I just saw this article. Can NK say "yes..yes nannav..I have an idea. Don't worry..." and
then somehow manage to surprise all (including a jealous and miffed arnav) with a surprise guest appearance of salman khan! That would be awesome!

Fine...back from dreamland..can we have a scene where NK tells Arnav to get salman khan to make an appearance at kushi's birthday which promptly gets a glare from Asr!

Good morning everyone!

Diya great post, it is his line about Shyam which worked against him. I wouldn't have minded a thing he said to Khushi had it not been for that line, that just took things too far and added to his RTR. Arnav should've been shown remembering that particular line when he reflected on what he told Khushi, that would have made him hate himself more

As for Anjali, as many have pointed out here the family is at fault for her damaged state of mind. I know she has been through a lot in her life but they did not help matters by trying to keep a fantasy world going for her. The constant need to sheild her only ended up doing more damage, now she desperately wants to cling to that fantasy because she doesn't know how to live without it. Anjali is going to push her brother too far, it already started with this episode but one thing she hasn't realized is the extent to which Arnav loves Khushi. For Arnav, Khushi is going to become his primary focus as he is going to repent big time for the pain he caused her. Khushi's broken spirit and attempting to distance herself from everyone including him is something that will crush him and give him a much needed wake up call. I'm looking forward to him being so desperate that he seeks help from NK, the maha episode is definately going to be a treat to watch.

Mandy, it was that line which completely got my goat as well ... to say that to ANY woman is repulsive for a decent man ... when Shyam said it, it was bad enough, but Shyam is the villain here ... he was bound to stoop to any depth to defend himself.
For Arnav to say this ... to his own wife ... the woman he claimed barely a few hours ago, to trust ... was unforgiveable. Would he be able to stand it if someone said that about his sister?! Would anyone, man or woman, be able to stand that said about any member of their family?!

About Anjali, I hope the cv's do show her as being severely unbalanced and a delicate shade of grey ... that would be an interesting watch. It does seem to be going that way ... Anjali's not-so-subtle insinuations about someone affecting their house and happiness were designed for Khushi alone ... especially as she immediately followed up with a plea for Arnav to bring her husband back. And it will need for the entire family to realise how she is manipulating the situations and all of them, before they understand how badly unbalanced she is.

I do hope you're right, and Arnav starts to stand up for Khushi now ... she has taken a lot of crap, and needs some wooing ... even more, she needs to be respected by every member of the house, not only Arnav ... but definitely starting with him!

Doc, do you want my take on that? Anjali was playing the victim game here ... she had no intention to cause herself or her baby any damage at all.

Let me explain my POV - a seriously suicidal person makes sure that he/she will succeed in their attempt. A depressed person who is not yet suicidal makes attempts that are more like calls for help, cries for attention ... and I think Anjali was doing just that.

What was her first reaction when Arnav threw Shyam out? To stop talking to him.

What does Arnav usually do when Di stops talking to him? He promptly reverses whatever decision/action of his that made her take that step ... take expelling Khushi from the house for La, take cancelling the sangeet.

This time he DID NOT do that ... he did not go running to call Shyam back ... he backed his wife.

So what does Anjali do next? She goes to her own doctor, well known to the family, and asks for an abortion, makes it very clear that she is in a disturbed state of mind, and then stays in the clinic till the doc has time to inform someone ... or, as happened, someone comes looking for her. The trail of crumbs she left with the unpaid auto driver also points to that - she wanted to be found. Then she picks up a blunt artery forceps/needle holder ... were there no scalpels/scissors lying on a tray of surgical instruments? Nope, she wants something that will look dangerous but is not ... and she waits for someone to find her ... and go crazy enough to be ready to give in to her every wish ... which is what her Chotey always does.

To ensure that he does that, Arnav is promoted back to being Chotey ... the brother who always fixes her world for her ... can he pretty please do that again? Including getting back her loving husband ... because some 'buri nazar' has hit their happiness ... someone is trying to separate her and her brother ... 'hum dono ko kya ho gaya hai?'

And Arnav being all kinds of a gullible emotional fool when it comes to his precious Di, goes running to Khushi and spills out the exact same words Anjali used ... all because of you, Di has lost her happiness ...
Yes of course, her true happiness lay in being married to a two-timing conniving scoundrel ... Really Bitwa, where DID your brain go for its holiday?!!!

Emotional blackmail at its best ... for all that it might be unconscious as of now ... but it won't take long for it to become conscious and deliberate.

Diya - I had high hopes for Anjali's character especially since DB renegotiated her contract. At some point I was hoping she would be shown as a strong nayi soch woman. But I have to agree with you, Anjali is shown as a weak delusional woman. I think DB should have walked out. I do not see any growth or potential in this character if they continue on this path.

I will give her the benefit of doubt on the manipulation for a few more episodes coz she has gone thru an ordeal but if the delusional behavior persists I think they should just stop showing her and just lock her up in a room😆 I don't intend to see such weak portrayal that is an insult to woman hood.

Partly RM folks have to be blamed for treating her like a child. They need to snap her out of it, stop the blame game and make her accept reality. Having a child without a father is a stigma?😲 Which world are we living in? The entire Shyam saga needs to unfold, no more half truths!

What I would love to see is - stop the saas-bahu saga! Mami's name calling needs to stop. Give her a role like taking care of a deranged person, be a mother to Anjali. Show her the mirror. Utkarsha is a fine actress and can be put to good use. Running behind the goat should be the role of the Prakash's.

Both Payal and Khushi need to get some respect and it should start with Arnav. He should strictly enforce the rule of the household since nani has failed. Gupta's sent their daughters with a hope that they will be treated well just like he wants Anjali to be treated.
