Fari what an awesome post, loved it, this is exactly the reason I have stopped commenting in those posts, I only comment on genuine spoiler posts, episode analysis, scene analysis posts. I have completely stayed away from Barun and Sanaya praising posts, because its only getting nastier and nastier. Thank God I have the maturity to differentiate that. Anyway I am interested to see how many follow your advice.

I joined IF in Jan 2012 but was a silent reader before that!!

Ok let me be honest,when there are lot of people their views bound to differ!!

I'm a SaRun fan not only Barun or only Sanaya fan and I love the forum!!

Yes negativity is there but I just ignore it!!

I think definition of negativity is also different for everyone!!

Sometimes I also lose it!!

I find many old members here now either only Sanaya fan or Barun fan and they also spread negativity!!

So do you think it's only about new members??

Now personal lives I agree there are fantasies!!

But almost every time some sensible comments also taken as bashing! I think you know it!!

Because as far as I know you've also faced it with some other honourable members of the forum!!

This is all I can say!!

True about the good old days.
I could rarely find the urge to comment on topics these days...but this one deserves 👏

I remember the early days of dissecting the scenes bit by bit and how calmly and sweetly everyone said their piece. How kind they were with their words.
There were a few times when I gave up my stand on certain ARHI moments just by the sheer delivery of some people's opinions.
It's so much fun to banter with people who cares about your opinion too.
The fun is kinda stale now...

I love the show still, and can't get enough of ASR.

EDIT:

I think the fan base has gotten younger. Age wise. The only reason I can think of for the juvenile behavior.

Excellent post. I love Arnav and Khushi and I also love Sarun's friendship. It is difficult to read ppl bash them for even a minor mistake. They are human beings after all and it hurts that they are sometimes harshly judged. I'm happy for both actors regarding their career and personal lives. Thanks for asking others to respect their decisions and life.
