priya, that opening was lovely, light, frolicsome and made it's point. haha, three fabulous shows.
yeah, product before consumer. always. but i guess in this profit dominated world where the suits (bijinesh peoples) often call the shots and creatives are constantly bombarded with figures, research, target audience, mountains of data, all of which have to be taken into account before you write the next line, i guess things can go a bit awry.
not turning up nose at commercial aspirations/considerations. nor undermining what are constantly being held up as "realities." just thinking, if creatives were machines...
however, honestly, i never got that whole babli (bubbly/babbly/bublee/bubli) story.
what was the idea? was there a thought there or was it just one gigantic booboo. an abject misstep, that was taken to what? reach a certain target audience? bring in a sub plot? kill time? challenge commonly held perceptions re kids and innocence (a quick lesson in psychology while you're watching a daily soap: entertainment bhi education bhi, wah you profit i profit).
fervently hope there was an idea, in fact a dhamaka idea in the writer's mind. and at least it seemed like a good idea at the time.
😉 just went and added to yt favourites a scene from the early days where barun looks gorgeous in light blue and chhote says to di that she is becoming more and more like niroopa roy with each passing day. found the scene on another thread, posted by fan(atic) ooohing over his shirt and dialogue. it's for creative work such as this that we all love, like, never-hate, abs-adore ipkknd. so hope the creatives take us back there again.
priya, you make my mind buzz. and once more, i am lobhin' your three shows re. 👏 👏 😉
