pata hai ... this credit is all Gul's & Nissar's ... the Geet hero Gurmeet was fab as Maan Sir .. he became an ICON ... now u see him in his new serial ( Punar vivah) ... YUCK is all i can say .. the guy can't act to save his life .. & he was mind-blowing as Maan Sir ..

Gul & Nissar work a lot on look & prepping of their stars .. so that they get into the skin of the role ...

even mine is the first with Sobti Boy!!!/ ASR. After getting Intro to ASR, heard about his prev Bath hamari pakki hai, so went to You tube , could hardly watch 3- 4 epidoes and bits and pieces of Sobti and heroine / but it was no way near IPK, not at all gripping, dint get that urge to watch many times like IPK. ( watched his Munni dance, was good, and only 1 watch was enough).

But My God i dont know what is there with this IPK, specially the teej ep, diwali, nanithal, and Payash Marriage/ ASR flirty, kiss scene, havan ep, mehendi, uptill thier temple marriage , I can watch any number of time and I have watchd many times too. Holi episode was HOLYY , I loved it.

but after that marriage and SUhani llaaa laaa wala started, i hardly watched more than once except for few episodes untill now here and there. Then next one i watched many times was yesterdays KKGSR SMIRK...😃

So true.. the first time I saw BS was in Hero Passion advertisement... i loved the guy.. but didnt knw who he was...when I started watching IPK & adv. repeated I cld relate... but as per some of the old pic I hv seen of BS.. I didnt like him frankly... as thy say he has become handsome as the age progresses... almost all the actors in IPK are world famous only bcoz of this show...believe me...

I so agree with you Ruby... All credit to Gul and Nissar... they make ordinary guys... rockstars ! U know when Geet started, and I saw Abhinav Shukla (Dev Khurana)... I was quite happy with the pairing... but when I saw Gurmeet getting out of that river and realized this is the guy who played Ram in Ramayana... I was so put off !!! I must say, I was too judgmental initially... 'cos he was absolutely fantastic as Maan Singh Khurana ! I started watching Punar Vivah 'cos of him only... but have given up on it altogether now ! I also loved Drashti... previously in DMG, then Geet... and now in Madhubala as well... let's see how that one turns up !!!

I so agree with you Ruby... All credit to Gul and Nissar... they make ordinary guys... rockstars ! U know when Geet started, and I saw Abhinav Shukla (Dev Khurana)... I was quite happy with the pairing... but when I saw Gurmeet getting out of that river and realized this is the guy who played Ram in Ramayana... I was so put off !!! I must say, I was too judgmental initially... 'cos he was absolutely fantastic as Maan Singh Khurana ! I started watching Punar Vivah 'cos of him only... but have given up on it altogether now ! I also loved Drashti... previously in DMG, then Geet... and now in Madhubala as well... let's see how that one turns up !!!

yaar Drashti is one fine looking babe ... i think she is easily the most beautiful girl in TV land .. only if she got serious about her career ..she would be in Bollywood ... & a dam fine actress ... the way she does desire ... uff no one can pull it off ... she could teach sanaya a lot ..

I have not seen his work apart from IPK... just saw some of his old pics... and one very weird dance from his old show recently on SBB/S... where he was dancing, I might add, very stupidly... in just red/blue boxers and nothing else... in front of some fountain/garden... with Krystal d'Souza (Jeevika from Behna serial)...

I swear to God... it was the worst of Sobti.. ever !!!! ASR would be so ashamed of it !!! 😛
