Even if he was at gunpoint there were thousands of ways the CVs could have worked it out but he using ILU as a hint or anything is beyond logic ... I had hold on to this serial and analysed like a DOG daily when you all took sabbatical ... Aaj ASR ne I love you kya bol diya everyone's over the moon but did anyone ever realize that they sabotaged the hard work of entire 11 months just to satisfy the Fan girls of ASR / Barun Sobti and succumbed under pressure???

I understand your disappointment and I agree they could have showcased it in a better way. But I will still say wait ! Arnav gave ILU as a hint because it worked both ways - first obviously it was a hint and secondly it was his hearts desire coming out. He played well - for he knew if Khushi did not understand the hint - at least he would die with the consolation that he said 3 important words to the woman he loves. Knowing Arnav when Khushi saves him-when he is back he may jsut trample on her yet again saying that he was just hinting. That will increase his repentance more and hence the cofession be worth it.

Also his saying to Akash that take care od Di and Khushi is proof enough thathe didnt feel he will survive.
