Please someone post this thread on 4lions page, GH twitter and IPK fan page and make them read this and let them decide on where most of us stand.

Daljeet must realise that she's actually doing more harm to her carreer by meddling and interfering with the creativity of the story.

I want the original story we expected from this show and I do NOT want Anjali to play a role that is more than necessary.

I have nothing againt Anjali's character and she's being somewhat realistic in her potrayal. But if Dalijeet continues to mess with the storyline I'd be more than happy to organize a riot to replace her and get someone else to play Anjali.

At the end of the day we signed to watch a love story; not to watch the dynamics of a bro-sis relationshsip. It can coexist but it cannot surpass the key element.

It's ALL ABOUT DI!

Daljeet: People actually LIKED Anjali before all this! THAT is the reason that everyone petitioned the PH to keep you! If people had know THIS is what they were going to see... I doubt they would have tried to stop you leaving!

Totally respect your views, but telling the Production House about the demands of a few seems to be in the same league of 'interfering with the creativity of the story' as well, right!?!

I'm not opposed to anyone voicing their opinions and I think that what Daljeet did definitely worked in her favor. I mean at the end of the day we are the ones who have to actively look out for our own career advancement. No one else is going to do it for us...

As far as what 'we' signed up for... I personally think it would be refreshing to see them develop the other characters in relation to the leads. The Arnav/Anjali angle, the Arnav/Akash angle, and even the Khushi/Anjali one. I also enjoyed the Mami/Khushi bonding that started when Arnav was kidnapped, but sadly that didn't last more than a few episodes.

As I said in my earlier post Im going to let them decide. I have no intension of forcing my opinion on them and Im pretty sure they are not going to take a decision based on fan demands. But there is no harm in letting them know what we personally feel. They can take it which ever way they want and I dont see how that would interfere with the creativity since Im not forcing my opinions down their throat.

I have nothing against Anjali fitting into the story but Daljeet's demands forced this particular 'truth revelation' track to come to light sooner than they had planned. why isn't there a proper redemption track? what happened to the crazily repenting Arnav when he got to know about khushi's innocence? Gul herself confirmed that there would be some such track but no, that was put aside to accomadate Daljeet's negotiations.

This is where I say the inteference comes. The natural progression of the story was hindred.

You have pointed out some home truths.

I completely endorse actors looking out for their careers and applaud Daljeet for negotiating with the PH to increase her role.

The fault is with the PH that they acceded to these demands.
However the show and role may have been narrated to Daljeet, reality is that it is popular because of Arnav-Khushi and not because of Arnav-Anjuli.

PH seems to have lost focus of this.
To be honest, I have not even properly viewed the show for over two weeks, and I know for a fact that several of my contacts in India - TRPs garners - have totally stopped viewing this show well back in April-May.

Considering that the story was the problem then, the PH are definitely trying to propel it forward now in leaps and bounds. But instead of focusing on the pair who made it popular, they are veering of into tangents.

Support character - and Anjuli is indeed support, not parallel lead - development is definitely required, and people actually liked the Maami-Khushi bonding during kidnapping as well as NK-Khushi bonding.
Now all that seems to have been discarded and this is throwing another monkey wrench into the works.

But support character development at the cost of the lead pair's chemistry (missing since Holi, and no, Hut Focking did not do it) is a grave mistake.

This PH is yanking the story, the characters, and the viewers every which way.
Anjuli and her sob story, Paayull-Maami-Akaash and their never-really-began story, and Shyaam's further mischief, all need to take a backseat to the real story - Aranv and Khushi; not the other way around as it is currently playing out.
Patience definitely has a limit.

I don't actually understand what is the main problem here.. When there was this news about daljit leaving, there was a hue and cry saying we want her there.. We can not imagine ny one else and etc... And now, when things have actually settled down n moving fwd, Yu complain about her screen presence..?

If I can say, I honestly have no issues with the current track.. It's going in the rite direction... N to be more precise, better than before... I have seen numerous posts saying there is no parallel story and it's only Arhi bearing the burden of the show.. N now when something else is cooking than Arhi romance, it's not fathomable for many...!!!

Coming to daljit in particular, what is wrong even if she bargained? She is an actress of great potential.. She is feeling wasted, so conveyed the same to PH.. If they felt it was genuine in giving her more screen space, it was their decision.. , and they agreed..

Even today's ME was full of Arnav khushi.. N yes, Anjali has to come in between them for asr to realize their perspective positions.. He should learn to choose KKG over his sis.. N that realization comes only when he sees his sis evert where n all the time he is trying to do something for khushi.. Such situations will instigate nani to get Anjali married off than coming in between Arhi.. N how many days hv passed before you are frustrated with Anjali's presence..?

Keep patience n let the story unfold..

I disagree and I think everyone should think twice before blaming daljeet. Last we heard was that she was leaving the show to pursue a lead role, there is nothing wrong with wanting to be promoted at a job. That is what everyone would do when following a career. People quit their current jobs for better positions in other companies. This is what Daljeet had said, but the fans and the PH convinced her to stay back telling her that her role was about to become more important and that they wanted her to stay. I don't think she is to blame here at all.

One more thing, I think it is wrong to make the Arnav and Anjali relationship of a brother and sister to be 'sickening' as some are putting it. There is no parallel or flaw in their relationship unless if people create it. Carrying a sick, weak, and physically disabled sister is wrong with someone people, would it be different if she had fainted and was unable to move? Would that still be sickening...they should have just left her there on the sofa because the closeness would not be right. Getting someone flowers is considered wrong...if they are romantic ones? My sister's favorite flowers are also roses so does that mean only her husband can get her red roses, no? so how is this wrong. Why the stigma with red roses to be associated with red roses to be simply romantic no one can enjoy them for the simple pleasure. I personally don't like red roses so if I were given lilies by the one i loved it wouldn't be considered romantic.

I think people are making a bigger deal out of this relationship than it has to be.

Go sign up for another damn show if you don't understand IPK. It's pathetic people want the storyline to be sacrificed for some "HAWWWT ROMANCE" *rolls eyes*

Again ..no hard feelings...but I wish I could post the list of awards for best jodi that Barun-Sanaya have won ( I think they have made history). It will be downgrading their acting skills and chemistry to say that if we want to watch them we are only interested in some "Hawt Romance" which is very far from the truth. We want to watch them because they have taken the show to a whole new level...and along with them everyone else is amazing ( mamiji, aakash, abhaas, naniji, daljeet)...but there is a reason that Anjali's character has not even made it to many nominations ( not bashing daljeet here - she is a good actress) because the show started moving in a different direction long ago...I agree it started as something...but it became something else...LOL ( I am wasting my holiday time here)...but just discussing dude...I want the best for the show...

I do not agree with you!!!

I know Daljeet said that her character is not growing and all...she did not say that she wants lead role..News ppl said that, so we do not know the actual reason behind her thought of leave the show !!! I do not believe in news, cos these ppl from news also got false news regarding our BARUN when he was doing movie!!! They said he might leave the show..what happened after...?? IT WAS FAKE NEWS!!! 😡😡😡 We do not know what Daljeet talked with PH, she also said that I did not know that I am getting this much love from fans..( When she was thinking to leave the show)!! She just realized her importance and her popularity!! May be she did not leave the show just cos she realized that fans love her ( she said that in her interview from fusion production- said that I am thinking 2nd time, only cos of my fans)...You and me do not know anything!!! How can you blame her without knowing truth?? I would never post this kind of comments if I do not have proof!!

Another thing...If you post some negativity regarding storyline, it will indirectly affect to TRP! some ppl will read and will try to spread negative regarding our show..and you know if TRP goes down, starplush shuts the show down!! I know I am thinking way long...but I am afraid about TRP!! This will indirectly affect to our ARSHI!! ❤️

Now in you post you said that khushi should not say " di ko to hum bilkul bhi dhukhi nahi dekh sakate" Thats really good point...do you know why? cos Our CHOTTE loves his Di more than anything and Khushi also loves her!! Anjali always supported khushi from the beginning...She loved khushi always and she tried many things to bring Arnav and khushi together!! I do not find any fussy thing!!! Its about love btw two sisters!! Arnav will think that Khushi also loves his Di and he will respect her as well!!👏

Btw...I am loving this storyline, cos CVs maintaining serious track, funny track and romantic track together!! its not like a typical sas- bahu!! Also, I have read in forum..a lot of ppl loving this storyline and BIG PROF is TRP went up!! 👏
