But like u said, even I feel that we are quite responsible for it.. You know, by saying Anjali is dumb, pujali, etc etc.. and knowing the fact that the celebs read I-F, I think we blundered somewhere down the line.. making the role of Anjali look out of place.. so I don't blame Daljeet.. she's an actor and she needs to showcase her talent which has not yet been brought out by the PH..

I hope all goes well and she doesn't quit.. adjusting to a new Anjali will be hard for us, true! but what her co-actors? They'll be finding it totally difficult to act with a new person, considering the fact that they are such close friends :(

Sad, but hope is still there.. Daljeet's public statement will make all the difference :)

PH need to concentrate on the storyline & important to viewers to know what happened in Arnav & Anjalis past! As they scene they show his mum running away, Anjali dressed like a bride yet her & Shyam celebrated their 3 rd wedding anniversary last year? So what happened? I want to know ..

@ASR2020 - As much as I respect your opinion, I dont agree with you. An actor can demand challenges,when her character is taken for granted , she has full right to raise her concerns about her role. She has full right to quit if she doesnt want to continue or if she feels like her career isnt moving forward. Din't Barun take a leave of absence to pursue his career. He wanted change and when he got an opportunity he went for it. So if daljeet wants her character to be given more screen space, I am with her. Where as the baby bump thing goes, I dont really think that is the problem. She is a professional and if she finds the part interesting enough I dont think she might have a problem.

Oh and her being angry with her hubby's show going off air- I believe they both make their own decisions. It doesnt reflect on the other partner. And btw its their personal life, we shoudnt judge/ comment or link up their personal and professional life.

This is my honest opinion. All I can say is, if she wants to quit, All the best to her.

I have not been very happy reading that there would be track changes so as to pacify Daljeet's request. But then I have always understood the need for her to get more screen space coz she IS a very good actor. So if her demand is for a more meaningful role where she is not portrayed consistently as dumb, then yes I do agree she is right. But however I do not agree to her statement that this was a story of a brother & sister ... It is a story of star-crossed lovers & the sister is the reason why it is so, & yes she is an integral part of the story till date. The only problem is that the CV's have been unable to show this when it comes to involving the character -- & here I completely agree with Daljeet.

I am not calling for a Arhi presence on screen for all of the 20 mins in an episode, but the problem I have always noticed in this show is that the tracks when not focused on the leads, are always half thought out & turn out to fizzle off in the end -- best example for this is most of the Payal-Akaash tracks.
The CV's in this show always think to focus on newly thought of tracks just to bide time which I do not understand ... Why do they not focus on the major tracks they already have which in themselves can go on for months -- like Shyam's exposure to family, Shyam's exposure to Anjali, Arhi coming together against him, Arnav's past & its tracks, etc. ... They tend to save these tracks for future (not referring to the kidnapping track here coz that was required) but what I have always failed to understand is what are the CV's saving up for instead of playing out their tracks ... In this competitive industry & channel, should they not focus on the present tracks -- & if they do this, then I believe all the characters would get their screen space & not just the leads.

I really do not want Daljeet to quit & would like to see her be given better scope for displaying her acting prowess ... with just a tiny plea to the CV's -- No further MU between the leads please ... the show needs to pick up on the story front now & not keep going around in circles.

Here's to hoping that Daljeet does not quit & the story improves for all the characters including Anjali, Akash & Payal.

Hi. Nice post. However the thing is that no one really minds Anjali being given more screen space. The issue here is that cvs wanted to repeat the hug Shyam Khushi hug scene that Arnav saw but this time with Anjali. That is what caused the uproar thus dragging the mu further and further. Most shows these days don't drag their MU for so long.

The fault lies with cvs. Instead of giving Bubbly screen space they should have used the time to give Anjali space. Even in the comedy track cvs could have ended this MU and barun could have gone for his movie and Anjali could have been given a bigger role.

@ Bold so true they had wasted so much screen time on Bubbly. Instead Anjai could have given that time & space.

I DIDNT SAWT THAT INTERVIEW..BUT YESS IF DALJEET IS ASKNG ABT A MEANINGFUL ROLE..THEN SHE DESERVES..I MEAN SEE GUYS ANJALI'S CHARACTR IS SOO DUMB..SHE JUST LISTENS TO EVERY1...she need a promising charatr..nd ofcourse shyam,nk nd even mamiji..though they didgt gt much screen share but we always prais thair roles..thats wat she is asking nd i guess may be aftr this kidnapping track..nd the truth revld..den anjali's charactr will change...

Great post! Some good points made! I think up until maybe Holi, Anjali's charachter had a lot more screen time! Then came the GH track when everyone else at RM got less screen space and GH people were in focus!

In the past months of the ARHI marraige, the focus has been them and their evolving relationship! This was to be expected! I think IF Shyam's truth is now revealed to Anjali, then maybe the misscaraige will happen and then the track will change somewhat! It's all up in the air!

I have to say until the ARHI marraige, the story was EXCELLENT and well balanced! Other charachters besides ARHI were very watchable too! Even during this kidnapping track it has shown that, Mami, NK etc can really hold attention too!

I used to enjoy the "Nani-Arnav" issues! The "Gutan" he used to feel with Nani's constant critisizms of his choices etc etc...! There was a lot of DEPTH in the story line! Even comdedy (like the PAYASH pre-wedding, sangeet etc track) was WELL executed! Not OTT! It was very enjoyable! Between Dec and Feb the episodes are very "Re-watchable"! Especially the NK angle! I used to LOVE seeing Arnav's face when NK comes on the scene and steals all of Khushi's attention!

Somewhere in the past few months, the show lost it's way! (this was B4 BS took leave!)... it is only now coming back on track!

I hope DB stays, but whatever happens I hope the storyline is NOT compromised! THAT would be a shame, as I want to see the story we signed up for!
