I think its because Sanaya is not very comfy wearing sarees ... so the use is minimum ... also her figure is better showed in a suit .. u can bulk her up ... ( amazingly skinny hai yaar woH )

But yea me2 wud love to c her in a range of outfits ...

i slight disagree. yes actor portrayal do play a significant part but

geet never had to be an SP bahu. that entails more than loving ur husband. u need to self sacrificing to point of self mutilation. people draw parallels between asr and msk but khushi and geet are earth and sky apart.

and geet had no one but maan and khushi has everyone including the neighbors dog between her and arnav to worry abt. thus her "love" for arnav gets lost. the only thing good abt this track is khushi love for arnav is highlighted... she almost confessed to nk today.

@About the actors : Anyday I prefer Barun and Abhas over sanaya - but Sanaya has the potential to do well. I LOVED her in the diwali scene when she broke down! We need that!! That can be brought in if she is given a moment or two alone. But she is not given that. At this moment she needs to break down and we can have our Khushi's own Ambulance moment (like Arnav) - she can outshine here and let people connect with her. Frankly I am loving Khushi these days - I just need more emotions to feel her side of fear and pain and her side of guilt and regret - otherwise I think Sanaya is doing a fab job handling the show.

Well I watched Geet - and I could relate to her as well - because I would say she was still given the right dialogues and no doubt she acted superby well. However here - when it was time for everyone to connect to Khushi - they went into OTTness - that shifted the sympathies to Arnav and moreso lost the connect with the audience and hence the TRP fall.

sanaya is a fab actress .

when is see the 1st few epi she rocks and barun is wooden (like guest house)

barun has grown as an actor but sanaya hasnt really grown .. or has she not allowed to grow ???

ASR's character always was a priority with PH khushi was neglected until the movie came up !

I am with u ...

My reference to Geet was purely Drashti's performance & how she stepped it up .. with the evolution of her character ...

I am not comparing Geet v/s Khushi at all ...

My comparison is Drashti v/s Sanaya ...

C yesterdays episode ... did u feel any of the angst that Sanaya was trying to portray ... the dialogues were all there .. superb direction ... camera .. editing sab kuch ... but cud u as a viewer feel it ...there Sanaya comes in ...

Lemme explain ... after a long time a shot in IPK stayed with me ... remember the scene when ASR is acting unconscious just b4 he goes into to the room & beats up Shyam & kidnappers ... & he looks up just b4 the goon comes to take him away ...

If possible see that shot .. & c Barun's expression ... there was nothing but just an expression ... see it on mute & u will still understand in a flash of a second what he is thinking .. what he is planning .. what he IS ...

Thats the brilliance of the actor ...

OK so everyone was talking abt the old scenes,i mIss ASR and the waiting period is almost coming to an END,Why cant they make NK show his VDOs which he took during payash wedding,just to bring a smile on Khushi's face and iss bahane hummein bhi ASR ki jhalak mil jayega😍

@Red : so agree with you there. But subtleness wont work here and atleast not for the TRP audience. They need to show us more of Khushi's feelings and inner turmoil and her reaction to everything that is happening in and around her. Her moping here and there does not help. I would not blame Khushi here - the writers need to make her in such a way that we can relate to.

I am with u Anna ... they need to grow her character ... but sometimes ( i don't know if this is the case here) ... the actor is not as matured to show the growth in her character ...

I'll explain ... did u follow Geet ... Look at Geet post falling in love with Maan ... see Geet before she fell in love ... there is a marked change in the way Drashti has performed ...

Now Look at Sanaya .. how many of us mentioned ... that we are sick of her "O" expressions ... i wrote earlier as welll .. its like she has a list of expressions which she uses ...

But c Barun ... he his subtle changes one can catch now ... see the way he has changed his anger expressions ... its very small ... but u can see the difference ... & as the serial progresses .. these remain in ur subconscious mind & u think the character has evolved ...

Look At Abhaas & c how he has evolved as an actor ... c the Shyam of the first few episodes .. see the Shyam of pre marriage episode & see the Shyam of post marriage episode ... he is bang on ... u don't have to think one second to know what he is trying to convey ... thats the brilliance of the actor .. not the creatives ...

U can't relate to Khushi today ... because u can't feel her pain ...

From the writers POV ... relatable to who ??? Khushi has been instinctive from day 1 ... will that change NO

Khushi leaps before thinking .. can that change or will that change NO

Khushi can go all out for her family .. sacrificing her herself ... can that or will that change NO

Khushi .. can smile when her life is falling all around her ... can that change or will that change NO

Khushi ... is highly immature ... she views the world thru rose tinted glasses ... can that or will that change NO

Khushi has a thinking mind ... has that changed or can that change NO ...

U may not like a particular track laid out by the CV's hence u don't like the way the leads are performing it ...

Again a wonderful view..I declare me panka of redwine..so joining G club.

Still,I feel CVs can't make Kushi coz of what's so ever reason utter those many lies n manipulations..oh God! They r like cobwebs..

Iska baat Usko naahi,Uska baat doosron ka naahin..in flip of sec,she's lying top,centre n bottom..

One thing I didn't like is her resistance to correct her flaws..sterday,when NK was pin pointing abt what cud have happened if it was Shyam instead of him,there was no monologue from her repenting n promising to learn to be careful as the matter is serious n she knows the last time she saw arnav he's in unconscious state n at this juncture no mistakes will be entertained n cud also harm him. Than being hasty and instinct,it's better to be calculative than manipulative.she put a dumb expression saying I don't know what's happening n all tht non-sense..

Truly,Sanaya..pls learn some new expressions than the stereotyped coded expressions..

Janata, I like kushis character that does not mean I can take any non-sense from her..as when she's portrayed as high morale,where's that morale in correcting her mistakes when pinpointed n when in a case the impact wud have been larger..as NK pointed,if it wud have been Shyam,she wud have closed this for ever as there was no room after that..no proofs,no theories behind..just hum jaantei hai wud not suffice Kushi baby!

Things need to be proven..

True! Barun has come a long way when it comes to emoting! He has grown a lot as an actor and that is visible and no doubt that makes him a favorite! I never watched the show from beginning because Barun could not convince me very much as ASR - but after a week or two - he started growing and he has indeed become one of the finest actors in Telly wood as of now.

I am still of the opinion that Sanaya needs to be given more emotional scenes to portray. She needs to grow and so does the character. I will say what pissed me off this track - Khushi saw blood on Shyam's shoes - she came to the conclusion that it is Arnav's - but where is the "saansein ruk jaayegi" moment!? Frankly - the writers could have played so much here by bringing in her doubt of Arnav's life - yet they did not. They shifted off to NK and kept the story moving. Not that I dont like it - but this could have been Khushi's one moment. If I forget that diwali sequence then that one sequence with the whole dialogue - the nafrat one and the love one - that was again beautiful! That made me cry.

Maybe the directors are not able to get what they want from her - or maybe this is what we are to believe and accept. 😕
