Anjali is the pivotal role in IPK. She is ArHi's achilles heel. And Shyam's trump card. Her pregnancy is key to what is happening. I don't see how her role is not important but perhaps this issue is the progression. She has absolutely been watered down post the marriage. And the night of her broken marriage, she and ASR became Raizadas and forgot the Maliks.

It will be hard to find someone with chemistry with all of them. If the progression of her character is the issue, I understand, but if it's I don't want to wear a bump or play a mother, it's a different issue.

Hopefully negotiations are taking place. I really like the bro sis bond.

Anjali is way too important of a character to go. But she wants to leave it's her choice no need to force her.

Daljeet quitting might be a set back... We would have to get used to the new actress at a very crucial point ...Plus finding someone that has a great chemistry with barun, Sanaya and Abhaas in such a short amount of time will be difficult... Dint she say that Barun infact was like her lil brother...

Coming to Anjali, yes, everything does revolve around her.. Our Arhi, the MU, their past everything has a link to her then I wonder how come the PH havnt given her a tight role.. This happened with Shyam's character as well.. He was completely off the grid after Arnav and Khushi's wedding...but then again, he is also back with a bang!! So the same might happen with Anjali's role, can't it?? With the rumors (I dont much believe in spoilers) of her miscarraige and the Will, when it all reveals, there is alot of stuff for her to do. Because when the MU clears and Arnav comes to know about that creep, he wouldnt let that snake be with her dear Di. ( well atleast I hope)

Somewhere along the line I feel we are to be blamed as well.. We kept on demanding Arhi Arhi Arhi and PH/ CV's was busy delivering us what we wanted...

Were we all not crying along with Arnav when he told Anjali that his world was only his Di. Dint we all feel for Akash when Mami ji said no for Khoon bhari taang to be the Raizada bahu? These characters are fantastic and I wouldnt complain seeing them on the screen for more than 10 mins..

I think Daljeet should just hold on a bit, simply because there is alot to be told.

Great Post. Anjali is a very important factor or THE MOST important factor in Arshi equation. This is the crucial juncture for Anjali as she holds the key for Arshi's future now. It is very much obvious that the PH is indeed very supportive of their cast. But they don't need to kink the story line to suit Anjali as it should have been natural for Anjali's to be the pivotal role at this moment in the story because it is HER husband who is in the middle of all this mess! We are well past the stage of eye locks and fall and catch scenarios and honestly our show has been laying low post marriage. It is time to shake off the dust and have some real romance and drama.

In the interest of the show probably some negativity from her should also be welcomed. In a romance track Arshi can work together to bring the truth in front of her in a gentler way so that she can digest. In a way, we have negativity from Anjali but have a parallel love track with Arnav supporting Khushi that neutralizes that negativity. What ever the story line they choose, there are array of great possibilities from here if there is a will from the makers and I see Anjali's role only getting meatier in all those. Unless it is a decision for personal reasons, it is a mutual loss both for her and the fans. If the news is indeed true, may all her dreams come true!

I think the problem here is the difference in the perception of both the cvs and Daljeet. While Daljeet might have wanted a meaningful role and more space this would lead to a Anjali suspecting Shyam and Khushi the creatives and the whole audience in general wanted a Arnav redemption and move on ArHi love story. Shyam would still be integral part of the story as I probably think both Arnav and Khushi might keep quiet for sake of Anjali as she is pregnant. This would also mean that the pregnancy would go forward leading to a baby bump which Daljeet was against. I would have loved to see the pregnancy track of Anjali and how Arnav guards against Shyam's evil plans and if the actress is not too keen on sporting a baby bump then it is too bad. But I feel the whole loss would be of Daljeet as the future track would be how Anjali is going to emerge stronger and then how she gets re-settled in life with help of Arnav and Khushi. There are lot of replacements I have seen in past wherein the second actresses has walked away with all the honors and most probably that is going to happen here too.

so im more sympathetic to the Ph in this matter. they are clearly a lenient and supporting ph to their actors. they gave barun leave to persue his movie and worked a track around it. so im sure they are trying to work it out with daljeet. also yes in the past year anjali character has not had too much storyline... but wasnt that needed for the role. anjali is supposed to be someone is lives in her dream world... a good women to damaged to see the bitter truth. and they needed to build arhi's romance which lets be honest is the usp of the show.. its not anjalis story its their story.

role or not the whole story of the show revolves around anjali and protecting her. who did khushi lie for, who did arnav try to protect by marrying khushi. and i think her exit is coming at a time where anjali would get a lot of role. shyam truth is coming out soon and daljeet wants to quit now? i dont get it . it makes me think that daljeet might have personal reasons as well as professional. which i respect

daljeet might have issues with wearing a bump for the her baby track. again not blaming daljeet but i think the baby is imp to the story.

anjali baby is important to the character of anjali... it all she wanted for a long time. its the reason arnav didnt tell the truth right away. story wise if she has a miscarriage and finds out the truth abt shyam ... the logical track would be a mental hospital for anjali. which is not where they want to put anjali. they want the baby so she keeps strong for the baby or try to give shyam another chance for the sake of their child .. which would make sense. also her loosing the baby would make everything arhi have done all this time, they have suffered would be for nothing.

so if she quit it will suck but i my opinion i rather see a new anjali then the story turn into something it was never supposed to be. this show is not didi ki sauth... they changed it for the better and they should stick to ipkknd.

again im not trying to offend or bash daljeet.
