Hello friends,

Last Friday I made a post regarding Arnav's actions. I predicted that he planted the bud of a new MU because of he refused to come completely clean in front of the family.

Avni (Highonshows) told me that I'm jumping to conclusion without any proof. I should wait until Wednesday (which is today) before stating that. I thought about it and realized that she is right. So I agreed to wait.

But today, I'm extremely sad to say that I was right.

Nope... You did not hear me wrong. In this instance, I would have been happier if I was proven wrong.

You see, I believe that when you hide behind partial lies and half-truths, someone always gets hurt.

In this case, it's always Khushi and today Payal too.

We saw lovely Arnav and Khushi romance. Like rest of the IF members, I was happy too. But only when I was watching them as single shot. When I was watching them with the rest of the scenes, it left me cold.

On Friday, Arnav declared in front of everyone that Di and Khushi are the two most important person in his life. But since then, he proved over and over that First Di and then Khushi are the two most important people in his life.

How? Let's discuss.

Monday:

What happened > Arnav does not come clean with Anjali even though he told the family that he will talk to Di first. Anjali grabs his hand and throws him out of her room indicating that she would like to be left alone.
Khushi, on the other hand, comes to him looking for comfort. Sad, upset and teary. He stops her from going away, picks her up, puts her on the bed to sleep and leaves. The same thing I'd do for my friend (minus the picking up part)...

What I expected > When my husband consoles me, I expect him to hug me tight and tell me that you have suffered a lot and from now on, I promise, nothing and nobody will hurt you ever again... I expect him to kiss my forehead and make me believe that he will be there by my side. That I matter to him.

Since I believe that Arnav loves Khushi at least as much as my husband loves me, I expected the same. Stupid of me, I know.

However, some IF members stated very firmly: Their love does not require words. Apparently not. Which is why it's gonna get into trouble.

Some said: He is a man of action. Really? Then where is the actions of a husband who almost lost his wife? This is the action of a friend, a well-wisher. Arnav was much more in a husband mode when he was kidnapped.

Tuesday:

What happened > All through the night Arnav thinks of his Di. Khushi silently sits by his side and supports him. He looks at her and accepts her support. Khushi is pleased with that and so are the IF members. But did Arnav support Khushi?
Nani asks Arnav about the incidents. Arnav confesses he knew about Shyam and reveals just enough to justify his actions but not the truth regarding his marriage. So the circumstances regarding his marriage to Khushi is still kept in dark.

What I expected > Arnav to be a man and reveal the reason behind his marriage and the extent of Khushi's sacrifice for this family. But apparently he has done enough. He is a man of few words, he does not know how to apologize and for him to confess that he made "may be" the worst mistake of his life by not trusting Khushi is tantamount to saying a thousand sorries.

Yet, he can go pleading to his Di who clearly wants to be left alone (he finds endless supply of words then)... He can say sorry to his Di (He has absolutely no problem saying it to her)... Yet he can't do that to Khushi who according to him, is as important as Anjali. Strange...

The result > Nani asks Khushi to stay away from Anjali (very politely. I know). Why? Anjali is upset with her. But excuse me, Anjali is upset with Arnav too. Then why not tell him to stay away as well? Oh but, he is the man. So we can't tell him anything. But Khushi, you are extra in this household. We can tell you anything.

If Arnav had revealed the truth regarding his wedding, then I wonder, would this extra bahurani (daughter-in-law) treatment would have occurred? After all, no one told Payal that you knew the truth and you supported Khushi, so stay away from Anjali.

Why Khushi is the target? May be because somewhere deep inside, you blame her for being the object of lust for Shyam?

What happened > Arnav continues his pleading and Di-pacifying. Anjali clearly does not want to talk to him. However, never once he shows remorse for his actions against Khushi for last few months or his insults regarding her upbringing, her character, her parents...

Why? Khushi has forgiven him. So the slate is clean and everything is hunky dory. No need to repent or say sorry to her. Pffft... she is just a wife who loves me. She does not need it. Let's forget it and flirt instead.

Fandom swooned and TRP got increased. But I was thinking that this is the man who was so romantic when he was captive and Khushi was his only hope on his way out. He was so sorry for hurting her to save her life that instead of giving her information to release him, he said sorry instead.

But the moment he comes home, he forgets all insults, all wrongs he did to her. As if he left a smiling Khushi secured in his love.

And people are happy that he is smirking and looking hot...

Some even said that Arnav will look bad saying sorry. I wonder, do you have to look a pleading, begging, slobbering idiot when you say sorry? Can't you say it with pride and dignity? Can't you say, "Khushi, I know I have done you wrong and I appreciate that you forgave me. But I still need to say it for my own sake. I'm sorry with all my heart that I did not trust you. I promise, it will never happen again. I love you and I will trust you from now on." Such simple words. But so much love and power behind them.

Are we, women, have so little self-respect that we are happy with whatever crumbs we get? Don't we have the guts to go to our husband, the person who is the closest to our heart, and demand all? Love, respect, honour, dignity and right to be treated as equal?

Arnav's brief guilty look and romance with Khushi left me with a cold feeling in my tummy and my head screamed that after all that Khushi has gone through, this is not enough. But it seems only I felt it.

Wednesday:

What happened > Arnav flirted with Khushi and brought a shy smile on her face which was his plan.
Arnav asks her to step forward and not go back. Khushi takes it literally.

She feels stepping forward means mending fences with Di.

Despite Nani's warning, she takes food to Di and tries to fix the relationship.

Anjali goes missing.

When Khushi reveals that she was the last one who saw her, she gets a stern look from Nani. Both Payal and her gets scolded by Manorama mami for ruining their home. (Point to be noted here, even when Khushi knew that she will get blamed, she stood up for her actions... Arnav, in spite of being a man, could not do that in front of his own nani)

What I expected: Exactly that. I predicted the undercurrents yesterday which was still subtle. Today we saw it coming into open.

Some people are saying today that why did she go to Anjali's room when Naniji said no?
My question, why did Arnav go into Di's room when she herself said no?

Some people's question, now Khushi will be blamed for Anjali's disappearance.
My answer, what's new about that? Khushi is blamed for everything.

What happened > Anjali takes an auto in spite of lots of cars at her disposal and goes to nursing home. But does not pay him (even though she has enough money at home to support Shyam's very expensive lifestyle and his brother's own kidnapping)...

The auto driver comes home demanding money and conveniently stops Arnav and reveals her location. (He could have talked to the guard at the gate and he would have called the Raizada mansion, but no... he had to stop Arnav's car... Last time I checked, you have to step out of the main gate to catch an auto. And just because you are standing in front of a gate trying to catch one, does not necessarily mean that you live in that home. I wonder how the auto guy connected the dots? And why did he came all the way back here instead of looking for her in the nursing home?)

Arnav again goes to the nursing home and hears the doctor (very conveniently) calling Anjali's name.

This entire incident is so full of coincidences that it is taking me a serious hajmola (digestive pills) to swallow. My guess for ME was, Anjali staged this abortion to bring her husband back.

Even this morning we saw her looking at Shyam's photo lovingly... So the idea of aborting his child does not gel with her attitude.

I guess we will see what's cooking in her mind... But one thing for sure, Arnav's lack of explanation will prove fatal to his, Anjali's and Khushi's relationship...

Thursday:

What happened > Anjali decided to self-abort. She goes to an open operation theatre and picks up a scissor. But keeps staring at it until Arnav shouts Di... Then she gets all in a hurry to self-abort. If you really wanted to do it, then why did you wait until someone arrived? People who are determined to commit suicide, just do it. They don't wait for someone to come and save them. Another coincidence I am finding hard to digest.

What I expected > Exactly that...

What happened > Everyone blaming Payal and Khushi saying that they broke the peace of this house.

What I expected > Exactly that... And I agree. They did ruin the peace of that house. They were happy living in cuckoo land and you showed them reality. How dare you? Of course by now, Arnav would have been dead with no one the wiser and the family would have been on the streets begging. But truth? That is the worst punishment for this family.

What happened > Anjali stopped Arnav from leaving and said everything was okay until yesterday (funny, considering Arnav almost died yesterday... Oh, you mean everything was okay in your la la land. Sorry my mistake... Do continue)... She requested teary eyed to her brother, you can do everything... Can you make everything perfect again? Can you make my life like before where I had my husband with me? Please bring my Shyamji back...(So what if next time he succeeds killing you and ruining your wife's reputation. My la la land should be intact...)

What I expected > Please read above. Exactly that... Oh wait, I expected a little more. I expected Arnav to tell her what he knows about Shyam and come clean... But silly me. Keep expecting him to become a man and he never will be in front of his Di...

What happened > Mamiji comes and tells Arnav that last one to see Anjali was Phatti Saree. Arnav gets angry, drags Khushi into his room and accuses her for being the root of all problem in this house. He says because of you, Di is suicidal and if you were not in my life, this would not have happened.

What I expected > Do I need to say this? Or those people who have been thinking I'm nuts for saying anything against their darling Arnav would like to do the honours?

Anyone would like to remember his statement that his Di and Khushi are equally important and I was repeating that he is not showing it?

All the people who said that he is a man of action...

Did he show that Khushi is important through his actions?

Did you finally see that Khushi will NEVER have respect and dignity in that household unless she leaves?

I mentioned before that the only way to fight MU is complete truth...

All I can say is HENCE PROVED...

Today, I saw defeat in her eyes... She knows today what I knew way before.

Now let the redemption begin...

Yes, Yes and Yes...for your comments regarding Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

It is sad that many people feel we are overreacting and need to take a chill pill. Somehow this never ending trauma against Khushi needs to end...right here...right now. I agree this is fiction...but I don't know why Indian television is hell bent on making the woman a sacrificial lamb. Writers console themselves saying it is for TRP...but is it really?

I completely agree with you. He just told the bare minimum required to his nani. He spoke enough to let her know that Khushi has been Shyam's victim, but not enough for her to know that he has hurt her as well. Of course, a point here can be made in his defense that whatever happens between the two of them is kept between them only, but at certain times, especially when living in a joint family, certain truths need to be revealed for people to live in harmony. By not revealin gthe truth of their marriage to her, he inadvertently made Khushi the scapegoat again. However, I do see a ray of hope. I think if the family blames Khushi and Arnav holds her responsible for his di's rash reaction, it will make Khushi reach her breaking point. She can take a lot, but when she snaps, she REALLY snaps. She is going to unleash her pent up emotions very soon and Arnav is going to get the brunt of it. The ME promo hints on that at least...

Thank you. I'm sort of persona-non-grata these days. But my point is that Arnav needs to learn to give up his pride for Love and Khushi needs to learn to not give up her self-respect for love...

Agreed. In a nuclear family, you can keep your secrets between a husband and wife. But in a joint family, where you have to live with the rest of the family member, share kitchen, share living area etc., you will have to come clean. Arnav can't be with Khushi all the time. How will he protect her when he is not around? Khushi won't share what Arnav has not... So does he expect her to keep her head down and take everything that is dished out to her? Then what is the difference between IPK with rest of the saas-bahu sagas on SP?

We saw lovely Arnav and Khushi romance. Like rest of the IF members, I was happy too. But only when I was watching them as single shot. When I was watching them with the rest of the scenes, it left me cold.

😭 IPK is running for 2 kinds of ppl... 1, romance for us... 2, the torture for the oldies...

On Friday, Arnav declared in front of everyone that Di and Khushi are the two most important person in his life. But since then, he proved over and over that First Di and then Khushi are the two most important people in his life.

Sad...but Di first...

How? Let's discuss.

She doesnt need romance now...

What I expected > When my husband consoles me, I expect him to hug me tight and tell me that you have suffered a lot and from now on, I promise, nothing and nobody will hurt you ever again... I expect him to kiss my forehead and make me believe that he will be there by my side. That I matter to him.

Hes not her husband...her relation with him is not as simple as urs is with urs????

Since I believe that Arnav loves Khushi at least as much as my husband loves me, I expected the same. Stupid of me, I know.

Ya...it has hit him now...time shall heal it all...

Nani asks Arnav about the incidents. Arnav confesses he knew about Shyam and reveals just enough to justify his actions but not the truth regarding his marriage. So the circumstances regarding his marriage to Khushi is still kept in dark.

He doesnt want to tell them that he will let her go after 6 months??? He knows them...they will make her leave NOW...

Yes...cause shes his mom...n Khushi is a sensitive subject...plus he doesnt want to loose her...he knows he has been cruel to her...but now...he has to handle her with care...hes trying...

Shes the unpaid maid...a bahuu... 😡

If Arnav had revealed the truth regarding his wedding, then I wonder, would this extra bahurani (daughter-in-law) treatment would have occurred? After all, no one told Payal that you knew the truth and you supported Khushi, so stay away from Anjali.

Anjali might be jealous of khushi...cause shyam chose her over anjali...

Why Khushi is the target? May be because somewhere deep inside, you blame her for being the object of lust for Shyam?

yesss

Who said he will look bad saying sorry??? He should woo her n ask her for forgiveness and look after her...n protect her...thats HIS RESPONSIBILITY...

Are we, women, have so little self-respect that we are happy with whatever crumbs we get? Don't we have the guts to go to our husband, the person who is the closest to our heart, and demand all? Love, respect, honour, dignity and right to be treated as equal?

This is desi thinking...i hate it alll...i know it alll...GOD the amount of bro in laws i have...lol...dont want to go there...let the sleeping dogs lie...

Arnav's brief guilty look and romance with Khushi left me with a cold feeling in my tummy and my head screamed that after all that Khushi has gone through, this is not enough. But it seems only I felt it.

I wrote about it...that his smile disappeared...he will feel bad...if he doesnt we will make him feel bad...

Wednesday:

What happened > Arnav flirted with Khushi and brought a shy smile on her face which was his plan.
Arnav asks her to step forward and not go back. Khushi takes it literally.

She feels stepping forward means mending fences with Di.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏Perfect, you said it Tia. This is what I have been saying as well. Why is there no fairness in Arnav? Yes he did say Khushi is as important but is she? He dishes out love in installments but its always di di di...I find this love for once's sister very unnerving and uncomfortable. There is a reason one is sister and other is wife, and Arnav needs to realise the difference.
To me as a wife if my husband doesnt apologise then I know something is wrong, most married woman who is in a decent relationship will know that too. The fact that he goes all di di di and then oh wait i did say that khushi means too so he then goes to pacify her makes real sense doesnt it?
Frankly speaking I would have liked some heart to heart talk...words sometimes do matter
