mehndi hasan is my fav ghazal singer. i hv heard him alot. My fav is ---

"Mein hosh mein tha to phir us pe marr gaya kaise
Ye zahar mere lahoo mein utar gaya kaise"

his velvet voice n his devotion to music is unmatchable.

Kalpu!!!!🤗absolutely fantastic!!!! i was introduced to ghazals by my mom and dad...they love ghazals and Mehdi Hassan was my mom's fav...have grown up listening to him...that he is a legend goes without saying...so thank you as its been sometime since i had heard him...loved it!!!

the pictures are a visual treat of our jodi's journey till now and the ghazal so perfectly suited for them!!!! a beautiful tribute and an awesome post !!!!👏👏👏

Irshad, Irshad...Ah, sweet memories of childhood just came flooding back! My dad was/is a huge fan of Hassan Saab, and I don't remember an evening while growing up where he did not listen to the maestro's ghazals to unwind! A big loss to the world of music...what a poetic genius he was!

Loved the pics, SK...You chose some of my favorites for the collages...a fitting tribute to all that is beautiful in this world...thanks for sharing, hun! 😊

Kalpana, i am always amazed at your masterpiece of picture collages. You never failed to touch my heart whenever i see the pics. I am always lost for words. I just feel like to look at the pics throughout the time unlimited. Its was just the feelings you are igniting with in me that surprise me sometimes.
