Anywho now the unspeakable is done and she is married but she is not even a trophy wife...she is how shall i say it???just there...i think of her as this lint on the shirt which is there but you cant get rid of it as your had doesnt reach that far...

hahaha 😆 lol lol lol so true. it is one ill-used character.

I have no problems with stay at home wives but I do have a prolem with people like Payal and Anjali. Payal atleast does some work at home.. She cooks, brings tea for everyone etc what does Anjali do??? All she does is throw tantrums, cry, emotionally blackmail everyone, do pooja, call brother and husband every 15 min .. What kind of existence do these two women have? Payal has been a major dissapointment .. Its okay if she doesnt want to work and have a career but her complete lack of interest in Khushi's problems is surprising .. Atleast Anjali senses that Khushi is upset and tries to help her in her own little ways ( ill give her credit for that) but Payal is a complete let down! All she says is Khushi kya hua? Tum theek ho na? Hasso! 😆Thats about it .. she is a bad sister .. as a sister Anjali is much better..

I am glad Khushi is shown as an independent girl .. But these 2 women have never encouraged her .. When Khushi started her dabba business .. Anjali wasnt too happy about it .. She asked khushi " apko kaam karne ki kya jaroorat hai?" 😆 I was like W*F?!! Payal was no different .. When khushi worked for arnav during her bauji's ilness, Payal constantly kept telling her to quit? Did she ever think who'll pay the medicine bills if Khushi quits?! Khushi said she started the dabba business to support her amma and buaji .. She even gave them the money from dabba service but Payal doesnt seem to be at all bothered about how they are surviving ..

Anajli irks me more than Payal though .. The way she keeps telling Khushi ASR ki wife hone ka yeh faida hai .. Aapko kaam karne ki kya jaroorat hai.. It doesnt go down too well with me .. Also how can any married woman continue to take money from her younger brother ( no matter how close) is beyond me .. She keeps saying hume apne ghar shift hona hai but she has no problem spending her brothers money on herself and her GFN husband?? What self respecting woman would do that??

Except for Khushi and to a certain extent Nanijii (who's quite modern in her thinking at times) all the other women in this show have been potrayed as quite regressive and 70's -80sish

I completely agree with you on this, but again this is a note to CVs why they always get bashed.
There is so much scope for the supporting characters to build relationships with the main leads, but the CVS aren't giving them a proper story line. This is another reason why the TRPs may have dropped in my opinion.
Yes Arnav isnt there, audience is unhappy, so it should be accounted for by creating interest and highlighting the supporting characters. They should be given equal opportunity to show their talents.
and NOT by creating 9 yr old sautans >.>
At the moment, any line said by Payal, Akash and sometimes Anjali is useless and seems to only exist to fill the screen time.
They have used Anjali well, throughtout the series, but now she's barely given importance.
AND NANIJI she is a vital character who isnt even shown in some episodes. =/
This is just my opinion :)

I always felt that the character was not given any depth by the CVs, especially post marriage track. How many times has she been allowed to complete a sentence? Before she could do that Akash, Mami or even Bubbly would snap at her due to some misunderstanding. But what bugs me most of all is the way they have ignored Payal- khushi relationship. Those of us with sisters will know how illogical that is. It seems post marriage, khushi is closer to Anjali than Payal. This doesn't make any sense, given how close they were before.

Dear CVs, please give Payal a few complete sentences to say, otherwise please don't show her at all. And bring back the comraderie between the sisters. We want the Payal who stood up to the mighty ASR, when he brought back an unconscious Khushi from the guest house. Please give a little bit of depth to characters like Payal, rather than making them decorative items in the background.

Before the show was about every character. they got their dialogues, screen space, their importance in the show but now everything is gone and we are left with only extra characters instead of main characters.

I so agree. The misuse of a shy and kind woman is really sad to see. She has it in her to fight in her own accord as she has shown ASR twice, where has that girl gone? That Payal would have taken down Mamiji by now without being a bad bahu.
