Today my question is to all the people who protect their child from everything.. Who try to shield their loved ones from reality.. Who try to keep those who are important to them from all the hardships of life.. Who make their kids/brothers/sisters/parents/friends believe that everything is rosy.. Who no matter what the cost to them try to keep the special persons universe and happiness intact????
What will happen to them when you are not there?? Do you realise that a day might come when you will be unable to protect them.. A day might come that no matter what you do they have to see for themselves that World is not ONLY rosy... it is different colours..
What u believe may not be a reality... It may be an illusion.. Which you have perceived as a reality, maybe just a pretense..
By shielding them from all adversities are we not making them weak.. Are we not incapacitating them? Are we not making them parasites and dependents? Are we not taking away their freedom?
Is Anjali the only person responsible for her condition or the state she is in? Are the people around her not responsible for this?
Can we excuse ASR for not telling her the truth? Not making her realise over a period of time that Shyam is not all that good... When he asked Khushi why did u let her worship him like a GOD...Why did he??
Can we excuse anyone from Raizada's for treating Anjali as a porcelain doll, who would fall apart with a gust of wind? She never fought her battles.. There was always someone shielding her from the ugly truths.. And then you expect her to face reality.. How can she??
the need for Anjali to depend on others has come from years of this behaviour.. First it was her brother and family.. than it was her husband.. And Now NO ONE is allowed by her side..
Her illusions are her reality... She was never allowed to cut her umbilical cord.. And suddenly she is expected to put the past behind her and bounce back?? She was made into a person who always needed someone's support.. Before marriage it was her family.. After marriage, Shyam was that support.. And then you go ahead and remove that wall which was supporting you.. The person will fall.. The person will stumble.. She will take time..
But have we learnt from our mistakes.. True Anjali wants to be left alone.. But does that mean you should? A person with the mental make up of Anjali.. A person whose world has come apart.. has been left in her room to mourn without supervision in her delicate condition... Is the family justified in doing this? Has anyone made any attempt to try to talk to her besides her brother, who is responsible for all this sorrow..
Khushi, a pure, innocent person who is unable to see her husband and his di in pain.. is trying to reach out to Anjali.. despite being told not to.. She knows she reminds Anjali of the ugly truth.. But she also knows that it is imperative for Anjali to realise the truth., no matter how bitter the truth is..It is unhealthy for Anjali to be left alone in her misery.. It is necessary to show Anjali the light at the end of the tunnel.. If Anjali fails to see that, she will drown in the ocean of misery. At this point anything is better than jus sitting in a corner and crying..
Khushi's apology and one sided talk with Anjali, set a chain of motion in Anjali's mind which triggered her to leave for the hospital and request the doctor for an abortion.. Are these an actions of a person who sees herself in the role of a mother? Was her resolve steely?Was she determined? NO.. She had difficulty coughing out the words.. She was trembling while saying the words.. The mother in her is not weak.. The mother in her is trying to emerge and silence the wife in her.. The mother in her is leaving a trail of bread crumbs.. (here I would like to thank ruby for leading me upto this conclusion)
Her decision to abort was a rash decision.. but her obsession with the good image of Shyam Manahar Jha is overpowering her every other feeling... or is it the shattering of illusion that has spurred her into this??? We are yet to see that..
What Khushi said to her could have been perceived by her both ways.. Khushi's coming up to her and admitting her fault, making an effort to resolve the situation when her husband did not even once try to talk to her... If he was so truthful, why did he not stand up to her brother?? If she was as precious to him as he professed why did he let her slip from his grasp so easily? Was she not worth fighting? Or was he wrong all along?
Else, as Arnav also said to her that he had to think about her and her kid.. And as Khushi said she had to eat for this kid.. Was this kid central to the breaking of her world??
Or has she lost hope in life and the WILL to live.. The wife in Anjali has.. But the mother in Anjali wants to live for her kid.. The battle id between a mother and a wife.. The sister has already lost the battle at the hands of the wife.. It is the mother who will reforge the bonds with sister to bring the wife down to her knees..
The doctor like any sensible doctor refuses to go through with Anjali's demand telling her its morally and legally wrong.. A message to the audience that no matter what the problems you face, please do not hurry into such decisions and please do not run to people who are willing to do the same for money.. Think your decision through, discuss with everyone and then decide what is the BEST option and if that option is permitted by the law at that stage in pregnancy... Illegal terminations are still a leading cause of death in mothers due to infection or hemorrhage following the procedure not only in India but all over the world..(please do read Sonshine's post on this matter on pg 2)
From Arnav to Khushi

We are seeing the husband ASR for the first time... A husband who knows his duty.. A husband who believes that the rightful place of his wife is beside him.. A husband who once taught someone that it is your duty as a husband to always support your wife and keep her happy..
Today that husband is hell bent on bringing out a smile to the lips of his beloved... Is urging his wife to stop walking away from him.. And enjoying the blush spreading on her cheeks..
teasing her that, he had no clue that Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada knows how to Blush with his trademark smirk.. All this to see her delicious lips curve in to a smile even when he is burning in hell of misery..
Isn't this couple a treat to watch? They discover new things about each other every day..
Their foot dance here made me think.. that Khushi will attempt to leave RM for probably Anji's sake.. But he will not let her walk out.. will concede in the end only because she will be miserable.. and then make every attempt to get her back by his side asap..
Here I must say what I have been dying to say since yesterday.. Khushi is looking radiantly beautiful... She is looking like a newly wed bride engulfed in the glow of love and happiness.
The little moments they are sharing are so wonderful... so damn romantic.. Who needs huge gestures.. when we have romance in every frame they are in.. That doesn't mean we would mind huge romantic gestures in the near future..
When Arnav comes back home in evening, she goes to him a little worried about her talk with Anjali and the fact that Anjali has not eaten anything.. he immediately gets up and asks what happened? puts a reassuring hand on her shoulder asking if everything is fine..
Next scene where she wants to go with Arnav and nani stops her, he again puts a comforting hand on her shoulder telling her, its ok.. Don't worry.. Everything will be fine.. And then asks her to take care of everyone as he leaves.. And she calls him and asks him to inform about his progress.. Reminded of the time when nani asked Arnav to take Khushi with himself to find Anjali..
Beautiful titsy bitsy conversation between husband and wife.. No awkwardness.. Only love and gentle care... acceptance is written all over their body language.. How he has started to cherish her..
Enough jibber jabber i guess.. Party time for IPKKNDians... TRP 3.4.. Back to top 5.. How we have waited for this moment..
