and she is not leaving us, yay. priya, you have created the most esoteric, exotic, eccentric, epic adda of all. remember, the truly intellectual bong always knew the absolute need for just maaroing a good adda. that's where custom mixed cha is drunk, ujjalar dalmoot munched, much time wasting happens (the adda's birthright, amader daabi mantey hobey, kaj amra korbo na korbo na), everything is discussed from the size of the "piece" of fish in the jhol to sonnets of the dear bard; of course ray, tagore, netaji, uttam shuchitra, mohor di, ganesh pyne, and now pranab babu no doubt feature regularly, but new topics added liberally too.

and through all this milabe milibe, thesis and antithesis, buaji and mamiji, new ideas are born.

the most chilled out adda on the net is yours, priya. so glad i don't have to look for a new thek.

Your 100th crooner Priya...I will make a post this time just coz I love you😃..

Sorry for the late update hun but real life beckoned😉...nonetheless here it is...I wont talk about the episode since a lot has been said and written already which leaves me with nothing new😃.I will be honest and say I didn't think too much of the episode the first time I watched it ...and very hastily expressed my displeasure on the hangout...But I soon realised it was too soon to react because I watched it again minus the saas bahu crap and I loved it😳

Now to this special thread called crooner...Let me tell you I was attracted to this crooner because I was floored with the way you write...I love how you describe the episode and give us insights in the deeper meanings...and also the weather forecasts that you throw at us😉...Thank you so much for this beautiful piece of work that you diligently put across everyday and please do not stop doing this...pretty please with a cherry on top🤗

We love you at the SG hangout...please come there more often😃...

PS::: My sig and DP says otherwise even though I loved the episode on repeat watches😃...Doc comes up with these sharths that we bet on and then we pay jurmana if we lose...As always I was on the losing team and my DP and sig are my jurmana😆

Ok now coming to the episode...

I cant understand why so many people are so upset... maybe they were expecting rain drenched romance. When I thought about it rationally, I am actually glad that they didnt show too much romance in the ME... I dont know if ME is considered in TRP calculation and what the ME has done is set the stage for the coming week... And it will be awesome. Hoping it will further boost our TRPs.

Now somethings that me cringe too 😛

- Buaji piling up food on Bitwa's plate... Aiyooo...what was that... the man is Diabetic... itney saarey greasy poories🤢

- 2 Lakh ka Bag - Really? Like Really? Mere mulberry bags issey better diktey hai and they DO NOT cost 2 Lakhs.. 😕

- When your Hero is refusing to cut his hair 😡... You cant have his BD sport short hair 😲

- Akash - Enough Said! 😡

But I enjoyed the comic relief of the episode..a real breather post the high intense drama of last week. Khushi Kumari Gupta is being herself again ... Adored her..hated her dress.

ASR stuck on Haa Haaa... ohh dear... Well ..bitwua ko thoda jhatka lag gaya.. Pehli biwi ka pehla birthday... Upor se manana bhi hai...the pressure is really high on the Guy! but he will be back in ASR isshtyle... Koi doubt matt rakhna!!

Nani doing aarti for Khushi..that was adorable.

Good Editing overall... Handled the NK & Arnav scenes quite well. Incredible that they got the entire cast showcased in the show in some form or the other... And pulling this 1 hour episode in such a short time... Kudos to the team👏👏.

You said it so well Priya.. vintage IPK alright!

And that VM was wonderful girl... You ARE a Rockstar!

Super kicked about the coming week and even more excited about your post on Monday.

Many congratulations Priya for the 100th Crooner!!!!! This is such a wonderful place you have created where intelligent analysis sits happily with crazy love, mindless addiction and hyperventilating phangurling...🤗 so happy to be part of this.. I hope the crooner continues to croon as long as IPK runs (and i hope that is for ever!!!!!)

I love this space more because there is never ever mahila morchaing and no bashing here. I hope it always is this way!!!👍🏼

And what a beautiful episode. I don't know about the people who were disappointed with this, I for one totally loved it. In our community, we often began feasts with one spoon of kheer. This episode was exactly like that!!!

And did anybody else think Barun outdid himself today? ASR's hesitations, his love for Khushi, his poor unused-to-wooing heart, his intense desire to see her happy and make it up for her and his bluster.. and how this man is all bark but no bite, he was FANTASTIC and I never get tired of saying this! He made me want to run inside the TV and give ASR a tight hug!🤗

There were very few places on the forum where there was any kind of positivity about the show when I joined and the crooner was one such place. Now, there is little too much snark in me that had me going to the SG thread, but I have always liked the fact that the show is treated with the respect it deserves on this thread. The fact is that we are here by choice, because we love his show. And a little respect for the creators goes a long way...there is a reason we love this show and they are it.

I am glad you are choosing to continue, Priya. Looking forward to many such crooners... Have a nice weekend...

Priya- read the crooner -- only one thing stood out -- you are going to continue!!!

Happy , happy , happy --- Arnav ke jaise mein atak gayi!!!

Lovely crooner -- congrats on the century -- abhi double aur triple centuries ka intezaar hai dear.. episode comments here and crooner century comments on the century hangout once I come back from an exam !

Fultoo manaofying mode mein hai ASR ... so that was what the episode was about minus Maami and Payal scenes.

Loved Abha and Barun scenes... great chemistry! Loved all of GH scenes.. and Khushi convincing Arnav that it is not his gift!

Loved the fact that Naani welcomed Khushi back... NK and Payal joined too... Khushi has allies in RM! I guess everything else will be covered by the rest of the crooner gang!

So full on romance ASR style and crooner Priya style.. what more could an IPK fan girl want ... go CVs and Priya!

P.S Ignore my DP -- lost shart on the SG thread -- will be in angry DP mode for a week! Will see if I can get one that looks lot less like Shyam at his scariest!
