Awesome post...ur right the family knows Shyam more than khushi...but today they saw the true colors of shyam...n the sad part was no one stood up to defend them...what good r husbands if they cant stand up for their wives...Yes Arnav slapped him n avenged khushi...but not enuff...hard times r in store for both the girls...sad...

(First Love, For The Very First Time!)

The Verdict - ASR Breaks His Silence!

Arnav and Khushi - Khushi and Arnav -

Just when Khushi thought Shyam's acceptance to Mami's accusation about "Yes" to divorcing Anjali would bring closure to the ugly game that Shyam played, Shyam started a string of new accusations!

Today saw the endurance of the sisterly love of Payal. Today saw the unwavering support of NK to Khushi. Today saw the heartbreaking downfall of Anjali's first and only love. Today saw the shattering of trust the Raizada family had put in Shyam over the years. Today saw end of Arnav's silence. Today saw the verdict delivered by ASR to bring justice to his love, but lose ground with his sister's love in the name of protection.

The Final Showdown and And The Closing Argument/s with rebuttal::

Shyam continues , "Yes, I had to say "yes' to divorce Rani Sahiba to Khushi ji.. because..I was afraid if I said "No' what might she do given her disturbed state of mind." Anjali looks at Khushi who looks at Shyam with hurt and disbelief as Shyam continues, "Like what she has done now.. may be even more dangerous than that... That's what I was afraid of when I said, 'Yes'!" NK looks at him with disbelief, Mami looks at him with weighing eyes, Arnav knows well that he is lying... Aakash is all confused..Nani does not find it convincing.. Payal cannot believe what he says! Shocked and hurt Khushi asks with tearful eyes, "What?...What did you say?" Shyam goes, "Khushi ji, till today I thought that I would not pay any attention to all these things..somehow would manage to hide it.. as if nothing ever happened... " Arnav gives him a killer look as he knows well that Shyam is playing Khushi..."Now what can you do, Khushi ji! It's your fault but then.. it's not your fault either.." Anjali just has had too much, Payal tries to understand what he is up to. "It happens at your age.. you are so young! At this age your heart desires things.. dreams.. without thinking of consequences..Khushi cannot believe his accusations.. it starts breaking her down. Arnav looks at Shyam with rage building up in his eyes..Mami is still not convinced. NK is shocked to hear what he say. Shyam now changes his color, "But now, Khushi ji, how can I keep quiet when you have crossed all the limits!" Anjali is already overwhelmed.. Payal tries to control herself.. Arnav cannot believe his audacity..

Shyam turns to Anjali, holds her on shoulders and says, "Rani Sahiba, this is not a new thing.. Khushi ji has been giving clues for a long time now..for how long.. and what clues.. I feel ashamed to talk about it, Rani Sahiba.." Arnav's rage builds up.. Khushi cannot believe how low Shyam is stooping..Anjali still tries to make sense of what Shyam says..Nani is just very hurt.. Aakash is confused.. Shyam goes on to accuse, "And that's why she asked me to divorce my Rani Sahiba!..." As Arnav's anger build up since Shyam has taken his silence for granted, and Payal's tolerance is about to end, Shyam says, "She has been up to all these cheap tricks since the day I met her..first I thought that I was making a mistake understanding her.. but then she started talking openly... It's my mistake that I did not pay attention even though I understood... But the longer I kept quiet..the more courage she gained... she alone knows what kind of excuses she made to be around me..."

And The Ugly Truth Comes Out: Payal cannot hold it any longer, she screams, "Enough!" As stunned family members look at her, she walks over to Shyam aggressively and says, "Stop your non-sense! Aren't you ashamed of blaming someone else for your own mistakes?... I and Khushi have kept mum long enough.. do you know why?.., Payal reaches for Anjali and says with a heavy voice and tearful eyes, "Because we did not want to see Di get hurt!... did not want to see this family fall apart... This family would have shattered the day they came to know the real you!" Anjali takes it all in... it is her beloved husband's word against others' word..Anjali continues, "But, no more! If you would put dirty blames on my sister, I won't keep quiet anymore!" Shyam is a bit surprised at Payal's sudden outburst..his mind gets busy thinking of next move when Aakash asks, "Payal, but what's the matter?.. Clarify.." Payal says, "Aakash, he stayed at Buaji's as a paying guest for many months!. He deceived all of us.. Amma, Babuji, Buaji, Khushi, myself..everyone!.. If you don't believe me, then ask them!.. Call Buaji right now and ask her if he got engaged to Khushi or not calling himself an unmarried man!" Everyone including Khushi and Anjali are stunned at the revelation. Arnav just got a confirmation on what Khushi had told him about her being engaged to Shyam when he stayed at Buaji's a an unmarried paying guest and fooled all of them.

Khushi does the right thing - she does not even look anywhere else... straight walks over to Anjali, holds her hand, gives them a gentle rub and says to a silently crying Anjali, "Di.. believe me.. I never wanted these things to be revealed.." Anjali looks at her with welled up eyes, Shyam shakes his head in disgust and thinks.. Arnav carefully watches their interaction.., "I knew how much hurt it will cause everyone!.. I neglected things even when I saw them. did not mind them even when aware.. just for the sake of peace and happiness of this family!" Anjali gets dizzy.. starts losing her balance.. Arnav rushes to support her, "Di!" As Khushi still hold Anjali's hand, Arnav supports her holding her shoulders..He does not make eye contact with Khushi or anyone, keeping his cool he says, "Will clarify all this later... Di, let's go.." he starts taking Anjali towards the stairs as she cries her heart out silently.. Khushi watches her with tearful eyes.. every member of the family is concerned about Anjali.. except Shyam... he is thinking about his next move...

Arnav does not make it too far with Anjali when Shyam calls from behind in a strong voice, "No, Saale Sahaab!... I want to clarify everything right now, right here!" Arnav looks painfully at Anjali's shaking body, she and Arnav trun around.. now Arnav's eyes have rage and hurt in them... the lion has woken up and cannot be kept leashed long...Shyam goes on, "I do not want any kind of misunderstanding betwen Rani Sahiba and me! It will nice if everything gets clarified in front of everyone!" Shyam is now taking Arnav's silence for granted.. he knows that Arnav will not say anything that might hurt Anjali! But now, rage and anger have built up in Arnav's eyes!

Payal and Anjali are shocked at his audacity.. he goes on, "If these two sisters have decided to destroy me, then I am determined to bring all the truth out in open today!" Khushi is shocked.."What did you say Payal ji, that I was engaged to Khushi ji?" "Yes, at our house. in front of all of us!" Payal answers. Anjali and Khushi are shocked that he started this topic again. Arnav's eyes carefully watch Anjali as he keeps an eye on Shyam. The lawyer in Shyam starts playing again, "Ok, let's say it is true, then show me the pictures of engagement!... It is such a huge custom.. there must be photographs, right! Then what happened? Bring those then.. show me now!" Shyam knows the answer well before even Payal says, "There's none!... Babuji was very sick then..no one thought of pictures ...!" Shyam claps in dramatic style and mocks, "Wah! ... Babuji was sick but the engagement was necessary... but no pictures were taken.. because taking pictures would have made Babuji sicker, right Payal ji?" Now Arnav's anger is building up. Knowing that he is winning the argument, confidently Shyam says, "Great, there is not a single evidence.. or proof that you have but you have thousands of excuses to save your sister!... why would I get engaged when I am a married man?" Payal strongly retorts, "You never said then that you were a married man!" Arnav focuses on Anjali..Payal walks over and says to Anjali, "Di, he did not just lie to us.. Dadiji, Ma ji.. Aakash.. he lied to all of you!... We never knew that he was the son-in-law of this house! ... The Khushi found it out, we threw him out of our house!" Arnav just got validation of all the points Khushi had told him..

Shrewd Shyam now makes a different move! He has an amazing quality to stay in control of his emotions, he says, "I am sorry, Aakash! Till now I thought only Khushi ji was dangerous for this family but now I after listening to all of this it seems that their whole family is after this family!" He includes himself with the Raizada's to the surprise of Khushi and Payal! Stunned they look at him as he goes on, "Payal ji, why were you quiet till now if you loved your sister so much?" "Because, we did not want.." He cuts Payal off, "That your marriage in this high class family should not halt due to this, right?.. that the big dream of yours could get crushed.. " Payal shakes her head in disagreement! Aakash and Arnav know the reality of Aakash's marriage..Shamelessly Shyam approaches the head of the house, Nani ji, "Nani ji, now i understand the reasons behind all of this now that I think..." Arnav wonders what new thing he is about to come up with, when Shyam says, "Aakash, during your 'Roka' ceremony their Buaji came to me with a pension problem. .. and Mami ji as soon as I agreed, she tried to take advantage of the situation..." "All lie!" Payal screams interrupting him. Aggressively Shyam jumps on her, "Then what is the truth? ..This cheap story of that the two of you have been telling us?" Now Shyam crosses the line as he approaches Nai and Mami, "Naniji,.. Mami ji.. first the younger sister made thousand of excuses to come in this house.. then gets a job in AR designs..but when it did not work out then tried to trap me... when that move failed. then both these sisters eyes the two sons of this house and trapped them!" Aakash and Arnav know the truth behind their marriages.. Aakash had to woo Payal with the help pf Khushi and Arnav when none of the sisters were even willing to consider initially!

Now Shyam becomes overconfident, "If what you say is true, Payal ji, then tell me just this one thing - why did you hide such a big thing from Aakash? Why did you not tell him?.. well, let me tell you.. that's because these two sisters came up with this story just now!.. When nothing like this happened then what would they tell any of you?" Payal rushes to Aakash, "No, Aakash! I did not tell you this because of Di.. and.." Shyam again interrupts playing cool, "Payal ji, let it be whatever you did! I understand - the girl from disadvantaged homes do dream big!" Shyam now starts stooping low..."Khuhsi ji.. Khushi. you crossed the limits today! I am afraid of you now! I think you are mentally sick!" Khushi looks at Arnav who does not make eye contact, clenches his teeth and keeps his quiet...Shyam goes on, ".. otherwise why would you dream about a married man?.. continue to misunderstand that he likes you.. if this not a a bad mental sickness then what is this?"

Khushi loudly answers him, "Lies! Lies... every word of yours is a lie!" As the family watches them, Arnav seems Ok with Khuhsi's outburst, she goes on, "I hate this man! I cannot tolerate him at all!" "Really, you could not tolerate? Then why did you keep finding excuses to come to my room?.. Why did you talk like that.. why did you say that you were lonely? ... At times to feed the kheer... or to say that you wanted to destroy Salle Sahaab!" I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! This is what I was worried about when Khuhsi kept saying things that were not warranted and Shyam being the shrewd person would only grab an opportunity to use her own words against her!

Everyone is stunned! NK comes to the rescue, "Khushi ji was lying to you! Yes, Jijoo, Khushi was lying to you.. so that she could fool you! So that she could win your trust to save Nannav!" Shyam is not too thrilled with this declaration. He goes, "Nk Bhai, you still don't get it! ..when someone like me could not escape them, who are you!" Taking Arnav's silence granted he says, "These two want me, you and Sale Sahaab to dance to their tunes! A tear trickles down Khushi's face.. Arnav watches that and his eyes turn mellow! Shyam yells at Khushi, " You would destroy Arnav. did you say it or not?" Khushi yells back, :Yes, I did!" Arnav is shocked.. so is everyone at her acceptance! Khuhsi answers, " .. To win your trust! Di, when I came to know that he had kidnapped Arnav ji, I tried to win his trust to save Arnav ji!. I did it all to collect evidence against him.. to save Arnav ji!

Shyam raises a finger and says, "Enough Khushi ji! You were saving only yourself... your motive .. your heart.. that's what you were protecting!.. That heart.. that I was about to break in aday or two! Because, Khushi, you don't hold any place in my heart!" Arnav looks at Anjali.. she is still crying with her eyes closed.. Arnav looks at Khushi as she says to him, "Arnav ji, believe me! I am telling the truth! I thought of only the betterment of this family.. and you! That's why I kept quiet! That's why I said all that to him!" Shyam interjects, "How should one trust you?" Then he targets vulnerable Anjali who is exhausted with emotional overburden, "Rani Sahiba, you know how much I love you!. How happy I am with you!.. How eager I am for our baby.. our little princess!.. And now this girl is meddling!.. " He turns to Khushi and says, "Khushi ji, you are an opportunist girl!.. the one who can do anything for her personal benefit!" This irks Arnav.. his eyes narrow down.. mind is working..

Khushi becomes emotional.. she says to Arnav with a cracked voice and tears trickling down her face, "Arnav ji, you must believe me!.. You know me! You know that I cannot do this ever!" Shyam interrupts her, "No, Khushi ji! You can go much farther than this..You are very deceitful lowly girl!.. the one who wants to break this home.. wants to destroy this family!.. And you can do anything for that!.. You can stoop very low for that!" Arnav's anger now reaching the brims..as Shyam continues Arnav clenches his teeth, ".. to the level that you try to trap your brother-in-law, Khushi ji!" Arnav is about to make a move with clenched teeth and anger spilling from his eyes, that went unnoticed by Shyam giving him false sense of security.. when he spots Anjali sobbing uncontrollably silently.. he controls himself! Khushi looks at the family with tearful eyes.. Nani ji cannot see her like that, Mami ji's eyes mellow. as Khushi talks to Arnav in heavy voice everyone watches, hurt evident in their eyes, "I know I have no evidence against him!.. Have no proof that can tell us what is the truth and what a lie!..But I know that I am truthful!" She takes couple steps towards him, says, "And if you look into my eyes... even you will see this truthfulness!" The love calls her beloved, "Arnav ji, just once look carefully into my eyes..and then decide what is the truth and what's the lie!" Arnav looks into Khushi's eyes... Nani shakes her head with worry and pain... Mami watches holding her breath..NK watches keenly..Aakash and Payal watch with full concentration as Arnav starts taking steps forward..

(This song is the closest one I could find for the situation and mood - the male part applies more appropriately to the current state of Khushi more where she asks Arnav to look into her eyes and decide- but many lines fit Arnav and/or Khushi both overall - lyrics apply to this particular episode...)

The Verdict: Maintaining his gaze, Arnav walks up to Khushi, looks her deep in her eyes.. Confident Shyam now comfortably watches them..He seems a bit surprised when Arnav's raged eyes settle on his face..Arnav's face and eyes harden... he clenches his teeth and before anyone realizes what's happening he slaps Shyam! Everyone's jaw drops open - Anjali starts crying uncontrollably..Stunned and angered Shyam quickly notices a crying Anjali .. "This is for the deception of my sister!" Arnav tells Shyam in a calm but firm voice, his eyes mean it...Then before anyone else realizes, Arnav slaps him again! Again everyone is stunned! As angry Shyam looks at Arnav holding his face.. Arnav tells him in a firm voice, "And this is for misbehaving with my wife!"... Shyam is shocked to hear this!

(Author's note: Brilliant dialogues today! Everyone did a wonderful job! The actors.. the CVs.. the camera.. the lights.. everything was just apt! Khuhsi's dialogues were just brilliant! Payal...Deepali,, did a phenomenal job..And Nk.. Karan shines in his dialogue delivery! Abhaas makes the best villain.. his mockery was phenomenal..ASR - oh, I am so happy to have my ASR back! )

That moment Khushi's eyes fill up with relief.. happiness... her heart fills up with more love for Arnav as she hears him say further, "These two are the most important people in my life!. and you have made the mistake of hurting them both!" As Arnav's words go down Shyam's ears like boiling oil, he notices Anjali crying her heart out and looking at Shyam longingly... Shyam tries to jump at the opportunity, "Rani Sahiba.." "No!" Arnav obstructs his path..to his surprise Arnav says, "Not anymore! Forget talking to Di, I wouldn't even allow you nearby her!..."

Clash Of Titans: Then he says in a cold and firm voice that gradually turns very loud, "Out of this house!.. I said, get out!" Shyam's shrewd eyes look at Khushi, thinks. looks at Anjali crying for him now... Arnav moves forward and pushes Shyam and says to him, "Enough, Shyam Manohar Jha! I won't allow you to hurt this family anymore! Do you get it? .." Khushi looks at Anjali with concern. Arnav says, "Aakash, Call the security - NOW! He grabs Shyam by his collar and starts pulling him towards the door, says, "I said call the damn security right now!...I want this person out of this house, this instant!" Arnav drags Shyam some more, Shyam pulls away Arnav's hand from his collar with force and screams, "Enough! Arnav Singh Raizada, how dare you grab my collar!.. mine!" Arnav keeps his voice low.. with clenched teeth and rage pouring from his eyes, he threatens Shyam, "I have not yet shown my courage.. if I show my brevity.. then you would spend your remaining life in jail!..Thank Di's prayers that I am letting you off the hook so easily... " They both stare each other in the eye for few moments before Arnav grabs Shyam by his collar and whisks him away to the door.. as Shyam struggles to free himself, "Let me go.. leave me.. I said leave!"

Anjali watches with hurt and horror.. her first and only love.. who turned out to be deceitful... but still her love.. being dragged to the main door..

Wonderful analysis lovely once again u proved that why we eagerly waiting ur post for the indepth view of the ep.and untold emotions.
You rightly said it all and true that there are a hard time ahead for Asr to come,
Where he have to convince his family and di for the truth of both gupta sisters, balancing his life with khushi and di, and mostly the inner guilt & turmoil what he have did with khushi.
We are desperatively waiting for those moments.
Enjoy the roller-coaster ride of ipk once again.
