky dory life with the man..And suddenly,it seems in a whiff, all her dreams are shattered…Her brother..her Chotey dragged her husband out of the house..yet the allegations against him were never proved, were they??A truckload of questions left to be answered..But no one's bothered to give her the proper answers..All are busy bringing her crumbling world back to normalcy…But doesn't this woman deserve the truth??Well at the moment she's totally innocuous..

She has to come out of the charade and I'm afraid she will have to learn her lessons in a harder way…Her mind might be reeking of MU at the moment but she's not a dark character..Devi Maaiya will show her daylight…Very soon!!😃

How I loved Khushi-Payal bonding..Thank You CV's for finally paying a heed to our demands..And NK…Can this guy get any more adorable??A friend promising to remain by your side..always..Now that's a blessing!!

Okay..CV log..Get ready..I'm here with my pint-sized complain for the day…

Okay I probably won't be able to express how and to what extent the epic cake-cutting scene impressed me/floored me/surprised me!!Kudos to the brain behind the scene..True to Arshi character…Every bit of the scene!!

But that wiping scene??Why was it all blink and miss??You should have paid a tad bit more attention to the nuance and detailing in that particular scene..Probably bring in some more passion..What say??😉

But I must say the scene had a certain pulchritude about it..ki chaalo maaf kar diya!!

The montage of emotions that IPK is coming up with these days is simply mindblowing..No wonder the positive vibe has finally lifted the show a gloomy nadir back to the zenith of excellence!!

And to the people who will be reading this post..Can we stop getting a little less vitriolic on Daljeet,CV's,Gul,ASR,Anjali-every now and then??!!This is the Vintage IPK we are getting these days!!The show has ploughed its way through all the ominous predictions, negativity…Then what's the ballyhoo about??

Okay..enough said..I end my post with an appropriate tweet of the moment by Mr.Hegde!!

"romance will go nowhere but we will need padding n external forces. That's how it's always been in IPK. Else it will be like a music video!!"

An episode that wasn't too moving; not an emotional roller coaster though a few seconds there were when I felt my throat constrict with joy and sorrow in alternate. The episode was about Khushi and Anjali today for me; it highlighted how the balance is tipping from one side of the scale to the other.

The Desolate Vs. The Determined

Today brought into limelight the changing tides in the lives of two women; both orphaned, both out seeking for love; both shedding sunshine and happiness around them.

One, today, is the apple of her family's eye; people trust her, believe in what she says, bend backwards to bring a smile to her face; even her husband, infamous for his stone heart and uncaring attitude, makes not one, not two, but numerous tries to make her feel the joy she richly deserves.

On the other side, is the other girl that the family cherishes as one would a priceless diamond; but they choose to protect her, to smother her with what's right for her rather than listen to her yearnings; and isolate her from the world. The two people as essential to her as air are gone. She's lost at sea in her own mind, with neither the shore nor the lighthouse at sight.

Both built fantasies, castles in the air; both are devoted to the almighty and both would give their lives for the ones they love; both try to spread happiness in their own way. But the similarities end here.

When Khushi and Anjali first met, it seemed that Anjali would become Khushi's patron, her guiding light. And things did progress that way, with Anjali pushing Khushi towards Lavanya, bringing her inside RM, where her destiny laid waiting. Whenever things went kaput in her world, Khushi managed to lean on Anjali who never shied away from giving her a shoulder to cry on. The one who never stopped short of giving her insights into her beloved Chote's mind and heart; who made Khushi realize that may be hate wasn't all she felt for him.

But, the most notable is that whenever the biggest storms in her life have struck, Khushi has not or rather, has been unable to count on Anjali because the people who caused them are the very woman's dearest ones. She'd weathered it alone, saving even her closest family from the worst of the impact.

Somewhere along the line, the roles reversed and Anjali became the one looking for Khushi; she became rather dependent, or rather accustomed to the presence of the chirpy girl, something Anjali had tried, and failed to become. Anjali had forever tried to preserve Khushi's innocence, her dreams of a perfect life, while the men she considered the most important to her were all set to disillusion Khushi of her fairy tale world.

There has always been a marked distinction shown in both the characterizations that whenever trouble comes knocking, Anjali prefers to turn a blind eye to it; when the issue becomes unavoidable, she turns bitter, in turn infusing her somberness into people around her. She feels justified when people around her are grave because of her because she, Anjali, deserves the attention.

Khushi, on the other hand, is a born fighter; at the sight of trouble she lifts her swords and spears and jumps into the battle, never shirking. This, though has sometimes landed her in pickles, has made her stronger each time and has made her sure of hr ideals and principles.

Whereas Khushi cares about people's happiness even when she's in sorrow, Anjali is concerned about others only so long as her own dose of affection and attention is being received. Whereas Khushi has won each test Devi Maiyya placed before her, Anjali has chosen to hide behind the pillars of people she has erected around herself to avoid them.

That, is why when it appears that the wall of family around her seems to be collapsing, it strikes her harder than most. Khushi was verbally orphaned and still, she never blamed her family, only putting it on her own unwarranted actions and the monster who was the cause for it whereas Anjali, who is still being cosseted, believes that she is isolated, that she has lost every person in her life, at the mere sight of one of her family showing more attention to someone other than her.

It happened to be Khushi, but it would have been the same if, in her extremely vulnerable state, she had seen Arnav do this for anyone; anybody other than her.

In her mind, she's losing to Khushi; losing to her in the way that most hurts her and she fears for her future. I'm not much good with linking mythology, but Anjali's mindset to me now is akin to Kaikeyi's after she had heard Mantara's evil opinions.

Phatta Bag Vs. Tamatar Ka Dhag

The Guptas and the Raizadas; two families who are from the same hometown; yet time and experience has shaped them quite differently.

The Guptas are the Dil; the ones who base their lives on the sturdy bonds within the family. When a member is threatened they put up a storm to protect them. They may not be able to live in mansions or afford to give gifts worth millions but the love they shower on you is such that even Arnav Singh Raizada, self proclaimed ruthless Rakshas, craves for his share of it and does things hereto unimaginable for them.

The Raizadas, or the Dimag or rather, the Society. They are highly respected, revered even; for their status, the money and the sheer power they wield as the family of the man who owns the country's one of the most famous fashion houses. So steeped are they in their own mirages that their actions have been spelled out by the approval of the very people who admire them. So used are they to impressing people that the thought of not being up to the mark in their eyes, has become unthinkable; almost a sin.

In their fight to remain at the top of the societal hierarchy, they have lost sight of the bases; the fundamentals that form and bind a family. The relations have become so tender, so fragile that when tragedy strikes, they flounder to keep the ship together. The frivolous wrappers aside, the Raizadas come out as a weak lot; ones who can't team up as a single unit to fight the crisis. Each of them prefer to be alone, to escape to the confines of solitude where they don't have to face each other knowing they have failed.

Where with the Guptas we have seen that even when a relation is broken or tensed, it is easily mended because no matter what, family is family to them. Like the bag that Khushi had, they are simple yet sturdy and no matter how many tears, they can always be stitched together at the end of the day. With the Raizadas, though; it becomes not a tear to be mended, but a stain that can never be removed. A bridge that has been burned and can't be rebuilt without the help of atleast one of the Raizadas themselves.

Khushi managed it with Anjali's help; no doubt Shyam will too. Who will he manipulate, though?

Best Laid Plans Vs.Historic Flops

And here we come to the meticulous plans made by one Mr.Raizada and how they managed to simply bounce off one Mrs. KKGSR.

Plan 1 – The Do Laak Bag

Arnav, true to his nature, gave her what she needed at the hour, a practical gift. So what went wrong? It was the lack of personal touch, as Khushi pointed out; the apnapan that she feels needs to emanate from any gift or greeting. Lesson learnt; personalize.

Plan 2 – Aarti

Recollecting from his mistake, Arnav tries to give Khushi the apnapan she asked for; the acceptance from his family which is as dear to her as her own family's is. So what went wrong? Its not the family's acceptance and affection she wants but his. Lesson learnt; do something yourself.

Plan 3 – Bouquet

A flawless plan in fact; Khushi would have been delighted. It was the perfect mix of keeping in mind her preferences and a personalised touch; the perfect cheesy concoction that Arnav despises and Khushi adores. So what went wrong? It was all about keeping the coast clear, especially clear of Ex-Cupid sisters turned deluded Di's. Lesson learnt; a gift could be best appreciated in privacy.

Plan 4 – The Cake

On the bright side, he atleast managed to write it down if not say it and thankfully, kept it short. If he had taken up writing her entire name on the cake… So what went wrong? When going for a dramatic plan, never down play it. Khushi was already frustrated enough; she prefers frills but her roots are steeped in simplicity. Listen to her words; 'Ya sajwat nahi chahiye' and 'Bas ek mubarak'; she has moved away from her parents, for you, expecting nothing more than a welcome from you; a welcome into your heart and the words that give her the apnapan that she longs for. You made a wonderful attempt, you respected all her so called superstitious beliefs in making wishes over cakes, but spoiled it with not expressing the honest emotions that were behind the actions making it seem those of a man who does things and demands people to like it. Lesson learnt; never give any sharp things to your wife, especially not when she has already come at you with it once before. Decide; what is your problem, that the candles keeping blowing out or that Khushi wouldn't cut the cake.

Arshi scene

I'm sure the scene has been dissected to the atom, so I'm not going to go much in detail except for a few things.

Action Vs. Expression at play once again though this time, both are aware of what the other is doing or rather trying to do. Khushi's almost like she's telling him what to do; its not annoyance or irritation anymore but exasperation at seeing his attempts fail. Deja Vu to the time when Khushi was trying to teach Arnav about feelings and Arnav wanted to do it his way.

Another stark contrast was the way she understands Arnav's actions; that of putting a loved ones happiness above his own; they share a common need to give and that is what binds them during the most crucial of times. I wonder if Khushi would have talked about stars and her connection to them with Anjali; I wonder further if Anjali would have understood it as anything more than one of Khushi's superstitions.

A few more pointers on Anjali before I finish with this already too long post:

If nothing else, the thought of losing Arnav will rouse Anjali out of her stupor/depression and it seems to already have started.

Her worst fears, of Arnav moving on in his life without her support and backing is becoming real; that Khushi is slowly becoming Arnav's support has started tearing at her as well as her first attempt at normality, i.e., fussing over her kid brother, has been met with a slap of reality to her face, that she isn't now the most needed in his life.

It remains to be seen how Anjali will react to this revelation.

I normally don't like to predict because I always see the bleaker side of the canvas but the foreboding feeling that Anjali is once again going to witness Arnav's belated 'Happy Birthday' lingers.

Tid Bits:

  1. Khushi's dialogue, 'Bahar sookhna chahiye' reminded me of washing dirty linens in public; an indication of the Social Stigma to come?
  2. Khushi-Payal – Sisters imperfect tandem with each other; these two are another delight to watch simply because they communicate without words though they use them in abundance. Payal knew exactly what Khushi would love and Khushi knew that her sister knows her preferences and would forever pay heed to them. The scene was the most natural one in a long time between them.
  3. Khushi-NK – What amazed me was that Khushi needs no promises, no words from NK to know that he'll support her for life, but with Arnav, she expects a page long essay? Is it the mistrust still leftover or the insecurity of first love? On a lighter note, if what NK had got Khushi was a bangle/bracelet(looked like it to me), hope he got the size right this time!
  4. Where did Nani and Mami go? Last night Mami was right by Anjali to help her with the milk but now the woman is carrying a tray that is far heavier than a simple glass of milk; heads straight for enemy territory and nobody stops her?
  5. I breathed a sigh of relief only after the Payal-Khushi scene was over and the infamous pick shirt didn't make an appearance. I almost expected Akash to come right behind Payal to scold her and guilt trip her!
  6. This is the last one, promise; if Arnav designed the house, all I have to say is, 'You reap what you sow'. Do you even know something called a lock exists?

My first ever attempt at trying to analyse the episode; I have to thank all the Reduxians who were the inspirations behind me braving to write this. Thanks so much for putting up with the post even though it made no sense. I know it might have been incoherent and a little shallow; I can only hope to improve with time and aspire to post something I can be confident about.

I am alone, sad, have a baby on the way and a long life alone ahead. I have just discovered that my brother lied to me about the flowers..those flowers that he had ordered for his wife and passed them on to me saying that they were for me because I had assumed that he had thought about my grief and wanted me to get happy...I was wrong... I had misjudged...but he had always said to me that I matter the most...he had always said that nothing in the world comes before me but today he too is forgetting me for a girl..a girl whose face whose mere presence reminds me of how she has snatched my happiness my husband away from me...now that very girl is taking away my brother from me..my brother has already forgotten what tragedy I am facing ...what has happened to me because of this girl...both the strong pillars of my life, the two strong men who made my universe are shaken and bending towards her...that girl who apparently makes men run behind her..I gave all i could to these two men...and in return they abandoned me..I am alone...I have no one...I am Anjali Manohar Jha...

I am sad because I am not the center of chotte's Universe..I am sad because though it seemed I was...I found out that I was not the center of my Husband's universe.

"You're reaching out
And no one hears you cry
You're freaking out again
'Cause all your fears
Remind you another dream has come undone
You feel so small and lost like you're the only one
You wanna scream 'cause you're
Desperate
You want somebody, just anybody
To lay their hands on your soul tonight
You want a reason to keep believin'
That someday you're gonna see the light
You're in the dark
There's no one left to call
And sleep's your only friend
Well even sleep
Can't hide you from all those tears
And all the pain and all the days
You wasted pushin' them away
It's your life, it's time you face it "
David Archuleta

The episode:

Now where Arnav is trying to woo khushi as best as he knows khushi is giving him a hard time as she doesn't want worldly riches...all she wants is love and heartfelt feelings...Arnav bitwa is dancing around to wish his wife her birthday in the best possible manner to make her happy...but unfortunately Arnav Singh Raizada a man of few words and little experience in handling non-superficial girls is struggling and struggling hard...

I am enjoying the wooing track immensely...and the story line too...

Points to ponder:

-Arnav Singh Raizada ..the business tycoon cannot afford to put a latch on the main door of his bedroom
- Anjali Di had never learnt the manners of knocking...and imagine ASR ne khushi ko kitni daant lagayi thi is baat per shroo main...
-NK is a sweet heart (thats nothing to ponder about)
-Payal ki choice bohat kharab hai,...but atleast khushi got her gote wala dupatta...

A statement of love:

My dear friends the story in IPK has just returned all the tracks are moving forward in the right direction..let it unfold and enjoy the ride...😳

As selfishness and complaint pervert the mind,
so love with its joy clears and sharpens the vision.
Helen Keller
I once agn njoied the episode tonite,, yes it might hv been a killjoy for the romantic expecations which I harbored bcz the spoliers hype etc but on a clean slate it was a good episode agn taking the learning curve for Khushi & Arnav moved a step ahead in their journey of togetherness. Rememeber Love is not only passion it is a gamut/ a rainbow of emotions faith, expectation, understading, gving and taking An Umbrella emotion Called love covers a lot of small emotions.
The episode tonite opened with Anjali getting the flowers which were intended for Khushi and even though Arnav is regretting that they did not reach the intended person but he doesnt poke the pin for Anjali, his love believes in protection but we see a Khushi standing there smiling, who has taken the situation to her heart and she is smiling in the effects, for her the world is improving, what more she can ask, A gal who believes in spreading in life is sunshine in life and sunshine doesnt need anything just its sun.

Love is an irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired.
Robert Frost
For Khushi, it was the best gift that Arnav thought abt her, but a man like Arnav who is a giver can not take anything less, if he wants someone to be happy he will do anything to get their happiness plans to do a surprise, A plan to bring smile on her face, something he is used to do to for other nothing matter to him than more than her smile,
Payal gvs Khushi a gift, wrapped with Love & wishes which she whole heartedly accepts and the comes the heart NK, she steals her to Arnav, but on the way he gvs her a gift, an unconditinal promise of support, what more can one ask from a frnd... she truly has got a frnd for life in NK
abd then brings her too the room, Khushi is pleasant surprised mildly impressed when she sees the lights and cake and the expecatation arise, now is the moment
They consider me to have sharp and penetrating vision
because I see them through the mesh of a sieve.
Khalil Gibran
A gal who doesnt expect any thing from anyone, anything from life is expecting something from Arnav tonite, she wants sumthing only he can gv her, a confidence that she matters to him, she is looking a statement tonight and when she sees him there, she wants him with no bows and string, jus as plain as he is with all warts n flaws
Khushi has always dream on unfliching love, unconditional exchange of emotion from her partner, she nvr had dreamnt A man like Arnav would fall in love with her, who is sauve, rich & represents a life of grandeur, her life involved daily struggles on Life yet a assurance to be wanted al well with love which most middle class families do in their lives, their wishes may not get fulfilled with gadgets and accesories but with love they fill their hearts n stomach.

More than kisses, letters mingle souls.
John Donne
He nudges him slowly and he doesnt get her, she tells her to cut the cake and infact forces her to accept it as he has done it and it results in hurting her more, he is left confused flabbergasted and then she speaks him abt being coerced and tells him the flaw here that nothing matters to her no gifts no decorations just a wish straight from heart, and leaves in disappointment & anger
the next we see Arnav is resolved agn & moving, I loved this angle here, Arnav hasnt been hurt or broken here, he moves ahead with determination, he knows he values her he will show it, His faith In her reached the highest level.
And during the other side we see Anajli A sister, whose world has recently crumbled and has erected the falls of solitary confinment arnd her touched by a sweet hesture from a brother, her world has been crushed but one person who has been thru thick and thin with her is still there will her, she is thankful and as thanks she is making something to show the appreciation, when she reaches there , she doesnt find him, instead a husband who is celebrating his wife bday.
She feels lost her support is again slipping, the world is crashing for her once agn, she leaves and inside her room we see a bout on unbearable pain once agn
For me tonite episode represented baby steps on understanding each other, they will fail they will rise until they are firm and no more falls. where Khushi has always care abt U before me, Arnav has cared always abt me before U but in these recent episodes they are getting the glimpses of each others likes, prefrences, choices, that extra mile walk with your partner. yes on the face value they are not very pleasant
situations but in the hindsight they represnt learning and Faith
For Khushi & Arnav to be together they will hv to understand
"The secret of sucess in any relationship lies in turning one alphabet upside down-"me"needs to turn into "we""
Dedication for Khushi & Arnav

Once the realization is accepted that even between the closest human beings infinite distances continue, a wonderful living side by side can grow, if they succeed in loving the distance between them which makes it possible for each to see the other whole against the sky.

MU 1: location terrace of RM
A conversation snippet and a hug witnessed and misinterpreted by a lover and a brother

MU2:location poolside in RM
A scene between a husband and wife witnessed and misinterpreted by a sister and a wife.

A sister who cooked food for her brother despite being in a precarious condition...enters her chotte's room to witness a brother celebrating his wife's birthday... with sadda haq he makes his wife cut the cake and forcefully feeds her a piece of it... A husband busy in celebrations to make his wife happy...

A sister is saddened by what unfolds in front of her...she calls out to her brother in a weak whisper Chotte... but he has gone far... to a new world where his Di's whispers are no longer audible... She slips out quietly from the room... with the tray of food in her hand and a stream of unending of tears...

A dejected sister walks back... with memories of a wife being wronged, a husband being accused, a sister- in-law alleging his misdeeds and a brother choosing to believe his wife and slapping the husband of his sister...

Some time back Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada, the wife had walked down the path of realization of love for her husband,Arnav Singh Raizada.

Today another wife Anjali Jha walked down the path of misconception that ,the sacrifice of love for her husband Shyam Manohar Jha has been forgotten.

Anjali in the battle to choose between her husband and brother had failed miserably... how could she choose one eye over the other... but she had accepted the judgement meted out by the brother and sacrificed the wife in her...the mother in her also took a back seat... because she was her brother's world... the bond they shared... the hardship they faced...demanded she stand by her brother... the ties of blood are thicker than water...She did not believe the accusations on her husband but never asked her brother to explain... just pleaded for the return of her happiness... he expressed his inability... she accepted with a heavy heart because she had him...

But her brother did not do the same what he expected out of his sister... he chose his wife while expecting his sister to sacrifice the wife in her... Anjali did it in her silence... in staying back with him but her chotte failed to recognize it...he only saw the sacrifice his wife did to save him from the kidnappers...he only acknowledged Khushi's plight and not his Di's...

"Itna aasan tha choote sab kuch bhula dena...abhi abhi tumhari Di ke saath itna kuch beeta... abhi abhi tumhari Di ne itna kuch saha hai...aur tum bhool gaye...aise waqt me bhi zyada Khushiji maine rakhti hai "

Anjali like Arnav based her conclusions on half truths... she is unaware of the sacrifice that Khushi has given to keep Anjali's dream world safe... she does not know the agony her brother bore in silence to keep the smile on her face intact...

Little knowledge is a dangerous thing... Arnav learn't it at the cost of losing his life ...Khushi...

What will be the price for Anjali's realization?

What more does Khushi need to pay for unwittingly becoming the love of two men, Arnav and Shyam?

The first misunderstanding had united two lovers Arnav and Khushi physically in marriage when their hearts were miles apart...

Today the heart and soul beat as one... will the second misunderstanding that has stealthily entered the lovers paradise tear them apart?

Unaware of the storm clouds gathering on the horizon... Khushi is teaching Arnav to open his heart and Arnav is happily busy showering his love and attention on his wife...😳

A broken bond of the brother and sister and the strengthening of the ties of husband and wife is what poignantly flashed across our screen today.

Colour/ Dress Symbolism in Today's Episode
Dark green is associated with ambition, greed, and jealousy.
Yellow-green can indicate sickness, cowardice, discord, and jealousy.
Aqua is associated with emotional healing and protection.
Olive green is the traditional color of peace.
Anjali earlier used to wear very colorful sarees with jeweller, but now she has switched to wearing a drab white saree...almost like a widow. Her life has become colorless and meaningless now...there is only a patch of green there. Amazing isn't it? Ambition and greed are qualities associated with Shyam. Jealousy and discord are the feelings that Anjali feels like expressing right now. Emotional healing and protection is what Anjali both feeds on and in rare situations gives to others. In a way, these four shades of green symbolise what Anjali needs to pass through in order to get over all the tragedies of her life...
Shyam-Ambition, greed and jealousy for Arnav
Shyam being thrown out of the house-Brings sickness, discord and jealousy in Anjali and also indicates that she lacks the ability to cope with disaster
Arnav-His duty to provid emotional healing and protection to his Di
Shyam's revelation-The ultimate chaos that will come to a stop and bring peace to Anjali...there can be no peace without chaos and vice versa.
---------
Light blue is associated with health, healing, tranquility, understanding, and softness.
Dark blue represents knowledge, power, integrity, and seriousness

Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.

Blue is considered beneficial to the mind and body. It slows human metabolism and produces a calming effect. Blue is strongly associated with tranquility and calmness. In heraldry, blue is used to symbolize piety and sincerity.

Amazing isn't it, once again? Piety and sincerity is exactly whatKhushi is famous for. Saw the expression on Arnav's face when Khushi told NK why did she sacrifice those roses? That glow on his face...that is what represents the 'healing, transquility, understanding and softness' that Khushi brings to an agressive, raw, insensitive character like Arnav...especially understanding in terms of the fact that his Di needed those roses more than she did...Which represents her knowledge...Khushi is loyal, faithful to DM...She is Arnav's heaven.

However, Khushi is still just a kid...there are many qualities which she will acquire once she truly becomes a Raizada bahu-wisdom, seriousness, calmness as opposed to her chaotic nature.. she might just be a NextGen Naani in the making.😉
-------------------

Purple combines the stability of blue and the energy of red. Purple is associated with royalty. It symbolizes power, nobility, luxury, and ambition. It conveys wealth and extravagance. Purple is associated with wisdom, dignity, independence, creativity, mystery, and magic.

Purple is a very rare color in nature; some people consider it to be artificial.

Light purple evokes romantic and nostalgic feelings.
Dark purple evokes gloom and sad feelings. It can cause frustration.

Payal...don't a lot of people find her too goody-goody for her liking? But I find such a woman rarely in nature..she possesses the same brand of Golden heart that Khushi does...she is frustrated and nostalgic because of the treatment she is getting from her husband Akash...but she maintains her wisdom and dignity...she doesn't kick up a fuss and hysterically berate Khushi for causing chaos in RM...she keeps her problems with her husband and her sister's birthday independent of each other and sincerely wishes from God that Khushi remains happy..thus imbibing the sincerity and calmness blue color(one of the components of purple) is known for...She also has creativity which showed when her sister praised her hand-made gota salwar kameez..she could have easily bought a designer dress ala Arnav, but she understands her sister's need for a personal touch..
Khushi's look has not changed much since she left GH..she still wears her salwar kameezes and carries around her phata handbags...Payal on the other hand is under pressure to become a typical Socialite bahu...Khushi and Arnav are not yet at a stage where he can introduce her to the world as his wife...Akash and Payal have crossed thid stage, hence Payal has had to change her style...like Anjali she has adapted to colorful sarees and jewellery...somewhere down the line, Payal will truly symbolize the 'regality' of the Raizadas...she will be an upgraded version of Maami...not loud and grass, but elegant and royal...
----------------------

White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the color of perfection.

White means safety, purity, and cleanliness. As opposed to black, white usually has a positive connotation. White can represent a successful beginning. In heraldry, white depicts faith and purity.

And here we come back to Anjali again...(using light grey coz white will be too hard to read😆) Light, goodness, innocence, purity..all qualities associated with Poojali...the color of PERFECTION..Anjali's perfect world, which is SAFE, PURE and CLEAN...yet her saree had an off-white tone to it...as I said, her purity has been marked by jealousy and insecurity...the cleanliness of her world is fading...FAITH...the all-enduring faith she has in Shyam...

---------------------

Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love.

Red is a very emotionally intense color. It enhances human metabolism, increases respiration rate, and raises blood pressure

In heraldry, red is used to indicate courage
Dark red is associated with vigor, willpower, rage, anger, leadership, courage, longing, malice, and wrath.
This color applies to both Anjali and ArHi...for ArHi no explanation needed...those red roses were sent by Arnav to convey his passion for Khushi...but Anjali ended up taking them, and the whole meaning of the roses changed...Red represents desire, but it also represents COURAGE, STRENGTH, ENERGY, DETERMINATION, VIGOR, WILLPOWER...all qualities Anjali requires if she is to get through this difficult phase of her life...
However, Anjali ended up taking the wrong meaning of those roses...she threw them down on the floor...thus she tossed away all the goodwill her brother had given her and a new shade of red emerged in her mind...LONGING for Shyam, MALICE for Khushi, and WRATH for Arnav...Anjali may not know it but there is an inborn RAGE tossing inside her...
Note:Brown suggests stability and denotes masculine qualities. NK has been a rock to khushi for a long time...while in Anjali's case, Arnav is the rock she gravitates towards..
------------------------

Yellow is the color of sunshine. It's associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy. In heraldry, yellow indicates honor and loyalty. Later the meaning of yellow was connected with cowardice.

Yellow is an unstable and spontaneous color, so avoid using yellow if you want to suggest stability and safety
Anjali had worn a yellow saree in the precap...She comes to Arnav, expecting JOY, HAPPINESS, ENERGY, WISDOM...her brother, her No 1 Mr. Fixit...she expects him to give her some magical advice by which she can return back to her world where she was LOYAL to Shyam...what she doesn't realize is that she's looking for ESCAPISM..she needs to confront the truth...
Right now, Anji needs stability and safety the most...but her life has been tossed into chaos..she has become UNSTABLE element on her own...Shyam and Arnav were magnets...like the Sun holding the Earth in place...and now that they are gone, she is being tossed around her in her gamut of emotions too..she has become SPONTANEOUS...both the times..she saw Arnav and Khushi cutting the cake, and anybody could see khushi was uncomfortable, but she interpreted it as a couple sharing a cozy moment..in the precap, the moment Arnav takes khushi's name, she starts moving away without even hearing what Arnav has to say...
But don't be harsh on her...this indicates she is finally becoming INDEPENDENT...she is like a teenager now...when a child moves from the realm of doing what adults ask them to to making their own decisions, she is bound to make rash decisions...its a RITE of passage...like a RAINBOW..Anjali is evolving from the unstable yellow to the jealous green and finally the calm blue and regal purple...

I start this analysis with a saying in my tongue .. "change is the only feature that is constant in life and one who does not understand this ,reaps only sorrow.. Sorrow not only for themselves but distributes it to the people around them"

People today have started their analysis with aniji and about how the dynamics of a broken marriage amd arhi relationship has affected her.. Is this all about this.?. Never.. Let's us attack the root cause of what anji has never embraced in her life-i.e. change.. She has always maintained her bubble world.. Like the chameleon.. Camflouging her original colours..with a different colour.. But chameleon remains one ..it does not change into a different animal altogether.. Changing colouris a defense mechanism .. A way of life for a chameleon..It is said the chameleon changes colour primarily For social
Signalling and then for camouflaging.. So anji has on the surface has brought in superficial colourcamflouge but underneath ...Am not pontifying on anji's so called weakness. But when the weakness tuts into delusions affecting a loved one's life.. That is the greatest disservice one can do to a loved one..

To be updated..
