I think its time for the PH to realize that whatever deal they did with Daljeet to give her more screen space or more footage or more importance in the story - well...is just hurting their own creativity of the show.
These days we cannot get a single dialog / a single scene - romantic or otherwise without the extremely talented and immensely popular lead couple mentioning Daljeet (yes not "Anjali Di" but Daljeet). I trust the CVs and the IPK creative team- we have been seeing their work for the past year. And they have created sheer magic with the scenes they wrote, the scenarios they created and the chemistry they established between Arnav and Khushi. And it is very clear that whatever deal Daljeet made with them to gain more importance is completely impairing their ability to recreate the same magic with the same effect. Its like for every scene that the poor husband and wife share (with their own set of problems that they are trying to sort out), we get fired with this bullet called Daljeet/Anjali.
Even the other day when Khushi and Arnav are having such a private conversation, when Khushi said "I never wanted to hut you Arnav Ji.." I went hush..finally they r doing caring for each other...boom...the next dialog was "aur di ko to kabhi nahi.." I am like damn...girl...you love that guy. Its ok if you don't want to hurt him- its perfect...why drag his sister in there (of course other than this reason that CVs want to make sure Daljeet realizes how important Anjali is even if Daljeet isn't in that frame!!!)
And today was just the height of it alll... I am not particularly gaga over the episode especially compared to the previous MEs but was still fun/lighter than past few weeks so well not bad...but WHAT WAS THAT at the end...???ANjali receiving red roses from her brother??? Cmon CVs...are you the same people who have built this love-to-hate, larger-than-life-but-yet-so-real character called Arnav??? We just somehow digested the "Arnav lifting Anjali" scene and now this...And before anyone gets antsy about this comment that "brother can carry sister" ... but hey thts not the peeve here...the peeve is this - the CVs have used this very lifting / carrying around trick between Arnav and Khushi (and used it very effectively) to establish the romantic moments between them. Remember all those flowing duppatttas when Arnav is carrying Khushi and when Khushi is holding on to Arnav's shirt , and when they are looking at each other being so close..?? How can anyone who calls themselves "creative" use the same tactic to show the brother-sister bonding? And of course they didn;t stop there...once Daljeet hit the bed they made her hold back Arnav's hands to make him sit with her?? Again no problem a brother sitting with her ailing sister but tht entire scene- used so many times before between a romantic couple- how could that be used to show the bro-sis bonding unless the CVs were forced to somehow prove to Daljeet that she is as important...??
Well when the show first started there might have been a deal between the PH and Daljeet where hers was supposed to be a parallel lead or whatever...but can they not see...??? Even if she was a parallel lead all along they would have to trim her character because everyone wants to see Arnav and Khushi because well...they simply are GREAT and GREATER than perhaps what the PH had originally expected them to be!
I mean cmon the show's name is "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon"...its not "Iss pyaar ka naam hai bhai behne ka pyaar"
Daljeet- You are really good and you have been quite entertaining as well until you started to appear in every dialog and every scene with a pouting bechari face. But please get a reality check- its not your fault or anyone else's but people just arnav and khushi. May be they weren't supposed to be as big but guess what THEY ARE NOW. So instead of getting insistent for more footage and screen space and importance...just support the show which by the way has benefited you as well because we loved you when you were there as a supporting cast and before you made the CVs push your character down our throats...
