Dear Lata,

Hope this letter finds you in pink of health. Firstly heartiest congratulations on the 1^st anniversary of IPK a very proud landmark and achievement for the team.

I am writing this letter to bring to your attention certain abnormalities in the production of the episodes. It has been brought to our express notice every week day at 8:00 pm unto 8:30 pm that your team is unable to perform at full capacity.

Let me take this opportunity to highlight certain glaring errors :

When you read the script & bring in the props for the scene .. it should match the dialogue on the scene .. let me explain with the help of a small example when the dialogue says "Arnavji ka boarding Pass" one is looking for a boarding pass not an airline ticket. Of course this was a scripting error then you as the supervising producer should have brought it to the notice of your Director that the dialogue should be changed ( which is a little more convenient) than looking for a new prop

When in a scene a character is hiding behind a curtain, is it remotely possible the curtain is not made out of sheer material , because if your audience can catch it then so can the villain. Would it be very difficult for you to pull the heavy drape closed as well so that there is an illusion of the fact that a man is trying to HIDE behind the curtain ( I can understand that you may want to show that Shyam guessed NK was behind the curtain ..but that as usual can be explained by FB's)

Anjali's room it has come to our notice that the room used for Anjali & Arnav are the same with changes in Interiors.. Off late the changes in interirors are so well done that it takes a lay viewer all of half a seconds viewing to get confused, whether this is Arnav's room or Anjali's.. just a note this distracts the viewer from actually understanding the fine scene that your script writer has written because the focus is on the dark table with the TV over it, the wardrobe of Arnav's with the big white locker inside.

Earlier there was a marked distinction maintained between the paints of the room off late grey seems to be the colour of IPK. When the shot division says that NK will move into Anjali's room & then the camera will pan to the wall that said wall should be mustard/yellow in colour ( which is the colour to depict Anjali's room) as is the case with the rest of the feature wall and not grey since that signifies Arnav's room.

When the script demands that a carpet laid on the floor is going to be lifted & the camera will pan on the floor, then would'nt it be prudent for you & your team to patch the floor up & put a lick of paint one can see the loose board hanging, It makes people wonder what property is Shyam lusting after, since all the money he will inherit will go in the upkeep of the house, again distracting the viewer from the goal which was NK finding the Key.

I could go on & on but I am sure that now that we have brought this to your notice we will expect some action taken forthwith.

For me todays episode was an extension of yesterdays episode .. the battle line was drawn yesterday & the first step to war has been taken.

I have covered most of the points in yesterdays & day before yesterdays redux ' on the formation of the army ..3 musketeers & etc 'But will highlight the most important pointer which came to action today'

EXCERPTS FROM YESTERDAYS POST'

He (SHYAM) is turning out to be one cunning fox ' The creatives are having a field day with his character .. the moment you have him figured he takes a turn around '.

First we got a relaxed Shyam ' he was unsuspecting of NK & was completely foxed by Khushi ' then came the Blood stain questioning .. & u saw the guilty Shyam ' & once again a glimpse of the Monumental rage when provoked ' Then u saw the sweet talker who tried to lie his way out of a tight spot ' again here u glimpsed the irritation & temper ( but was controlled & masked)
( Interestingly both these times Khushi was watching him closely ' she will use these insights to engage him ' like I said yesterday she will play on Shyam's EGO, She will reignite his LUST ' & then play on his Greed to get him to fail)

Lastly one saw a SMUG Shyam ' during the PUJA ' the camera kept panning on Shyam ' showing an almost relaxed & smug smile on his face '.

Here in lies his first defeat'. He feels he is undetected .. he feels no one knows his truth. ' he is confident in his success '. He has it figured out ' whatever was stopping him to reach the wealth ( the will or its clause) has been figured out by him .. ( this will unveil very soon)' hence the move to the travel agent ' ( the precap all tie this up)

Herein lies the key to how Khushi will be able to manipulate Shyam ' he is almost assured of his victory ' In his mind he is KING ' now he will want to be generous to his inferiors ( see how he presented the kurta to NK saying keep it) ,,, he will want to line up his admirers around him ' people to fawn over him ' & he will want to own possess every thing or person his heart desires '.

Khushi ' go strike lady ' the iron could'nt be hotter than now '

Now lets see this in respect to todays episode '

Khushi today has made the first move to trap Shyam ( the chakravuy mein entry ho gayi hai) She ignited his LUST ' Shyam's reaction to Khushi's twisting of the ankle.

Payal unwittingly today ignited Shyam's ire or rage by stopping him & not letting him help Khushi ( though Khushi was quick to bank the ire)

Khushi today again towards the end has ignited Shyam's GREED.

The 3 main things which make Shyam tick LUST, EGO & GREED are out in the open '.

This is the first movement of the battle .. this will lead Khushi not only to Arnav but will reveal many skeletons in Shyam's bag as well.

Firstly the impatience of Shyam through out the PUJA '

This lead one to ask ' why is he so impatient to go to the travel agent .. the puja cant last long so why through out the PUJA u see him checking his watch. There in lies the first hint that Shyam has figured the break to the will ( roy's will) he is impatient to move in & set his main plan into action' He is aware that there are 2 very important people in the house who know of Arnav's Kidnapping.. He knows that ASR has managed to escape once & hence he is in a rush '. Which brought to mind the saying " Haste makes Waste"

Shyam is under pressure to resolve this whole fiasco' and he will have to move fast .. which is where he will start making mistakes ( we all know Shyam is never successful in his endeavors)

The next one was once again he was denied the Prasad ' he is now so EVIL that a simple blessing is also eluding him '

its almost a reaffirmation of Khushi being Mata ka Avtaar ' As per legend Devi Maiyya has said Jab Jab Dharti mein Rakshas ka Raj hoga tab tab mein prithvi pe aake uska naash karungi"

Must hand it over to the Writers how beautifully they have woven the famous legend into the script, and here I would like to also hand it over to Khan Sahab 'how well he showed the same through out the first 5 ' 7 mins of the episode. The whole Monumental rage which was building inside Khushi during the AArti ' the way Khushi kept staring at Shyam the Evil one was simply superbly laid out .. one could almost feel if NK hadn't stopped Khushi she would've picked up the trishul of DM & attacked Shyam ( I know I know totally filmy .. but dint u get that feeling too)

Very well executed Khan Sahab.

The other was ofcourse the Igniting of Shyam's passion' The man truly is concerned about Khushi ' he is obsessively in LUST with her.. ofcourse he cloaks this in his mind as LOVE.

The moment Khushi is hurt he rushes to her ( do u remember the havan sequence during Payash wedding .. he had the same concern then to when Khushi walked in with a bandage on her arm)

So for Shyam his feelings have not changed ' they are banked down sometimes .. he is after all an opportunist ' but his LUST for Khushi is as BIG as his LUST for money ' he is truly GREEDY' I loved how Shyam helps Khushi to sit.. look how his other hand is placed protectively on her shoulder' he will not knowingly harm KHushi ( atleast not in this state of extreme delusional love ' IMO it can change once his illusions of Khushi's feelings for him will be crystal clear).

Then the most noteworthy moment when Payal Stepped forward & released Shyam;s hold on Khushi '

Abhaas's expressions were simply bang on '.

It was a big moment for SHyam ' it's the first time KHushi has willingly held his hand .. in Shyam's mind it is a day for major victory ' he is seeing the way to the wealth ' his Greed satisfying & He Has KHUSHI Slowly coming into his GRASP ' his Lust is on its way to being satisfied too

I am not going to touch on the SK travel convo as it was very self explanatory .. Shyam has figured a way to unlock the glitch in the WILL ( Roy's copy) & he is now acting on it .. this is his way to the means ' For me what was far more important was the last part of the episode .. my favourite .. when Khushi comes to Anjali's room to lay the trap for Shyam'

She walks in & and first says to Anjali that she wants to talk to her .. this is just as we see Shyam walking away .. he stops ' he knows Khushi knows ASR is kidnapped ' he knows Khushi is way to honest & straightforward & also way to impulsive' he stops to listen in on the conversation ( u know Abhaas is fast moving to be a fav actor of mind .. the guy emotes without dialogues .. one can clearly understand his state of mind) .. the moment Khushi says she wants money Shyam walks away ' look at him he is relieved .. Then comes the Khushi Googly ' she asks for Rs. 2,00,000/- big enough sum to catch the attention of SHyam Manohar JHA '

Here while the quantum of money made him stop '.. his cunning mind processed the reasoning of the night school so fast .. that he has smelled the rat .. Khushi's plan A ( hopefully she has an entire alphabet count of plans to fight Shyam) is laid ' the fish has picked the bait .. .. Teer bilkul nishane pe jaake laga hai '.. Now she will reel him in ..

Koel rightly pointed out today that the game of Cat & mouse has started .. Khushi will lead Shyam a merry chase .. but lets not underestimate snakewa .. he will retaliate '

But as I end this ' I cant help & feel that both Shyam & Khushi ' are missing the biggest factor which will thwart both their plans ' but will ultimately bring Khushi victory '.

The Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon will rise ' & play his own game & get victorious. '.. bas Intezaar hai toh 22^nd June ka
